I’ve only been to that zoo once (2018) and I was amazed at the Red Panda, I’ve never seen one at any other zoo, my favorite animal has always been the Tiger 🐅 but I love them all. This video has made me want to plan another trip there
Yay! Only been to the Knoxville Zoo once and it was enjoyable. We have spoken about going to the Dino exhibit several times but have not pulled the trigger yet. Love the mama and baby TREX! Glad to see they are animatronic. Almost like Jurassic Jungle boat ride 😂
I was surprised that Dinosaurs did have more life to them at Zoo Knoxville. I had low expectations and thought they would be basic statues. It was a fun day at the zoo!

I always enjoyed Lowery Park Zoo in Tampa, FL. This was my first time here (Brie & the kids had previously been) and was pleasantly surprised. It's a great little zoo off the interstate not far from the new Buc-ee's. We hope to highlight the ark/creation museum someday soon & would love to highlight dinosaurs there! Thanks Smoky Mountain man!
Home school field trip….awesome! Since there were other kids there is a question, if that is ok? You have been open about Brie home schooling but when you speak of a group does that mean she schools other children or is the group other mothers that homeschool with their children? Either way homeschooling is a wonderful way to protect children from what they should not be exposed to as children if parents are able to make it happen. I applaud you both!
We are part of a homeschool co-op (group) that meets every Tuesday. All the parents work together to teach different classes. This last semester Brie taught a sewing class & I taught a high school world religions class. It provides the kids the kids opportunities to do some classes that would be hard with a small group such as PE, playing sports games. Doing group field trips throughout the year is also another great benefit so we can join in together and get a group discount.
Thank you for responding…..you are so Blessed to be able to do that for your children, more now than ever, protecting their hearts & minds from what is ungodly….much respect to you both🙏🏻🕊✝️

I remember going there when my family lived in Knoxville. I was little and we lived there in the late 80s/90s and they used to have elephant rides.
I am sure a lot has changed at Zoo Knoxville since then!
