No-one and I mean no-one is more qualified to be be queen of this festival than our girl Wonderhussy. What a great fit. If anyone can call themselves a costume designer it is she! I mean 9 years straight at Burning man. I mean present her with the crown and bow down in reverence!
New Vegas is one of my favorite videogames. The games about 15 years old. Most games come and go. New Vegas has a really well told story that people love to revisit.
Being an avid gamer and player of Fallout NV I had no idea that this was still going on, after all it is considered kind of an old game... but I still play the game from time to time!! It is a very good game. Good vid Sarah!!
Many of us do not live in their parents basement. Nor are we kids. There are a ton of Adults there and many married with kids. :D BTW I know your kidding around. Least I hope ya are. LOL
Apparently many of these costumed revelers are mostly NPC or non-player characters. It is a good way to get together, have a blast of a party, and dress like any character seen but also add a few items to a character to make it your own. Anyhow it is a good way to get of your "mom's basement" (LOL) and enjoy some camaraderie with your peers. The woman dressed as the waitress from the billboard ad from Rita's Cafe was the best! BTW I didn't see a single kid there Wonderhussy! LOL Looks like your going to have to add a space helmet to your wishlist and a date with ratrod owner Scott Johnson.
Howdy Sarah! My son plays this game, it’s awesome! I used to watch him play it, it’s great. Thank you for sharing this, I bet once I show him he will be there next year. He is always talking about this. Please travel safety, you rock!
❤ Just wanna say still enjoying your reports on ole western towns an hangouts ; That one guy that’s a Guitarist looks a lot like A young Sammy Hagar . Keep on Rocking 🎸🦃 in the free world ❤. And Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family & friends!
Stupendous job of covering a podunk town event! You make your own fun and fallout. Time stands still when you get to the right place. Costume ideas for you.
Our favorite correspondent, Wonderhussy, doing her best to convert a corner of the Mojave into somewhere. Spreading the facts to all who are interested. Passing along good vibes. 😅 Stay well Sarah ❤❤❤
You always roll everywhere in style! Hugs, and may this season be full of wonder- hussy, and a new year of even more adventures. Love being your virtual sidekick. Thank you for sharing...
This event has Hussy's name written all over it...costumes and interviews galore !! It's like an Outdoors Star Trek convention or a Comic-fest with some Mad Max thrown in. And Rhett Butler says, 'Frankly my darlin'...I don't give a damn about those cigarette burns.'...travel on Hussy and in a rat rod ??
LAB2V starts Friday and ends in Vegas on Saturday. I am attending an old Scandinavian show on Saturday night, but if I see you there I would love to buy you a drink and meal. Love your videos as they make me want to travel.
Fallout New Vegas is such a great game. I love the fact that people are still playing it almost 15 years after it was released. Their cosplay is fantastic.
Another good reason to visit Goodsprings. It’s a great desert adventure destination any day. Thank you for making this. Fun to discover this festival with your channel.
Fallout is a lot games but Fall out new vegas is one of the better ones it how i know about some to the places you cover. some of the locations in vegas. In fall out 4 they game takes place in boston and that how i know about some of the names of the various locations in boston it a game you can wonder all around and explore i have played like there of the games those games cover washington dc los vegas and boston traveling through video games. they just started a fallout tv show on amazon prime. thanks for covering this i always thought it would be a great trip to go to all the locations in new vegas in the real vegas area. i love your exploration of the area it like i am taking that trip in the video game in real life you explore the real world like gamers do in the virtual world. keep exploring and sharing with us
This Episode was Cool ! I Loved all the Costumes and how Everyone is so Chill and just to let you know i am 75 years old . Thank You for Letting us see what you see
I currently play Fallout 76 which is an online version of the game and it takes place West Virginia. I like that version because I live all alone in Arizona but I was raised in Virginia and have visited most of the game sights in real life that are in the game in West Virginia. It reminds me of home!
Shuttle bus I bet 90% of those people where I dropped off by their parents I have a lot to be thankful for your channel is one of those I started reading the comments some of them are pretty good nice job see you later
Hey Wonderhussy! Not the greatest game of all time, but some think it is the best in the series. It happens every year kinda like a comic con. Thanks for showing us
Wow, back towards the end of my days living in Las Vegas I went out to Goodsprings to look at a place to live. I almost rented it but thought the drive in to work every day might get tedious and that was well over 20 years ago, before the traffic (and gas prices) became what it is today. The Saloon looks much different than I remember. I think they've given it a face-lift. I don't remember anything about the Gable & Lombard reference/history when I was there. The get together looks fun. Who doesn't love to dress up, right!?
Oh, I've been waiting for this. I knew Sarah would love it, but she's so busy will she really take the time to "get ready? " Maybe, but she'll need to buy Fallout New Vegas and play a few hours to truly be ready next year.
The 'rock' on the pot-bellied stove in the saloon is actually a piece of Carole Lombard's plane (I guess the metal fused to the rock on it). I learned that back in 1987 when I was taking a Geology lab at UNLV and we went to a few mines in the area. The bartender (previous owner) told me this little tidbit WAY before the saloon itself got built out. I feel like I should get back out there...the pulled pork sandwiches are amazing!
In hindsight you, wearing your classy "silver burning man themed catsuit with the electric implement" would have definitely fit in.
No-one and I mean no-one is more qualified to be be queen of this festival than our girl Wonderhussy. What a great fit. If anyone can call themselves a costume designer it is she! I mean 9 years straight at Burning man. I mean present her with the crown and bow down in reverence!
Fall Out is also a show on Amazon Prime based on the video game .😎 👍
New Vegas is one of my favorite videogames. The games about 15 years old. Most games come and go. New Vegas has a really well told story that people love to revisit.
Same, I even thought about moving to Good Springs, LOL
I'm 75 and have played F.O.N.V. SEVERAL times . Great video!!
Nice! 😎
That’s great. 3 was my favorite. I have the paper guide and everything. Think I hit ever quest and perk.
Best of both worlds! I’m a massive Wonderhussy fan, and a massive New Vegas fan. I’m in TH-cam heaven! If only I could “like” more than once!
Being an avid gamer and player of Fallout NV I had no idea that this was still going on, after all it is considered kind of an old game... but I still play the game from time to time!! It is a very good game. Good vid Sarah!!
I'd imagine there were tons of happy parents, you know, their kids actually left their basements!
Many of us do not live in their parents basement. Nor are we kids. There are a ton of Adults there and many married with kids. :D
BTW I know your kidding around. Least I hope ya are. LOL
the Mad Max type car, is a 1959 Plymouth
They also did a game based in West Virginia, which is where I live. a lot of it was around Morgantown where WVU university is
Fantastic video, Sarah. You sure do find interesting places and events and interview people with enthusiasm and charm.
Big Fallout fan here. LOVE IT!!! A new best show ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to the 2 room elementary school in Good Springs back in 1973, i lived in Sandy Valley just over the mountain. hasn't changed at all.
When you visit Pete, ask him about his mummified skull he found... Really Nice Dude when you meet him ...
Excellent Vlog, Holy Shit My Favourite TH-camr and My Favourite Video Game in one.

