Even though I'm not rich I always have loved VW and Porsche I finally bought my 2004 Porsche 9114S and I can't drive it enough maybe one day I'll have my collection of Porsches.
I have two Porsches, a 911 GT3 RS which is my favourite, and a 718 Cayman S, which is my daily driver. So you know, Porsche has won Le Man 19 times, last in June 2017, three years in a row with the 919.
its a video for people who think cars are baller not people who are real car people and want real facts im sure rennlist will point everything out soon
Oh sure you don't NEED to have that kind of money, but it's not smart to buy one unless you've got fairly significant wealth. You can buy one cheap, but maintaining it and repairing it will kill you.
Does it for me too but I am not fond of kids in the car. They can ride with my wife. I do let my dog ride with me though. Just put blankets down so he can't scratch.
How has the Carrera gt not been mentioned!!!! An actual beast. One of the best sounding cars and also one of the last manual supercars. I understand why, by everything is automatic now
Nice! My first Porsche was a black on black Porsche 914 with gold alloy rims found on both Porsche and VW! it was actually my parents but I took over when I got my license and then my brother took over years later! Now I have a 2013 special edition Porsche Panamera Turbo executive edition metallic black and customized gunmetal grey rims specially made for it! I've had since 2015 Don't drive it much but when I do it is a fun drive! 👍
I started renting & driving exotic cars @ tracks several yrs back. While Ferrari’’s & Lamborghini’s etc are great cars - they weren’t attainable or daily driver friendly. So I kept coming back to Porsches that are great on the track & comfortable on the street. Had a 911 Cabriolet & now have a Panamera.
The Boxster's name is derived from the word "boxer", referring to the vehicle's flat or "boxer" engine, and the word "roadster", referring to the vehicle's two-seater capacity and convertible top.
AFTER owning 8 Mercedes benz of vrious models and years, I am now on my 2nd Porsche, a Panamera 4 and love its handling in all weather, and the smile it put on my face, as well a on other drivers on the road.
I refused to buy a car until I could buy a Porsche! When I turned 19 I bought a Boxster. Business was amazing so soon sold it. Currently love my 991 C4S!
5 things you REALLY didn't know about Porsche: 1. In 1994 Porsche won the 24h Le Mans with a 962 in the GT1, due to the fact that a manufacturer called "Dauer" rebuild the 962 Group C-Racecar street legal. 2. Actually Porsche owns more than 50% of VW, but not as Porsche, but as Porsche Holding. 3. For the Carrera GT they used an engine, which was designed for a car competing in the 24h Le Mans Race, which was later cancelled. 4. Due to FIA regulations Porsche was allowed to place the enginge of the 911 RSR 2017 in front of the rear axle. 5. Porsche had a large problem with the water-cooled engines of the 996/997 Carrera and 996/997 Carrera S which caused nearly 30% of them getting broken at around 100.000km
Platon the last fact is not entirely correct, It was only the 996 generation and on Boxsters mostly but the failure was the IMS bearing and at about 100,000 miles or so it would give out and destroy the engine so the bearing costs 10k I believe to replace it and that is why people are selling their 996 Boxsters a lot for very cheap and guess what they are in the low 100,000 mile range
Bradley Porter. Well at the moment only the 996 and 986 have problems with their IMS bearing, but due to the fact that the 997 (only the 3.6l) used a still the M96/05 they will have that problem too. However it changed after eingine number (Thats something I looked up) 6950745 (built in 2008)/ 61504715 for the 987.
5 is called the ims bearing, and it affected some 986 and 987 Boxsters, thankfully ours has an upgraded bearing. And it wasn't 30%. The number of ims failures across the 996, 997, 986 and 987s in total so far is about 8%.
I'm thinking of buying a Cayenne, I used to own a 2005 touareg and it was pain in the ass. Of course I'm not thinking of Cayenne that are under 2010, do you recommend me to buy a Cayenne?
A slight suggestion- Instead of beginning with a negation -'15 things you didn't know about xyz' start with a positive statement like '15 things you would like to know about...' or '15 intresting facts about...' Small things like these, increase the viewers attitude towards the videos
Love these videos love this channel ! Thank you for the glamours push in the millionaire lifestyle. Also i have a little request, if it is possible do a video on Alfa Romeo. I currently own a 147 and i love it soo it would mean alot :) !!!
Ok some additions need to be made: 1. Volkswagen owns the Porsche AG (which is the company that manufactures cars). However Volkswagen is owned by the Porsche Holding SE. The Holding and the SE are two different companies but you are also including Porsche Design so this should count as well. 2. Ferrari has the biggest margin in the car industry
Thanks so much...I am a proud aluxer I always thought that there is something common between Ferrari and Porsche and it has came forward!!! THANKYOU!!!
Cool video, but Porsche makes sports cars that in many cases are luxurious but not luxury cars such as the 2018 911 GT3 RS, 2011 911 GT3 RS 4.0, and the list could go on and on. Porsche themselves is an “enthusiast car brand”. Also one doesn’t need to be making much money to afford a Porsche. Poached (even new ones) can be had for under &70,000, and used ones can dip below $10,000 before going up in value. Porsche’s also make great long term investments as well. While a Porsche latter in it’s life can be expensive to maintain, they are very reliable and if one is any good the car’s owner can do some repairs himself.
Right after this video was posted a Porsche 917K sold for $14,080,000 at the Gooding & Company auction at Pebble Beach. It’s now the most expensive Porsche ever sold at auction.

