Hi, a great tip is instead of filing the inside of the nail tips just put primer on the inside and they will adhere better and saves a lot of time. Hope it helps someone 😃

Yay! Hi there!! I’ve been loving the Kiara sky system. I have the medium coffin and medium square. My tip for you is to file the cuticle edge of the tip at like a 45°ish angle until it’s tapered to a paper thin-ish edge. It’ll feel flimsy, but when you apply the builder gel and adhere the tip, it’ll be flush. It almost eliminate going around the cuticle with the e-file. I usually just have to go in with a buffing block to to make sure.
You could also just use the primer on the inside of the tips instead of filing them, much easier and much quicker! 😊🥰

OMG lusting over these nails so badly. They are gorgeous!!! Not sure which ones I like more right or left hand, they are exquisite and what my nail dreams are made of lol. You made that look so easy and better than 99.9% of acrylic nails I've gotten done before. I hope it's easier than doing polygel, that was a total fail for me...it ended in such a sticky mess and my nails were sad looking but this may be feasible for me lol

Love this! super informative. I've been debating on getting the gelly tips and you made a great point about getting long coffin because it is basically a 4 in one. I like almond/stiletto style but I also like coffin lol so getting long coffin would be the best bang for my buck.
I always love watching your nail videos! This one inspired me to go get this kit. I tried it last night and you were so right about the learning curve. Lol...Two of my nails were crooked and two others had air bubbles so the positioning of the lamp and holding the tip in place until it’s cured is super important. I’ll be trying it again tonight. I think once I get the technique down it will be super easy. The removal was incredibly easy as well.

@@missmia196 It went pretty well overall. I watched a TON of videos for tips and tricks. I only had to redo two that came out crooked. The one thing I noticed in this tutorial was she supported the fingertip being worked on with her middle/ring/pinky as she was putting it in the lamp. That prob helps keep the pressure even. I didn't do that and was just holding my finger stiff while the working hand tried to keep the pressure even. I don't know if that makes any sense. They're petty strong though and seem to be holding up well.

These came out so freaking pretty! I was so torn between Kiara sky and apres but ended up going with apres since they had the sculpted tips which I definitely need. I got a UV flashlight to flashcure and I also found a gooseneck UV light on Amazon with a switch I can hit with my knee kind of like the xvx system, there’s has a real foot pedal tho for their UV light.

I loved last year’s Christmas vlog so please do one this year 🥰 also when you said you evened out you thumb with a 180 grit you shouldn’t because that thins out the nail . The bum means that that’s how thick your nail should be but you filled it down which mad it thinner

You can also use the primer in the k8t to etch the underside of the tips if u don't have an e file. You will be able to tell when the gel melts a bit.

Best thing I have bought for doing these types of nails was a 3 pack of led flashlights on Amazon for $9.99. I stick it in my mouth and am able to cure the nails perfectly.
