My comfort rhythm has always been "In ta ka In ta ka Un ta ka", I have never even considered using "Ha" and it seems so obvious now. Really helpful video.
Thank you, opening whole new areas to me, have used different syllables with harmonica, but new to didgeridoo. Right now I only have a 48" pvc practice instrument, but have been making a 73" Diamond Willow Didgeridoo that I am getting close to finishing.
Thank you AJ for this rythm HA IN HA WEE YOU WEE I think is easy for beginners, like me! I can play this rythm for over 3 minutes! This is my favourite! :-D
You play so well and your exercises are so nice, but for some reason I can't get the sound we we we (the gentler part sound). When I try to say we we we, then too much air gets between the lips and the instrument, and the sound stops completely.
Hi AJ, I just received my first Didg and I am so excited to learn more about this amazing instrument, the first blow freaked my dogs out 🐕🐕🐲love your style of teaching. Keep rocking this planet.
what is probably happening is that as you move your tongue to create the "you" shape, your lips are also moving and you lose the buzz. Practice making the wee-you sounds with your tongue but not changing your lip buzz at all.
Watched your coaching but imagined I was playing a RAV drum (it's on order). It worked in my mind! What are the RAV playing positions you recommend? I have knees that I love and sitting may be better. Abs/core important? Strike from shoulders, elbow and wrist? Thank you so much. . .I love playing with you!
Hey Chris! People usually sit on the floor cross legged or on a chair with the instrument on their lap. Also, some people get snare drum stands and put the RAV Drum on there to take the weight off the body.
You are the reason why i started playing the didge. Thank you! 🙏
honestly best person to teach how to play a didgeridoo

A-e-i, A-e-i… or I-o-u, I-o-u …
Using vowels makes it natural for including vocals. Nice 👍🏼 video.
Still good and inspiring after all these years. Thank You!

Sara Nowacka I’m so happy to hear this from you! I use this rhythm a lot for both meditations (slow) and african dance rhythms (fast).

Are you circular breathing?
Yes indeed. See our many circular breathing tutorials on this channel.
Very good rhythm lessons. Thanks for you.
But it would be a great help if you had your breath hand signaled.
Feri from Hungary
thanks for the tip. we will try this on the next video!
Thank you very much!
Breathing works very well for me, but
I'm not doing well with learning the rhythm. : - ((@@didgeproject
cool beans
Whenever I try and make the -youuuu sound it doesn't work. I can get my basic drone fine but I can't really go anywhere from there. Any tips?

Thank you _/\_
I cannot play continually by breathtaking from nose
Did you learn to recycle breath? Takes a little practice is all.
