they work great, i like the new style probes even more. they are designed to be set up at 45deg from tip to the base, but they will hold just about anywhere. ive actually had 20 of these set up on one dut, 3 ,4 channel sopes and 4 channel logic. theyre awesome.
I bought a Sensepeek kit and I make my own magnetic test hockup using Pogo Pins. I use similar Pogos in my version. Mine is for oscilloscope probé. Best Regards.
u can run scope probes on these, just not a lot of bandwith cause theyre for logic. they have scope kits thogh, ive got 4 of 200 through 500mhz and they are awesome. for how cheap they are it doesnt make sense for me to buy probes and mess around making them cause im waaaay to busy but i would of if i had the time cause then i could turn them into a cool project
I have a video about it: th-cam.com/video/LRSqrse67jk/w-d-xo.html It is from 2016 so these links are pretty old, so you will need to look around for a newer model with similar features. amzn.to/2cdTQIr - "14mp Tv Hdmi Usb Industry Digital C-mount Microscope Camera Tf Video Recoder DVR" amzn.to/2bDl7a0 - "AmScope SM-4TP Professional Trinocular Stereo Zoom Microscope with Simultaneous Focus Control, WH10x Eyepieces, 7X-45X Magnification, 0.7X-4.5X Zoom Objective, Ambient Lighting, Double-Arm Boom Stand" amzn.to/2bKSLYC -"AmScope LED-144-YK 144-LED Microscope Ring Light with Adapter"
I've been using them for about 4 months now. These things are a game changer when troubleshooting high density (or not) boards.
I've had a reason to use them maybe 2-3 times, but every time they've been amazing.

Thats a very clean image.
I assume you're referring to the microscope. That's darn near the most useful thing I ever bought.
Please tell me, where did you get your oscilloscope. It looks very good ... :-)
Pretty sure that's a Rhode & Schwarz RTB2004. Primarily available from EU web shops. Expensive for hobby use, but well-executed.
Sorry I wanted to know where you got the microscope with its ecsellent illumination ... :-) Please give me a link! :-)
