An idea to shake up the ghost gambling: Add the selected ghost to a believers win list. Basically the believers collect ghosts until they win, then the list gets reset. I think you would be able to create more believer wins without losing the excitement of those early low odds. You can also see who the true doubters are when their odds become worse and worse!

In Tanglewood, one of the furthest rooms from the entrance is the dining room, and to get there, you have to go through 3 other rooms (Foyer, Living Room, Kitchen), compared to Point Hope where to get to the top you have to go through 11 OTHER ROOMS. Not to mention, you barely even have to go through any of the kitchen to get to the dining room, and the kitchen is tiny anyways. I love Point Hope but it does need a lot of fixing and they should start with making it a medium map like it should have always been.
The change I would suggest for this game is: in Point Hope, High School and Prison, you have 4 inventory slots instead of 3. That would greatly help make players more interested in playing these maps since the most frequent complaint is the walking time to bring items from the van. Allowing players to carry more items would mean less trips and an overall more smooth experience, without having to change much on the map itself
For a SMALL map, that's insane how much time it takes to go back and forth between the top of the lighthouses. That's almost equivalent to running back and forth between highschool, prison, and sunny medows 😰
Props to CJ for making this map, it got a lot of hate because of the technical issues but i gotta say it looks amazing still, its a lot of work and time and i really appreciate it!

At least that's the only thing that made sense to me along my past playthroughs in this map. What do you think?
I think that Point Hope is a small map because of the number of rooms it has - 13 (for comparison, Tanglewood has 11). It actually has fewer rooms than Edgefield and Ridgeview (both 16). Which is kinda stupid but at least it fits the criteria with other maps. Maybe the number of floors should also contribute to map size classification? Nevermind, he mentions it at the end.

If they strickly go off square footage of the floors, then ya the number is low similar to tanglewood, but when calculating Sq ft. STAIRS ARE NOT INCLUDED HAHA. So the fact that point hope has 20 sets of stairs. It doesn’t change the square footage of the map. Lol food for thought i guess
My weekly kinda sucked. I had a Yurei, first game took a while until it showed it's ability finaly. Then 2nd and 3rd game guess what? I had 2 more Yurei's who did their ability within like 2 minutes of me entering the map. I like high experience but I enjoy the game for gaming, not easy wins like this lol.
I like to just make the sanity drain 100 when I play on that map in case the ghost is at the top. I usually play on 200% sanity drain. Makes the map a little more playable
When i tried this challenge i got a goryo for 1 of the game. Idk what is the best test for goryo since i can't get dots for evidence. can someone share some knowledge on no evidence goryo test?
To be honest, goryo is one of the worst you can get on no evidence, because there's no 100% evidence to decide it is in fact a goryo. You can assume it is, because it doesn't change a ghost room, and does no abilities of other ghosts, but that's about it and that's never completely certain. In conclusion, it's more so about ruling out everything else, than confirming a goryo directly.
I just dont agree with you Insym. The idea that you have limited number of light switches to turn on is actually a fantastic game mechanic. You never feel safe 100%, makes you strategise your movement (frankly also teaches some people IRL to shut off the lights when they leave the room! BECAUSE I'M NOT MADE OF MONEY!!!!). Also it gives the ghost 1 more tool to troll you buy turning on lights on purpose just to overload the breaker. I dont see it as an issue. Frankly its cool 😊
