Something I didn't realize until rewatching old mysticat videos like this is how much she has changed her voice over the past couple years to better fit her identity. As someone who wants to do the same (for the same reasons as her), it's really inspiring to see a real working example like this.

The "black thing" that kept flashing is called "Z fighting". This occurs in video games where two or more polys are layered exactly at the same position which makes the computer confused of which polygon to render first, therefore it flickers between one and the other.
Another way to make a circle in Minecraft: get a crappy pc, place a lot of tnt with /fill command, ignite one of them, wait, Minecraft will freeze and there may appear a circular loading cursor

Because of the way it looks like the blocks are continually moving, if you did this with soul sand you could make it into a quick sand pit. Like a sinkhole.
