|CAPE COD CANAL BEST FISHING SPOTS| "Sagamore Bridge"

This fishing spot is one I check out almost every time I make the trip to the canal to catch Striper. The Striped Bass like to congregate behind the big bridge piers in the slower water waiting to attack the bait. Striped bass can be caught further out with jigs but in this location I have done better close to shore. So you dont need to have a rod that throws a mile here. But just remember there can be fish caught in the canal that can be the life time Personal Best fish for most Anglers. So just keep that in mind when choosing your gear for the canal. Just a warning from someone who has broke stuff in the canal by pushing it to the max in the current of the canal.
This location has good parking with a view of the fishing hole. Sometimes I go to this spot to eat and watch the fishing hole from my truck. Get out enjoy the canal and its amazing fishing for striped bass.

Great content!! Tubal you for sharing! I am going to be vacationing on Cape starting this weekend. Mainly sea kayak fishing in Buzzarts Bay. Any fluke, Black Sea bass and stomper spot suggestion?

I have been more addicted to the canal for the past few years and havent been able to get out to much in Buzzards Bay. I have heard the bite has been pretty good for Fluke. Good luck. An I wish you tight lines friend.

Its off Canal St in Sagamore. If you look up directions just look up Sagamore Recreational Area it should lead you right to it. I wish you tight line friend.
