Excelent course! When you are weighing an old Cessna aircraft with "Licenced empty weight", do you make the same procedure as with this 150? Because because I read that there were differences between "Licensed empty weight", "Basic empty weight" and "Standard empty Weight"
Thank you for this video, I suspected how to do this, but have never seen it. FYI, 22 gal of fuel (6lb per gal) would be 132lbs not 192lbs. I know that you claim you did this for the real aircraft already, but I would have liked to see the actual aircraft done, and for you to physically point to the CG location on the real aircraft, both front to back and left to right as a visual CG point
How do you know what Equipment is part of the Basic Empty Weight of the Aircraft??? I'm I just suppose to believe you that those things are not part of the empty weight just because you say so.?? Hummm Something is Missing .... what could that be??
I'm in A&P school now and we're covering weight and balance. I learned more in this video than I have in three days. Excellent video
Thank you for all of your videos-they are incredibly instructive.
Thank you for this video :)
Excelente explicacion saludos desde Colombia
Gracias, mi amigo!
Thank you 🙏
Good video thanks

At minute 1:20 you allude to a distinction about pre-1978 W&B… what is the distinction between W&B calculations pre-1978 and post? Thanks!

were there any special certifications you needed to weigh aircraft? Great videos! Thank You!
In the US, weight and balance reports are part of the A&P's (AME) job description and training.
What was the brand of scale set used?

hopfully this is being done on a flat rate otherwise your fired for repeating the leveling and costing me money ... LOL !
AND ... all that work will be undone as soon as you put the aircraft on the scales ,, LOL !~!!
It is not fair to start weighting an aircraft in real and make the maths with totally different numbers!!!
Its not good for me to use the correct numbers and do my student's homework for them.
Hmmm, wouldnt the air in the strut and tire be part of the empty weight? ;)
