  • Riding my electric skateboard around the city of Arroyo Grande, which is located just north of Los Angeles. It was foggy in the morning, but later got warm and sunny : )

    Went to school at Crown Hill back when it was just 9th grade. Your video brought back so many fun feelings...even though Arroyo Grande and Grover have changed so much. I even saw one of the houses we lived in. Thank you.

      That's cool. I was recently here two months ago. The dunes are amazing! I did a video on that when I stayed at Grover Beach. Glad you saw your house :)

      Glad I was able to help out. It's a nice town. It's close to the ocean. Still far from Los Angeles. I was actually in Arroyo Grande last week to visit family.

    As someone who lives here in Arroyo Grande, we need to be clear on locations. The first 2 minutes and 21 seconds of this video is Grover Beach. From 2:22 on it's A.G., which doesn't actually have any coastline, but is only about 2 miles from shore. We're about halfway between L.A. and San Francisco. It's a nice place, but if you come for a visit, bring water. California is running mighty short of rain at this point, and the central coast is no exception.

    Another nice video. You should try talking and give your thoughts on what you are seeing and how this compares to other towns or skate trips.

    I want to visit this place. Looks so peaceful, calm.

    • @skatetoexplorevideos2477

      Yes, it felt peaceful when I went there. I didn't feel so comfortable though at the beach because it's a vehicle recreational area. So, you have cars and trucks roaming around the beach. Not a good place if you want to sun bathe or be buried in the sand ; ) Thanks for subscribing.

      I know this post was a year ago, but I will chance it. Anyway, are you talking about Avila Hot Springs?

    • @ClayLoomis1958
      @ClayLoomis1958 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@pgray5223 That's what I was thinking too. Sounds a lot like Avila to me. And while Avila is close, it's not A.G.

      @@ClayLoomis1958 I can't think of anything else that fits that description. I lived in Arroyo Grande in the 1960s and I am stumped. There could have been another hot springs somewhere around, I just didn't know about it.
