It's some damage, some wall carry, better something than nothing at all lol, it's really simple, you only have to microdash df+4,3 on A and B tiers, or just do it right away on the C tier, simple and easy just like that

So timing is: after you hit df21 you press f to the recovery of the hit and then f,df+4 quickly when then recovery ends.

Tekken is based on frames (f). Every attack, movement and action comes out at certain speed which can be measured in frames. Jabs for example are the fastest at 10 frames a.k.a i10 or 10f. When a move sets you at +8 or 9f it means you recover that many frames faster than your opponent giving you advantage over the opponent to perform moves which are less likely to be beaten or interrupted by the opponent due to that advantage you have over them.
Is this deprecated? The easy combo does not work anymore on gigas and jack (not class C anymore). It is very unreliable with feng and eddy so for for me. Even with the micro dash, doing the B tier combo on miguel is next to impossible compared to, for example, on king. Bob is easier, but it almost feels like it need to be frame perfect. For dragunov the df4 pickup was way easier but the delay timing in df2,1 was way harder. On females it no longer allows you to use the full delay, but still work as intended with proper timing.

I would only ever suggest using this tech with Tier C and maybe Tier B but Tier A is way too inconsistent

Try attacking miguel at a different point and time in his neutral stance, he moves alot which changes his axis and hurtbox positioning
