@@TheHeckOfficial Nazarick players took the role of the big bads pKing the other players, that why all those guilds banded together to break in Nazarick. A lot of the defeated players got tortured till they couldn't stand it and logged out.

The author of overlord stated that there are 2 light novel volumes left until the end of the series. We are currently on volume 16
