Congrats for getting one of your Ghosts! As a HUGE Rebels fan, not getting the Ghost was one of the hardest things I've done (and I found the whole #gettheGhost campaign very painful!) but huge vehicles don't fit with my lifestyle. I'd love to get the Kanan figure somehow, even though I know I'll end up paying quite a bit. Overall the ship does look great but it does need more weathering. Wondering if all the great small details inside took away from some of the budget for the external stuff. If so, I think it's a good balance. The crew have been in so many adventures with her! Awesome diorama as always!
I always enjoy reviewing these items and putting them to the test so that everyone can see their full potential! This is 100% proper world building. Hahaha these boxes are insane, and I'm going to have to do the same.
Truly a sight to behold. What a beast and a true example of hard work and engineering to create the biggest and best project possible. A true labour of love all around it seems. It may have taken 10 years for Rebels to get into the Vintage Collection but it was well worth the wait it seems between the high quality of the Rebels figures to what has gone into making this important vehicle that has seen so much action not just in Rebels but of course now Ahsoka which this is labelled as and even the cameos it's made in other films like Rogue One or Rise of Skywalker. I get some people wanted it to be labelled Rebels but given this was being put together while Ahsoka was going on and they already have so much released for Ahsoka it makes sense they continue that brand recognition. A vehicle like this needed care and attention and for them to pull out all the stops and they did. Of course I'll never have one myself but I'll always live vicariously through people who do and I'm so glad to see this thing be made and be a part of people's collections. Can't wait to see the photography that will come from this next year is going to be a fun year I think for action figure toy photography. While I know they said most of the stuff will be unique to the Haslab mainly with the figures I do think they have an opportunity to release another vehicle that hasn't been done before up until this point because this Haslab is technically the first version of it. That is the Phantom II that comes with this in the show started out as the Sheathipede-class transport shuttle used originally by the Neimoidians including Nute Gunray in the Phantom Menace. I don't know if it could be modified to get another passenger into the vehicle or sculpt but it would be cool to see it repainted back into it's original colours and released that way. Anyway I think that's it for now but knowing me I've forgotten some stuff. So much to say probably regarding this vehicle it's definitely the kind of thing that requires multiple videos to look at and I look forward to your reviews of the figures. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Can't wait for the next video.

I got my Ghost a few days ago, and while it's not perfect, it's still such a cool piece. My biggest gripe is I wish the interior walls were modular to make it easier to get a camera inside for photography/stop motion animation. I also think it would be cool if hasbro released a separatist ship now that they have the mold from the Phantom ll. They could include a tactical droid or separatist leader with it or even just an updated battle droid. Great review/diorama man, and a happily holidays!
Nice!! Glad you got yours as well, and I hear you on that. It's definitely a little challenging to take photos, and I will be trying to find ways around that. I did take a great show yesterday of Kanan and Hera that I posted on Instagram. You just have to find the right angles and line of sight. Totally agree with a separatist version of the ship, I think that would be super cool. ✨🤘😁🤘✨ Happy Holidays to you as well, and thank you!
Great diorama! I'm still trying to decide whether or not I'm going to open it but glad I could get a good look at the contents/assembly :) Now I hope we get a good Imperial vehicle Haslab at some point soon.

Ty for the review, stoked you got it. I agree with you on every mistake they made. I’ve lost a lot of interest in TVC this year and this Ghost hasn’t changed that. Crazy how the Falcon is still the best and it wasn’t a Haslab. Happy Holidays Bro.
@@butwhydoe4020 anytime and thanks bro! Yeah the main fumbles are the lack and any paint on the bottom (which I can add if I really want) but mainly the small cargo bay and ramp. I really would have liked to take some shots on that ramp, like I could do with the Razor Crest. It’s all good though, glad this thing even exists! This year wasn’t too bad, but I hear yah and all I can say is there are signs that the next few years will be exciting. The Falcon is great, and such a classic, but it’s also a remnant of the heyday of vehicles and the legacy collection. We had it good back then! Happy Holidays man!! 🙏😎😎🙏
I was hoping you’d get it before Christmas. I’d be tempted to display it with the hood off and the characters just doing their ghostly chores. A high five to you.
Haha so was I, and I almost thought that it wouldn't show up in time! Top off is definitely a great way to display this one. That's on of my favorite features of these large vehicles, is that they have a dual function as interior dioramas/displays as well. ✨👌😃✌️✨ Thank you and a high five right back at yah!