A video on mclaren
Alux.com made a video on lamborghini
Can Alux do a 15 things you dint know about Maserati ? ☺💜
Porche Panamera...
i have to remind you it is not only luxury car, it is performance/sports car
With luxury qualities
Hey Alux, at point 2. it is Porsche 356 not 365.
Caught that too. Details details...
Thank you! Can't believe they missed this.
indeed !
What would you expect from a website called Alux... its basically a clickbait ad website. They really shouldn't even be talking about cars.
QuitMC yes haha that’s why I am hear to see if anyone else picked it up
Even though I'm not rich I always have loved VW and Porsche I finally bought my 2004 Porsche 9114S and I can't drive it enough maybe one day I'll have my collection of Porsches.

I couldn't find the sports car of my dreams, so I built it myself. Ferdinand Porsche
This quote is wrong. Sports cars weren’t being developed at the time for consumer use.
Ferdinand Porsche was a genius
88mm pak 43
I don’t think so
Which Ferdinand? 😁
I've had 5 Porsches. My favorite is the 1976 911SC. The 2008 Cayman was by far the cutest - with the "big hips" on the rear.
It's the Porsche 356 not 365
Exactly. They also forgot to include the Macan in the list of models.
Amongst many other mistakes
It is Porsche 356 not 365. They don't make luxury cars, they make sports cars.
Also it was the 1987 944 that had a passenger airbag not the 1986.
Except the Panamera is a luxury sedan, but it's the fastest luxury sedan in the world though
except for the hellcat charger which has a higher top speed and the tesla model s p100d which has a faster 0-60
its a video for people who think cars are baller not people who are real car people and want real facts im sure rennlist will point everything out soon
Dont expect "Alux" to actually know anything...
That Porsche Panamera 2019 looks gorgeous!
my dream car is a 911 turbo s
Miguel Messam 918
GT2RS
Miguel I hope you realize your dream some day.
The 918 spyder
Mine too
Any Porsche is worth buying....its a legend in itself
News flash don't have to be a billionaire to own a Porsche don't even have to be a millionaire probably don't even have to make six figures a year
yeah you can get one used fairly cheap..but thats used, the new ones are pretty expensive
To buy one new and keep it maintained you'd better make six figures. Or live with you parents.
Oh sure you don't NEED to have that kind of money, but it's not smart to buy one unless you've got fairly significant wealth. You can buy one cheap, but maintaining it and repairing it will kill you.
rudy gay A Porsche can be bought for under $10,000. Yes, a Porsche can be bought affordable.
You need just 5 figures to buy one, but then you do get a really really unliked one. Aka the suv
Best channel for enthusiastic people thanks @Alux.com
Talking about what is our favourite Porsche, mine is Panzer VI Tiger Porsche Tank & Panzer VIII Maus Super Tank
Im a family man, The Panamera does it for me
Doesn't it have a divider in the back seats?
Does it for me too but I am not fond of kids in the car. They can ride with my wife. I do let my dog ride with me though. Just put blankets down so he can't scratch.
The Panamera competes with our BMW 760 I- so I figured- why not aquire the Panamera. Its a nice family Car with All Wheel Drive.
Eldon Turner Same here. A family man for 33 years.
The Panamera is a 4 seater.
Waited for this for so long..thank you alux
;)
I love Porsche!! And my dream is to be a seller of it!! Next week I'm gonna send my resume to work in one of their stores
LV yesterday, and Porsche today?! Bravooo!! Luv my Panamera!
In the current lineup 1:15 you forgot the Macan.
My first Porsche was a 1966 912, next one was a 1989 Carrera 4 Coupe, my next one will be a Carrera 4S AND a Cayanne Turbo, LOVE Perfection.
How has the Carrera gt not been mentioned!!!! An actual beast. One of the best sounding cars and also one of the last manual supercars. I understand why, by everything is automatic now
We just acquired a Cayenne. A treasure to own and drive. 👍🏻

