For those viewers complaining about the dryness of Abuja at this time of the year, it shows the contrasting two major climatic seasons of Nigeria: 1. The Rainy Season: a period of constant rainfalls and green vegetation 2. The Dry Season: a period of no rainfall, dusts, harmattan wind, dry weather, and withered vegetation. It is the beauty of our land in terms of the gifts of nature just like Europe and America have their seasons too: Winter, Autumn, Fall, Spring, and Summer. Appreciate what God has given you and blessed you with. This is tropical West Africa.
Thanks for your first trip to Abuja for your professional work. First, I commend you for showing us a rough portion of the landspace around the Airport and Train station which needs landscaping and beautification with flowers, lawns and ornamental trees. The attention of the FCT Minister (Mr Project) should be called to it. This is what many vloggers have never shown us in their videos. I understand that Abuja could be dusty and dry during the dry season because it is located in the far north central part of the country bordering the savannah-vegetation region of far North unlike the rainforest zone of the South. Wike should invest more on landscaping, greenery and the watering of lawns in public areas. In your bucket list of places to visit should contain the following: 1. A drive through the major streets in Maitama, Wuse, Asokoro and Jabi. 2. The residential estates in those areas in addition to the ones in Katampe, Gwarinpa, Guzape, Jabi, Jahi, and their newer and more opulent extensions. 3. The Sunrise Water Park, Aqualandia and Monaliza Games and Leisure Park, and other similar recreational infrastructure. 3. Top hotels (Transcorp Hilton, Continental, Rockview, etc.) malls, and hospitality spots 4. The Millennium Tower 5. The Centenary City 6. The nightlife in the city 7. A drone tour with magnificent shots of the city's expansive road networks, interchanges, highrise buildings, Central Mosque, best Church buildings (Ecumenical, Dunamis Dome, etc.)., 8. National Assembly Complex, Abuja National Stadium, and their premises. 9. Major popular markets 10. Nike Art Gallery, AMAC farms, the City Golf Course, etc. 11. Fill in the gaps by discovering and highlighting areas other vloggers have omitted in their documentaries.
@@ugowilliams8437 brother this so so helpful. Thank you so much for taking out the time to share this. I really appreciate. Kindly suggest more ideas if anything else comes to mind.
Rome was not built in a day. Yes, the place "looks like construction site" cos it is a construction that is still in progress. Slow and steady something is happening developmentally all over Nigeria. If you don't like it you can relocate to either North Korea or Afghanistan. Nonsense...😮
For how many years. There have being on this airport for more than 15years now and nothing much yet to show. I can boldy say the progress is very poor and nothing beautiful about Abuja airport abeg. Rwanda just came on board and their airport is way better than what we have. How long did it take a country that just came out of the worst genocide in the world. We are not serious about development period.
What is the essence of this isnt europe? I just dont know why many of you are belittling with unnecessary comparison. I'm a believer of uniqueness, and I hate being inferior. There is no need for that statement. We are unique in our own way, and i dont like to look like another man or country.
To get your title right, you should've come during the rainy season to appreciate the green landscapes justapoxed with "Smart homes". And perhaps take more tour into the City. Inasmuch I compliment your efforts as a first timer, the caption should've been narrowed on "Metro transport for tourists using the Abuja airport". I say so because other stations weren't captured to showcase the entire experience navigating the city on a Metro 🚇 - if you'd use such caption. All in all, enjoy your stay. The city is bustling and lively especially if you can know your way around and is an undermined or less broadcasted place for vloggers. ♥️
The landscape and restaurant are an eyesore. How dare someone put that kind of canteen around an international airport in Nigeria! An eatery that can draw a global audience or tourist attention is a structure that integrates traditional Architecture with ultramodern facilities. Eating places must include innovative concepts if we must talk and take pride in who we are.
The local restaurant is probably there to serve low-income airport workers and cab men who work at the airport with meals they can afford. The kind of restaurants you are thinking of are quite expensive!
@ An innovative, architecturally designed building does not translate into expensive food. If you want to generate income from tourism, you don't need to situate such a buka around that facility as it turns off international tourists required to grow the economy. Drivers can eat far from the Airport as they are mobile, while workers can have small kitchens in nice buildings around the airport. Cleaners can bring food in flasks or buy small snacks inside the airport stores. Nothing comes cheap in all major airports globally! It's not your regular place for cheapness!
The metro should operate at the same time as international flight arrival time.If it runs every hour there might not be enough passengers.Abuja should have constructed the busy route first instead of this airport line. Then again better than none!😅Happy new year, wishing you a prosperous 2025!🎉❤
I k ow many will come for me. Abuja airport is nothing to write home about this airport and its train service. For more than 15 years, this airport is way under construction. Corruption, nepotism has continued to afdect it. Car park is an issue, no enough waiting area at pick point. I cant praise Abuja city as we are so backward. Streets lights are only visible to routes where foreigners frequent. 70% of the city has no functional street lights working. No CCTVs, traffic violation is the order of thr day, VIO and road safety are only after private vehicle owners and leave the most violators who are taxis. Does that equal us to a megger city, hell no. I live here and have traveled to other african countries. Naija is so backward.
Such restaurant should have be there . That restaurant should be fancy and relaxed condition. Money is what money can buy, all you need to do make both outside and inside the restaurant should looks pleasant. And put little price on your food to get what you spend back .

Yes, the area they passed through is rocky. They can't plant grass even in the rainy season but they can do better landscaping around the airport in general.
The landscape is horrible! What does it Cost this out useless leaders to hire a Gardner to plant trees and flowers! The whole place looks bare and ugly like a village!😢
If you have nothing good to say don't say anything. You must give constructive criticism. It's winter here in America, my grass is brown and dry. My trees has nothing on them. Abuja looks beautiful to me right now.