Insanely awesome review dude!!! Just got my notification today so I should be seeing mine the day after Christmas. It's a Christmas miracle! Lol do you have any plans to modify yours? I agree on your point about the bottom of the ship and landing gear lacking some painted details. I'm curious, how secure are the turret and the phantom 2? I plan on taking this for a spin in my back yard and of course I have to do barrel rolls. I just hope those don't fly off when it turns over 😅
@@Howlrunner_base thanks so much friend!!! That’s great news dude, you’re going to be amazed by how awesome it is, but also how dang heavy the box is haha. I’m thinking about modifying one of them with a little weathering on the bottom and at least adding something to the landing gear. But I’m hesitant since it’s a Haslab item haha. I’d also like to add a decal of the ghost symbol to the exterior side of the cargo bay, since that’s present in the Rebels show. I checked the phantom is definitely nicely secured on there, and the turret moves a little but still seems secure enough! Maybe just don’t put Zebs heavy Lasat self in there 😂😂
@ToysAreTheWay lol I do wish the front boarding ramp area had room for figures, droids at the very least. I guess that's where I'll be storing my Lothcats 😂
@@Howlrunner_baseThat was my main criticism, the main cargo area didn't look like it was large enough and the ramp and door weren't large enough for a figure to stand in.

HUGE THUMBS UP! Why? Because I really appreciate you not being a Hasbro shill, by addressing the "not-to-scale" tiny Chopper on the Ghost 2, (not only that but you actually figured out how to improve on this travesty by sharing how to pop out Chopper, thanks man)... I got into it with BOSSK BOUNTY, when i merely mentioned how I felt duped by Hasbro not making it clear how this would not be 1/18 scale, AND also, how you can't really fit anything but maybe smaller figures in it's cockpit... BOSSK BOUNTY decided to chime in and write that "they did make it clear", (not true, most of the pictures/videos I saw of it were close ups, which made it appear 1/18 scale). I replied that some of us have lives, and not sad enough to analyze every piece of media information from Hasbro like he probably does. Then I unsubscribed from him and subscribed to you! Thanks for keeping it real, and in your polite way, letting us know that yes, it's a bummer, and I would say a little bit scammy of Hasbro to subtly pull the wool over our eyes. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
@@JohnSmith-gj4ub the designer made a comment about electronics, as they are temporary, and eventually give out, therefore they opt to focus on details and premium sculpting. I’m personally ok with no lights or sounds, both the BMF and AT-AT cannot be taken apart due to them. Which makes moving a bit challenging. 😎✌️
Apparently, I received an email from Hasbro today as well, saying my Ghosts will arrive the week of Jan. 13th, not exactly what they originally promised. Pretty disappointed. Hasbro should throw in an extra TVC figure to appease us. They said we'd be getting these fall of 2024, not January 2025.
They could've tried making the phantom 2 better, without making the Ghost any bigger. It's supposed to be 2 seats. I do think they could've pulled it off, even if it looked a bit off and big on the Ghost. Hell, the old Rebels line Phantom 1 is better imo, lacks paint, but its quite accurate and open to set figures on the back. But still love this thing, i love Rebels
Yeah, the Phantom is a little disappointing now that I have it. At least in terms of its functionality because it looks great, but as you noted sizing it up just a bit would have been cool. I am definitely thinking about grabbing the old Phantom 1, weathering it and adding it to this ship. I also would not be opposed to Hasbro taking another shot at that one and brining it up to a "collector" grade release. ✨👌😎🤘✨
One to open up the ship and figures, one for my carded sample of the crew, and the third Ghost is for my partner in crime. We are both huge Rebels fans and this Haslab was something we wanted for a while! ✨👌😎🤘✨
This thing being all plastic would have cost Hasbro nothing to make. Why is this thing not on shelves. I hate those crowd funding stuff. Put it on shelves and let me crowd fund it from the store.
