この曲が蠍火の元になったって言ってる人いるけど逆だよね？
蠍火は2004年に出てるから蠍火の方が早いし、そもそも作曲のOSTERさん本人がインタビュー内でbemani曲をよく聴いてて、wacやTOMOSUKEの影響を受けてるって言ってたし...
よくご存じで。

I must admit it's a bit of a mash up of other classical pieces, but put together in a very excellent way. Besides it is as hard as etudes of Chopín and Liszt and I know what I'm talking 'cause i played some (Revolutionary, Un sospiro)

Actually, in the sheet music i found demon fire is "only" just as hard, if not easier than than the sheet i got for sasoribi.
Both pieces have similar tempo (170-185 with semiquavers) but you have jump around more with scorpion fire. However, this piece have more complicated 4-5 note chords.
That said, the sheets probably omitted a few parts in both pieces, otherwise they both would be completely impossible.

BUT you can play this at speed. I've adapted it slightly for my small hands but I can play this practically at full speed. Hopefully I'll get around to posting it when the right opportunity crops up!

Don't know about this piece though. It sounds like a duet, but might just be a ridiculously hard solo.

Hmm I've never been keen on the whole modern-classical syle and it's cliches, it's still a bit iffy for me. This piece (to me) is just a mash-up of various classical pieces with some modern stylistic passages thrown if for "good measure". Having said that, etudes (if I'm right in saying) where created as technical excersises to improve the players technique not for how sounds. But I don't know. It's not my cup of tea tbh...

How long did it take you to learn scorpion fire?
I'm trying to learn it now, although it is a bit too ambitious for someone of my skill level...
Some parts have to be omitted in both pieces. Sasoribi have a part near the end where you obviously need three hands.
I don't know why people always say this is impossible.. It's difficult but not impossible to play.. Check out Godowsky 'studies after Chopin' and Balakirev 'islamey' ..

yeah i can play revolutionary 2 but this is insane, this is above university level.
@THCjunior I am practising it too. I didn't finish practising it entirely (I am at page 9), but I can play most of the song at full speed, but I have medium hands. I wonder how do you do it to play it at full speed with small hands...

I think I'm gonna upload a video of me playing this like in 3 weeks or so. I must say that, it's NOT impossible to play it at full speed, but you gotta be as good as Horowitz for example :P (which I'm obviously not ... not even 1/4 as good) ... or just be marasy8 :P .
But, if someone with enough time rearranges this song, it could be played at full speed with 2 people (4 hands)
Also, if you're wondering: this song is MUCH more difficult to play than sasoribi a.k.a scorpion fire

蠍火は元々ラフマニノフの曲をアレンジしたもので、それなりにピアノに精通している者が本気で練習すれば弾けないことはない。
まらしぃだって「簡単にアレンジ」して速弾きしているだけだしw
けど、この曲はガチで…無理があります！！

I have composed a midi by ear listening to this and added a couple parts myself, i also compaired all the chords from the sheet music and corrected where it needed (though the sheet music contained a bunch of errors but they are fixed) it so im 99% sure its accurate except for the parts i've added, also i can render it in 450 kbps or wav 32 bit, if anyone wants it please pm me. I will be happy to hand it out. Both midi or rendered.

@SuperSZ Piano monsters, like Horowitz, Cziffra, Hamelin, Argerich and etc should be able to play this piece without any problems.
