Something that was left out and is interesting is the reason for the car model's names (zonda and huayra). They are winds in south america. Zonda is a special type of wind most commonly found in the region of Cuyo in Argentina (where wines are made). Huayra was a wind god worshipped in the region (Peru, Bolivia) associated to hurricanes and rains.

Im doing an auto engr into hopefully a masters program then a mechanics degree. You'll need to know both sides if you want to go professional. That being said mechanics degrees can still arm you with some sick knowledge to create a hell of a project car...

That's a rather disingenuous or at best incomplete statement there. The V12 in the Centenario is 0.5l larger in displacement than that in the Huayra so you're not exactly comparing like for like. You've also failed to mention that the Huayra's V12 produces peak power at 2000rpm lower and its peak torque is more than 200lb/ft greater than that of the Centenario's V12.