Yeah I hear you, it's definitely a shame and annoying to not see these gorgeous vehicles on shelves, but the problem is retail. Stores are just not willing to give up shelf space for these large Star Wars vehicles like they used to, and the wait for clearance culture has also soured the retailers opinion of carrying these items. It's a challenging topic that I'm sure has a lot more to it, but I agree that it would be nice for these to start being on shelves and not limited to crowd funds ✌️😎😎✌️
@ToysAreTheWay or even allow to be purchased directly online for at least a few years. I actually would have started collecting the vintage line recently but knowing I can not get items that were only available for a month and gone, that sucks. Made me not interested. Enjoy your new prize.
"Bought two extra ships...," just for the carded figures? Yup, you are definitely one who takes the figures out, and sells the rest on Ebay.... lol. Honestly, personally, I don't try to go through the trouble of acquiring all the extra ships for the figures. My plan involves opening one ship, saving my money and NOT buying anymore. Then putting the figures in protective display cases, and showing them off that way. Heck, Hasbro released the other versions of each of the figures. So why not just spend that extra, "saved," money on a couple copies of those and open one of each, and display the others. But hey, that's just me. You do your thing Bro! Keep up the great job! May the Force be with you!
Nah all 3 are staying in the collection! As I noted in the video I need my carded sample of the crew, and the third Ghost is for my partner in crime. We are both huge Rebels fans and this Haslab was something we wanted for a while! ✨🤘😁🤘✨
Thumbs Down all around👎 • NOT ONE MENTION of the giant Elephant sitting in _the Ghost's_ basement (which turned away countless customers)! I.e. the unnecessarily tiny cargo hold basement. And the bow's 1/24th scale docking ramp door. WtF!? It's insulting that they would make the ship that big, charge $500 for it, and not add an extra inch and A half to its overall height. So figures could actually stand & walk through the basement & the docking doorway. A massive drafting table- epic fail if there ever was one..
I mentioned the ramp and cargo bay, which are my biggest point deduction. As someone who actually takes photos, this was a big miss for me, and I would have preferred the team to add an inch or so to that area to make it practical. The engineers are very particular about keeping things in proportion, so I imagine that's why they opted to keep it under scaled with the rest of the ship. 😎🤘
SOOOO Cute, but nothing to think about at all…22,000 people spent hundreds of dollars each to buy an (arguably) esoteric ship from a lesser known part of the franchise. The franchise is alive despite anything Disney has or hasn’t done to it, and there’s plenty of demand for Star Wars merchandise.
There's demand but it depends what it is. The Ghost is an impressive looking ship but it's Disney's wanna-be Millennium Falcon. Disney has killed the franchise to be perfectly honest. Pretty much all of Disney Star Wars stuff quickly goes on clearance or rots for years on store shelves with no one buying it.
Jup! Plus its tiny 1/24th scale basement. LMAO! Where the bow's docking ramp doorway is so small; the already tiny tvc figures can't stand in, or walk through! SMH. What's adding an extra inch or inch & A half to its overall height? When it's already that wide. It's A sloppy laughably bad OVER-LOOKED drafting table error. AND NOBODY MAKING VIDEOS WANTS TO MENTION IT.
@floorboss I'll mention it, once I post my video. I have no shame in mentioning critiques. If someone is ever listening... lol... it's the only way things can get better.
Let's face it. Disney has killed the Star Wars franchise. People can think what they want but it's not the real Star Wars that I grew up with as a kid in the 70's and 80's. And nothing from their movies and shows is canon to me like the Original Trilogy and the Expanded Universe were.
Toys are the way you got three ghost ships that's a blessing

Thumbs Down all around👎
• NOT ONE MENTION of the giant Elephant sitting in _the Ghost's_ basement (which turned away countless customers)!
I.e. the unnecessarily tiny cargo hold basement.
Aww how cute, you still think people want to buy Star Wars merch. Lol
The video that you have commented on is proof that they do. The Ghost would not exist if thousands of people did not back it.
The Ghost is based on Joe Johnston designs of the Falcon for ANH, that is pre-Disney.
Figures were the same faces as the stupid Ashoka show, expensive disappointment.
@floorboss
I'll mention it, once I post my video. I have no shame in mentioning critiques. If someone is ever listening... lol... it's the only way things can get better.
@@bearpause21 Someone needs to. I'll throw ya A sub right now.
Let's face it. Disney has killed the Star Wars franchise. People can think what they want but it's not the real Star Wars that I grew up with as a kid in the 70's and 80's. And nothing from their movies and shows is canon to me like the Original Trilogy and the Expanded Universe were.
I knew this day , so not a big deal,
