IMEX, Tibetan Fair Trade Carpet Factory, Dehra Dun, India - IM Fair Trade Presentation

Tibetan carpet making is at the heart of the Tibetan refugee community's efforts to preserve Tibetan culture as well as creating sustainable incomes and employment. IM has supported several of these initiatives around India and Nepal, and at IMEX in Dehra Dun, door-to-door with IMs Asia Regional Office, IM runs it's own Tibetan Carpet Factory.
IMEX, which actually stand for IM Export, is not only manufacturing handmade Tibetan Fair Trade Carpets but also tents as well as organising and coordinating exports of Fair Trade goods from India to Sweden.
The movie was shot by IMs Erik Törner in India 2009, and is part of the longer movie The Fair Production.
