I also have a lacunosa that I got from a nursery in west hollywood, but it looks different from yours. The leaves are much darker green and stems more perky. Also, it regularly blooms. Yours looks like it's dehydrated. When I bought mine they said to not let it completely dry out because it likes a bit more moisture than the hoyas w/ thicker more succulent leaves. So I water it when it's almost dry but before it reaches critical dryness.
Is the attraction for Hoya is in their leaf formation or the flowers? I thought the flowers were the main attraction with the Hoyas. I myself love the beauty of the flowers.

I bought a hoya from my local Walmart for 13.00. Only one there. No nothing about them. I hung it on my open porch. It gets morning sun. N less than 1 year, i have had 2 blooming times, n a runner nearly 5 feet long, from a 4 inch start. There r 4 more runners a foot or so long. I live n north central Florida, n pretty much ignore ghis plant. Mayb thats the key.
I only have one Hoya the tricolor, but I love it. I have been on the look out for another Hoya. Yours all look good but not sure of the thin one seems a little worry some, hope it comes around for you!
I love the Hoya lacunosa... It's a little bit of a challenge but yours looks good. Don't over pot, but don't let it get bone dry. You'll love the umbel of little yellow centered fuzzy blooms. Mine smelled so much like a lady's perfume that my husband thought someone had come to visit me... :) I hope you propagate it. I have a Hoya kerrii, Hoya serpens, Hoya curtisii and a H. kentiana (wayettii). (Yeah, they keep messing with the botanical names...) I'm propagating H. serpens now. It has tiny thumb sized oval leaves but big umbels of kind of fuzzy pale green blooms with a maroon center and a citrus like scent.

I have the same hoya,for a while i thought something was wrong,it seems to like a little more water than regular hoyas then it dosen't look so faded,mine came with one flowers it hasn't bloom any more since.

I can’t help but to suggest, why not combine your Hoya Kerrii Variegata into one planter? The same for the solid green Kerrii. It would look much more majestic. Another tip, Hoyas flower when root bound. Some of your pots could be sized down.

They Hoya Kerrii and Kerrii Variegata is not slow growers. It is all in how you care for them. I had a tiny bud come out 2 weeks after I cut a leaf off. It gave me two new babies in that two weeks. Then they grew 2 inches tall by 1 1/2 inch wide in 3 weeks more. So it is all in how much lighting you give them. I gave it 24 hours a day 65 Watt grow light. 1 foot away aimed at it so it would not burn. I did this 24 hours a day when the winter sun was not out. I kept it in a room 73.5 F with 34-40% humidity with my 1 gallon portable humidifier going 24 hrs a day on low, filling it 2x a day. I watered it in winter only once a month. Now it's two baby leaves are 3 1/2 inch tall by 2 1/2 inch wide. How many hours of sun do your plants get, and is it direct or indirect sunlight?
Oh my gosh I love the hoya Kerii........I want one, but all I've seen in my area are the one leaf kinds and I've heard from a few people on you tube that the one leaf ones remain as one leaf no growing. So that I won't be purchasing. Plus the one leaf was $9

Yes, they like tight feet. You might like to pot them in a smaller pot and sink that into a larger pot filled with Sphagnum moss to hide the smaller pot and achor it...

I am an orchid lover but do have a variety of plants in my tropical garden and my hoyas along with my bromeliads have really begun to stick out to me asI am developing quite a love affair with them!!! I believe they are also ganging up on me!!! LOL! Perhaps I may do a collection video in the future on them as well and let them have a little bit of the spotlight! The hoya lacunosa is the snowcaps variety. Mine is delicate and dainty as well.

Try not to repot them. They need to be rootbound in order to flower and like to stay in the same pot for years

I believe you have a "queen" & a variegated carnosa. Very simular but different. And the dainty one is a lacunosa. Hope that helps.

A lacunosa needs more water than the carnosa, kerrii etc with thicker leaves

Your hoya's don't flower because the pots are wayyyyy to big I have 5 in flower and they are 1 year old. Rootbound and enough light does the trick

PS - Your leaves are lovely, though. Some species are easier to bloom than others, but OH, the fragrance (usually)
