I am a professional wrapper and founder of IBOW Training. I love that you went to learn from Justin as I appreciate anyone who invests in themselves. We are blessed in this world with continued opportunities and it’s great that you got to work with Justin. ❤️🤟🏽
I consider myself a “professional” wrapper and own a company called Coast 2 Coast Wraps in NC. I’ve always been against a lot of your techniques but your videos are put together very well and are entertaining. I think this is awesome that he brought you out and taught you some great things. I love seeing people learn and improve in our industry. I look forward to seeing you use what you’ve learned in the upcoming videos!
I could tell that learning like this was out of the comfort zone for paradox, but he was receptive to learning and still had fun. This is the way to do it, so much respect for both of these guys for being open minded and practicing their craft 👌 The bumper technique really changed my perspective and ive so pumped to try it asap
I love the he’s showing flats . And willing to learn. After he has been doing a good job . As a photographer you put yourself out there. And that’s how you learn . Love his content and always going to watch it . ❤❤❤
Great video Paradox. I hope you absolutely crush the haters. Those haters, instead of teaching all they do is put negativity in the industry. I hope you become the Juggernaut they been fearing.
Bro Tons & tons of haters in the Industry right now. Paradox the ONLY WRAP GUY I follow because he works for himself as a Independent installer who not spoon fed installs frm a bug shop. I respect that. This video is magic. Tons of knowledge frm Justin Pate on Calandared film which I have learned to hate since the pandemic when off Brands took over. Love this Duo. Nothing but love from these 2 guys.
As someone who considers themselves a professional wrap installer, but not a hater; I’ve had a hard time watching some of your techniques. I’m so glad you got to learn from Justin on how to eliminate adhesive lines and avoid over stretching the film! You had a great attitude while learning these techniques.
His classes would definitely be worth it but after re watching his recent videos i can tell this new method is much easier im glad i started watching the newer videos
Thank you so much for sharing this gold! I definitely recommend a Wrap Institute subscription, tons of technical knowledge on many vinyl and PPF brands.
Hey bro all I have to say is if people are willing to give you their money in exchange for you to wrap their vehicles then your a pro brother. Plain and simple.. I can’t stand 99% of fellow window tinters, ppf guys and wrap guys. We are all here because we love what we do and we try to get better everyday taking the highest pride in our workmanship. Most guys have such an ego and think they are gods gift or something and they belittle “diy” guys or talk down on smaller shops when in all reality those guys usually are half ass installers that would never listen to new ideas or criticism they think their way is superior and are seeking validation from other guys in the industry when that’s completely ass backwards from what this industry is all about. I have mad respect for Justin. One of the best vinyl wrappers in the world who trains hundreds of people each year and yet is still humble enough to listen to another guys idea or method of install. That’s rare and super rad
I still prefer to take things apart for longevity wrap wise, having it completely under an item def helps lifetime of it imo, as there’s no hard edge at every part bolted down. I guess we all have our ways.
@@etdancer I don’t mess with these Calendar films as all are junk in the long run, might look great for a short time but I’ll take longevity and ease of removal over a lil better look at the start
@@marthelarzate6229 Been doing it since the early 00’s and professionally since 2010 and don’t break anything other than maybe a clip or screw here and there.
I learned alot from justin also especialy letting the heat relax the film with out yanking it if ya will that was sick!!! nice introduction "Dox never cease to amaze.
When it comes to install you either have commercial or residential/personal vehicles. On commercial shit u don’t take anything off. When ur doing color change/personal vehicle u should take lights mirrors and door handles off.
The thing is.. it doesn't matter that someone does things differently as long as the job gets done and works. With that said.. I think You do just fine.. what works for him is his style. What I see is him suggesting is heat heat heat.. everyone can learn different techniques. There's an old saying.. "if it ain't broke don't fix it!" Critics are gonna hate.. I had a rap put on my old Peterbilt and the guy didn't use a heat gun. That was 6 years ago. Still looks new and it gets beat on by dirt roads, limbs, and washed a couple times a month and stays out in the sun ,rain and all kinds of weather.
It’s crazy how you sell calendar film and you’ve never known how it works till now. But when TH-cam people would tell you to shrink your film you never listen. Good thing you listen to Justin. You’re closer to understanding vinyl wrap.
No and it shouldn’t. If clips/parts break during disassembly or reassembly the price doesn’t go up either. Saves us money/time and the benefit of the customer is getting their car back same as it was in it was dropped off and/or getting the car back sooner
@@ParadoxTheWrapper thanks for answering good to hear bro🔥💪🏻i was just saying it because alot of people now days gain experience and then would like to charge more for the service😁👌🏻
Tbh bro if anything this is proving the haters right. That you have very little idea on how to professional install. But glad your getting the proper training now to start doing it correctly !!!

