This chopper is good. If I could change a few things, firstly would be to add more detonators and secondly add articulation on the antenna instead of having the other one and articulation on the arms.
Hahaha more detonators for sure! Chopper's gotta blow something up. Yeah I imagine there was a limitation on the antenna articulation, thus why they opted to include a second one. ✨✌️😎✌️✨
Chop! All criticisms are valid here, but what truly makes the figure worth it for me is the barbell joint for the head dome. I personally display my TBS Chopper with the arms out since I want his personality to be expressed so the TVC having the arms here don’t bother me much. Maybe an extra set of pieces for the hands or panels to hide the peg holes? I don’t know. He still is a wonderful metal menace.
I totally agree, that updated dome articulation is rather fun, and really helps capture Choppers attitude. I definitely would not mind some extra arms, and the ability to remove them. The peg holes wouldn't bug me too much, but I guess we would have to see it. ✨👌😃✌️✨
The Diney Droid Factory Chopper figure released in 2017 (if I am not mistaken), had more accessories. That one was just lacking a fire accessory for his buster that can be swap for the interchangeable wheel. I wonder which figure is taller?
It did, the rocket booster was included, and the extra strut that Chopper tried to steal in Rebels, and later donated to save/repair AP-5 ✨🤘😁🤘✨ The Dinsey one is taller for sure as it's the same mold as the Disney C1 I compare in this video.
Bruh, why does Hasbro put this in such a huge bubble when last year they were scaring us into thinking plastic bubbles were going away? Chopper looks good but we should have got a separate set of arms in a different pose. The orange really pops and will look really good in your dioramas. Disney Store is slacking on droids and 4 packs too!
It’s certainly perplexing at times. I’m not sure how the packaging team makes these decisions, as I feel like Choppers bubble could be the smaller Grogu sized one? They did see the value in bubbles for collecting and I’m glad that the boxes didn’t take over. I have a feeling that more items may make it into bubbles in the future, as it just seems like a smarter move. Extra arms would have allowed for more posing, which I’m always in favor of. I’m also curious what’s up with Disney, they have definitely been slacking on those droid sets lately. We should have seen a BOBF release at minimum 🤘😎🤘
I found the design of this figure to be confusing….mostly. -Firstly they didn’t include any joints on the arms. I know they will claim that it’s too small to articulate but…the droid factory arms are only very slightly bigger, so they could have either used the same size arms or, just actually done the articulated arms the size should be, I doubt Disney parks found the exact limit in size that arms can be done. -assuming the reason they didn’t include the articulation was because cost(because it probably was actually about money, not size), why not…make them removable? a simple plug in feature (like his radar dish) would make so much more sense even if the arms aren’t articulated, and it wouldn’t cost any extra money. It just seems more practical. Instead if you pop the head off (the head pops off just like an human head, its on a ball and post), you’ll see the arms are actually wheels that are locked in place…which is MORE expensive than just…plug in and out arms (???) -they for some reason ignore the dark vertical panels on the side of his head, that the arms extend from. Again, their inclusion would cost no extra money, would be more accurate , look better and hide the holes for plug in arms. Instead they just have the arms..popping out of the head (???). Don’t get me wrong-o, I really like the figure (and it’s size), but some really strange choices were made with its design, that seem to actually cost more and lessen the overall design. Anyway, greatly review. ps I believe we aren’t actually getting a chopper with the ghost phantom 2. It’s just an (undersized) droid head included for aesthetic purposes. Chris from Hasbro said that there is no droid body included and that they had to make his head smaller because the phantom 2 is not to scale. So you can’t pop this tvc chopper into the socket, unfortunately.
I know they have been working with their factories to push for certain articulation to be included, but there are also QA issues, and reliability testing that the factory has minimal wall thicknesses they must abide by. It's an ongoing fight and discussion. Hopefully as tech improves, we can see better results as well. ✨👌😃✌️✨ Hasbro announced that due to the success of the Ghost campaign, both Sabine and Chopper figures will be available to order at a later date, probably as a pulse exclusive, but if it's just a droid head that attaches to the Phantom, that's also fine with me. I reckon we shall see!

Did I miss it? I thought only Chopper's head could fit on the Ghost.
I think that's still the case, but I'm hoping this head can fit on there.
