      Melody-OSU: I also have a hard time trying to do c2c, I watched Juan the yarn addict & he helped me a bit, but I think it’s when I turn at the end of the row, it looks backwards to me!??!! I hope someone can help me figure that out…. I haven’t watched this video yet, but I need all the help I can get with C2C! LOL

    Your instruction on the knot for color changing is wonderful. Any chance you have this using two more contrasting pieces of yarn to really follow how you’re doing it. I’m having a hard time distinguishing the two colors. If not, I will keep practicing.

    Thank you, thank you, thank you! I'm new to crocheting and wondered what the whole C2C thing was lol. Your tutorial is absolutely fantastic and you are a very patient teacher :) I just finished my candy cane scarf... I even added red and white tassels on each end! It's easy to get frustrated with new projects and patterns but your step-by-step tutorial kept all those frustrations away. Thanks again!

    C2C has been so hard for me to learn, but ur video explained ALoT to me… especially turning/flipping the tail to to the bottom! Between ur video & Juan, the yarn addicts tips & demos, I finally get it!!! Juan says the squares are like a pitcher with a handle(the 3 chains) & also like they are stair steps.. great tips!!! Thanks!!

    Jw, instead of slip stitch on the side to just chain 3, slip stich at the end of the cluster area, chain 3, slip stich to anchor, turn work, make 2 dbl, and continue as usual? I think I'm going to test that out on my work. I normally see slip stitches in many patterns and think of how to get rid of them because I don't care for the thickness in those areas. Loved the video, keep up the good work.

    Hi Barbara, I wanted to ask just a few Questions I hope you understand what I'm trying to say.
    Why do we always have to do a Chain 3 B4 are 3DC then a Sl St to join. Can't we just Do 4DC after are Sl St to join?
    I know why we need to do the Chain 6 N the Sl St to join,I just don't understand why we need to do the Chain 3 in each little Box. Does it add something to the design?
    Thank you for ALL YOUR TUTORIALS.
    This is a beautiful Scarf you made it very easy for anyone to make it. You walked us throughout all the steps that was needed to make it VERY HELPFUL.

    • @CrochetTherapy
      @CrochetTherapy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there! This is a very good question! The reason we chain 3 is that we are slip Stitching into the next section. If we just started with a double crochet, the connection would be at the top of the stitches instead of starting a new square with a slip stitch. This helps keep the integrity of each individual square. And if you'll notice, the squares are wrapped around the chain 3, if there was a connection at the top by crocheting a double crochet we wouldn't have that nice ch3 to make another square into.
      Have a wonderful day!!