Two legends. You just need a video with CKWraps.
With Jay the wrapper spécialiste
Only legend I see is Justin
@@ThaiRoneyRight? there are a handful of installers that I would consider legends long before Paradox, or CK.

Hell yeah! Thanks for the support!
Basically, it's the same as tempering metal, you're using heat to relax the material. Love it.
Respect. I took an Avery class with Justin Pate a couple a months ago and his techniques are top notch 🙌🏼

Justin Pate is awesome!!!!! The technique and the demeanor???? Truly a guru!

What is the long stick looking tool you were using to wrap the bumper around 13:30?
This video is so awesome!! Hope there a part 2.. paradox learn the matrix
I’m definitely gonna attempt that bumper technique when I go to redo mine here soon
This makes my lil wrapper self happy coming for that certification next year!
Great video and collaboration. Thank you. Rainer is the MAN
Id love to get my hands on this film
Learning each material's range is key.
It isn't cheating, it's creative efficiency!
what is the name of the horizontal wrap tool they have during the bumper wrap?

Not really worth it on every car older car’s break when disassembled
Calendar film is not lasting 3 years. you'll see fading before one year. Trying to hide everything for 5 years might not be good for 1-2 year film.

My 2 favourite Car wrappers
What shop are you located
Completely awesome
Holy Sh*t!!! Did I just see paradox with a wrap glove on?????
The Bob Ross of wraps lol
Wrap guru said “ I take the headlights off and air dust it”
Paradox in his mind” hell no I ain’t doing all that”
So when you shake and bake it
where are you haters ?? sleeping or cruying ?? 🤣🤣
He is shrinking it like window tint

Haters are people who have ambitions of success and wealth only if they can get off the couch and apply themselves.
Ive wrapped my Evo twice and recently wrapped my honda civic. I was under the impression the less heat the better but its the opposite
for that particular material. You have to learn what each material likes. some use less heat and some a little more.
How is he teaching you wtheck !! U r the master wrapper u r the karate kid
I told paradox a few years ago that he wraps good but he’s not a good wrapper. This is what I meant.
hola .que matrial es el que usan?
Es como cuando aprendes a forrar libros 😎
Each one teach one …. Hells 👍🏾
Tell Justin, Mac's buddy says hi ;)
His wraps are going to be even better now. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Awesome video
How is the quality of this vinyl wrap? Does it protect from rock chips, fade etc? Never head of this material and it looks very thin
Nice video, i learn something.
Better is Just experiment yourself and you find your unique ways how to do

Tint and wrap are things that the pros make look so easy in videos but are deff not easy for diyers lol
So because cars don’t get taken apart and it saves you money does the price on the wrap go down also?

Proficiency equals profit.
Especially if ur wrapping a white car with black decal
This is an example of trying to re train someone that had many years of bad habits! 😂 Hope you can work your way out of your garage into a big shop!

I don’t think Paradox is the guy who take his time to clay bar. He just wing the preps and wrap it
You guys wanna make a video like this on my car? Only to the part where you then rip it all of at the end though.
Nothing wrong with paradox guy. His film might be garbage but he’s not that bad lol.
