Two nice Stradivarius horns here - a Medium bore from Mt. Vernon (played at 1:30), and a Large bore from Elkhart (but early enough to have the Corporation bell) (played at 7:45). I use a great soundtrack of "Say the Name" to play along with but there should be other vids here where I play the horns without accompaniment and use different mouthpieces. The only mouthpiece I use here is a GR64MS. Enjoy! :)
Colin Davidson did a great job on my trumpet bell - lot's of previous repair done poorly and I think he did a very nice job making it presentable. He's got several great horns for sale at the moment; a Martin Committee (great player!!), a Connstellation 28A Cornet, a shockingly good Blessing Super Artist, and several others! Jonathan I hope you continue to make reviews. I enjoy watching them and find them quite informative. Thank you for your contributions to the trumpet community! Never mind the negative comments.

dad, thanks. A moment of foolishness for me to have even mentioned it. I get very few negative comments, and when I get one on a video that has good sound it REALLY bothers me. :) Anyway, kind of you to comment. More vids are on the way. :)

Paul; very good thinking. :) I said to someone last night, 'This M bore would be great in a restaurant or small bar situation'. I think it records extremely well also. More vids up in a few days of these two. :)

    They sound essentially the same.

Joe, you're right. Their feel is more different than their sound. Bach made his horns that way, I think. While the Large bore has some larger internal area - the bell is smaller; so you get your resistance at the back end instead of the middle of the horn. The 25 bell Large bore is the most enjoyable Strad model I've played though - and I'm not a big wind guy. Great comment - and thanks for listening.

@@JonathanMilam1 I just got a 1970 L bore Strad with 25 bell. Believe it or not the old guy who owned it wanted to throw it in the garbage along with a Selmer Maurica André piccolo. My goodness!!! As I'm a comeback player it's hard for me to play it. Lack of breath!! But it sounds fantastic!

I've got 4 Strads now, by and large they're my favorite model. But the L 25 is special. :) I've never owned a picc, but one of these days.