Thank you so much! I'm currently halfway to my goal of saving up for a Cayman!
After a long time you have posted a video on Car. My favourite Porsche's which I would like to add to my garage are Cayenne & Panamera.

There are quite a few that have Porsches. There are channels dedicated to owning a Porsche
Salomondrin calls himself a VIP Porsche collector
My Favorite Porsche is the 959.
Lol great choice. I would love to take a 981 cayman gts cabriolet
My favorite Porsche is the one I own, 944 Turbo, black exactly like the shown in the video.
I just purchased my first Porsche- A 2009 Boxster. Can't wait for it to arrive! Such a fantastic brand.
I don't give a damn about Jerry Seinfeld nor Patrick Dempsey! I want facts ABOUT PORSCHE, not facts about what someone did with a/their Porsches!!
The Boxster's name is derived from the word "boxer", referring to the vehicle's flat or "boxer" engine, and the word "roadster", referring to the vehicle's two-seater capacity and convertible top.
911 all the way! Haven't driven any others but the 911 definitely is a lovely car to drive
I'm waiting for this
911 and 550 spyder are my dream cars.
thank god! you've finally uploaded alux cheers ;)
Finally!
I know the wait has been long, but it's here now!
Alux.com Panamera is my favorite
"Only horses, don't do Porsches because they never stable"

You lost me when you referred to the 356 as a 365.
AFTER owning 8 Mercedes benz of vrious models and years, I am now on my 2nd Porsche, a Panamera 4 and love its handling in all weather, and the smile it put on my face, as well a on other drivers on the road.
Not only is my favorite Porsche the Porsche 918 Spyder, but it is also my favorite hypercar of all.

Seinfeld's Comedians in cars getting coffee in its 10th season? It didn't start in 2007. Thank you for pronouncing Porsche correctly.

I think u forgot the Porche Perfume Brand.
Without a doubt, my favorite Porsche model is the 911 Turbo!

My Cayenne is my favorite car I've ever driven!

Ok some additions need to be made:
I am privileged to own a 911 Turbo S in arctic white. Easily the nicest vehicle I’ve ever driven
Sooo, you missed two of the most important cars in porsches line up, the 918 spyder and macan
gregorio betancur gomez The Macan shouldn’t count... less than 300 hp with a Porsche badge should be a crime

Little secret: steady middle class me owns a Porsche Boxster. Extremely fun and fast to drive, gets heads to turn and I got under 10K into it.
997 Just purchased one! Love it!
Hey Alux,
In the video you called the 356 a 365.
A small but important correction note.
Thanks.
i used to dislike Porsche but its beginning to grow on me
I love Porsche! But where's the Macan?...
Right after this video was posted a Porsche 917K sold for $14,080,000 at the Gooding & Company auction at Pebble Beach. It’s now the most expensive Porsche ever sold at auction.
