Thanks for the info and try to see if I can learn how to assign my samples I do have a MPC for some stupid reason I don't know how to sign the chops to the pants

when editing a sample, you go to process, sometimes not all of the options are there. for example, I want to copy and it isn't highlighted

Yeah, options change depending on which edit mode you are in, sample edit vs editing a sample from the program screen.

when I copy the sample from pad to pad it won' t let me edit them individualy. pad 1 stays in the first S to E. pad 2, if i move S or E points it changes pad 1 and so on. strange

Did you have it set to pad and not "all" ?

@@SoundsAndGear interesting. That selection in the SLICE window says ALL but doesn't have PAD as an option. Is this setup somewhere else?