Such a cool episode and I’m not even a gamer, thank you Ms. Hussy ❤

Love seeing WH mingling with other creative people.
Great episode, really enjoyed it. You should do more stuff like this, I bet you pick up tons of subscribers from the Fallout crowd.
Howdy Sarah! My son plays this game, it’s awesome! I used to watch him play it, it’s great. Thank you for sharing this, I bet once I show him he will be there next year. He is always talking about this. Please travel safety, you rock!

Very well said. I always wondered what it would take to get those nerds out of their basement hideouts.

We like you in North Carolina!
I go through there in day and there’s nothing. At night it’s different. Hundreds of lights. You got my attention.
Great video Sarah, I shared it with a friend of mine who loves the game, I also told her about other videos you do
You always roll everywhere in style! Hugs, and may this season be full of wonder- hussy, and a new year of even more adventures. Love being your virtual sidekick. Thank you for sharing...

My son wanted to take me to this thing, but he couldn't get the time off. Now I've got a pound of bottle caps.

Fallout is one of my favorite game series.
I was there a couple of years ago and they looked at me funny when I suggested they do anything fallout related…they didn’t even have snow globes
There were a lot of Volkswagens at Woodstock. That type 2 was too new to be at the event.
Prime has the Fallout series
One of your best videos!👍🌺🌼🤠

Amazing adventure. Great job HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!! 🦃🍗🦃🍗
