this didn’t work for me but after asking someone for help, I mistyped the license server info. You can double check if you did as well by opening Licensing Tools >Environmental Settings and then checking if the licensee server info is correct.
I realize for my particular case that the firewall were messing the connection with the server. You can try turning off the firewall and start NX if it does work you just have to add an exception.
For my case, the error started when i changed the computer name. So, I modified the SERVER NAME in the "splm6.lic", the file is in the PLMLicenseServer folder.
1.56 "Server start failed. Server may already be running" that msg is not coming when clicking START SERVER it is starting again,,, any reason / solution for this ??
In the video in service/ licence file you have 3 option to choose but i have "Simens PLM Licence server " option alone and in start/stop/reread you have 3 to choose but i have only "Simens PLM Licence server". After "VD is starting" msg if i click start server it is showing as " STARTING SERVER"
