I'm still hoping that we some day get a continuation. Don't get me wrong, the ensing was verry well writen and fitting of Droselmayers idea of a tragic happy ending, but I still wish that she could become human again. The creator is still alive, isn't he? So maybe he will some day get the chance to write the sequel he originaly wanted to write! (I can still dream!)

ZannaZatanna1 I totally can understand your perspecive on Derek -- I daresay if it weren't for my own childhood nostalgia for the film, I wouldn't like him either. If they'd made him more like Fakir, he definitely would've been a stronger character. XDD
