Thanks for the advice Rick, Gamo repaired the rifle and Sent it to me last week. You were right, it had excessive barrel droop and a bad scope. Didn't take the full 6 weeks... Only 3. They sighted it in also and Sent me the 5 shot test target also. I'm very pleased with my Gamo Whisper Fusion Elite now.
S.P.K SR. - I'm glad that you are all set. I've always said that it's better to under promise and over deliver than to over promise and under deliver. I've had great success working with Gamo's support team. Yes it takes time, but they really do care about how their guns perform. I know some of those guys personally. They are a decent bunch of guys that love airguns just like we do. Cheers, AGW
The trigger adjustment screw will adjust the stages of the trigger. It will make them either longer or shorter (the 1st and 2nd stages). You will either feel the trigger tighten or loosen. Cheers, AGW
With the IGT you can leave it cocked longer for periods of time and not have to worry about spring fatigue. The velocities of an IGT is suppose to remain the same in cold weather as they do in warmer weather. Cheers, AGW
Probably the RWS line of guns.. the RWS 34 is a great gun that should last a very long time. If you want a bit more power, look at the RWS 350. Cheers AGW
I would have loved to.. but with 20+ mph winds, it's hard to evaluate a product's accuracy.. At 10 yards you can get an idea of how the gun is performing. If it groups decently at 10 yards it has the potential to group well at further ranges. If it does not group at 10, it certainly won't group any better at 20. I'll be getting out to the range when time and weather permits and I'll be taking this with me. Stay tuned for more data. Cheers AGW
I'm with Rick on hollow stocks. I had a Benjamin Trail XP, but returned it due to the just plain awful ringing it would produce in my ear. I was in Iraq 2006 and lost a lot of my hearing. And I wounder what the db is with your ear to the stock. But I think your right on the spray foam fix. Glad you talked about that!
Both are lethal rifles with accurate shots. The Silent Stalker Whisper is a litte bit less noisy but the Pro is not loud at all coming in under 100DB. Cheers, AGW
Very nice review. I'm going to order one tomorrow. I have a bad crow problem in my backyard and it will be good to teach my son trigger control and site picture skills.
If you need power and accuracy in the mid ranges, i would go with the Silent Stalker. The big difference in the IGT and the spring is the crisper shot cycle of the IGT. If you want a rifle with medium power go with the IGT. If you want a rifle with more power and accuracy, go with the Fusion Pro. Cheers, AGW
The Pro has a shock absorption system which helps reduce the recoil of the rifle which makes it less than the recoil of the Whisper with regular spring. Both have recoil but the Pro does not have the recoil that alot of powerful .177's have. Cheers, AGW
The Trail NP is quiet and accurate. The better rifle overall is the Gamo Whisper Fusion Pro or Fusion IGT. They are quiet and they have real good accuracy and they also have enough power to take small game effectively. Cheers, AGW
Hey, Rick As always, I really enjoy your concise and comprehensive airgun reviews (bought two of them based on your respective review). Will you have the inclination and opportunity to review the comparably powered 2013 Umarex Octane? Thanks for educating me on airguns. So much fun!
Let me see what I can do about that.. I'm stuck on this one as pricing changes at the manufacturer's level as well as the retailer's level.. so if I say the RWS is a great gun for $230, and then the price jumps to $270 a year later.. I get people complaining on that side of it. I could use something like "currently price at.." I suppose. Thanks for the input. Cheers AGW
After chambering about 100 rounds, I had the absolute devil of a time, when attempting to add 2 new canisters, as the gas would quickly rush past the pressure relief's O-ring. I could NOT stop it (went through 10 cans)...until I noticed that the lower part of the valve, which IS threaded, was a turn or two loose! Tightened it back "up" solved ze problemme!
Hi Rick. I wanna request a review of the Gamo Whisper Fusion Mach 1. I have considered obtaining one from amazon, but I can't find any proper reviews like the ones you provide.
I do not know because I do not know what the new laws are in Illinois. I had heard that they had limited them to 700 fps. As of now, I am not sure. Check your local laws. Cheers, AGW
great video Rick, i think you might be able to get close to 1400fps with this gun if you use crosman lead free hollowpoints they are 4.0 grains compared to the 5.2 grain gamo pba pellets.
Great Video! Out of all the gun reviewers you are certainly my favorite and most reliable. I've been thinking on purchasing the gamo bone collector bull whisper in .177. Would you do me the favor of doing a review on it using the jsb exact match diablos in 8.4 grains. Thank You very much and keep up the good work.
Hey Rick been watching a lot of your reviews latley and they are awesome, keep on the good work. Now im about to buy a rifle so this are my options: the Gamo Whisper Fusion Pro or Gamo Silent Stalker 22 cal. One thing that im not sure of is the IGT technology, one has it the other doesnt so its really a big difference between the two?? i mean spring and igt?? Im looking for power and accuracy, the stealth factor it is not and issue around my place but it certainly help a bit. thanx
@AirGunWeb hey rick I have been considering buying the beeman rs2 dual caliber, but I am not sure if it is a great choice what gun is good around $150? Thanks
+Airgun Expert & Critic - Rick Eutsler / AirgunWeb Thanks for the reply! I'll be looking forward to episode six. I actually planned on watching episode one tonight!
I hope this sort of question isn't annoying, but I am in the market for a new air rifle. I have my eyes set on 2 in particular, both in .177: the Gamo Whisper Fusion Pro (the only con I noticed was that it is spring powered) and the Ruger Yukon. Which would you say is superior?
have you had trouble trying to zero the stock Gamo scope ? i am having trouble. i seem to be maxing out top adjustments.... at 25 yards. any tips. im using a laser to sight it in.
S.P.K SR. - You can't use a laser to sight a break barrel airgun. You have to do it manually. If you are out of adjustment, then your gun has severe barrel droop. Contact Gamo for service. Cheers AGW
hi, i really liked your review. i was wondering if you tried the gun at the outdoors. i would love to hear your comments on that. Also i would like to know if you have noticed any other anomalies concerning the decentralization of the scope after a number of shots. To be honest i am one step from buying the particular air-rifle and i would really love your professional review. thanks. greetings from Greece.
I tried this rifle outdoors and it performed very well. It is a very back. I did not observe any other peculuarities with the scope after a number of shots. The mounts on mine were rock solid. It is a great rifle for target shooting and small game hunting. Cheers, AGW
Hi, been watching a lot of your reviews and im about to buy a new rifle, so this are my options: Gamo Silent Stalker Whisper IGT and this one the Gamo Whisper Fusion Pro. What do you recommend? Silent Stalker has IGT, the Fusion Pro dont so is this a big difference?? I need power and accuracy in mid ranges.thanx.
Hey I was just wondering what you would recommend for a powerful .22 pellet rifle for no more than $350, I have been looking at the Benjamin NP XL 1100 but I would like to get your opinion because of your knowledge in arguns.
plz bro rply fast >> i want to buy one but now i'm waiting you to answer to my question about wich one is better about the power and quality and accuracy the diana 350magnum or gamo whisper 1400 some people say the gamo after 100 shots is coming bad and slow not same power is before .. and i want first the power then accuracy and quality ------ so plz tell me wich bun is better and more power (for hunt) and work good for loong time not only 100 shots !! i'm waiting your answer.. thanx
Crackhead broke into my car last night. My alarm allowed me to get out in time to scare him before taking anything. I didn't have my gamo whisper pro, but if I did would it have done any damage to him or stop if he was trying to get into my house?? Thx a lot

Got a question about the sat trigger. I just got a maxxim hornet .22 with the same sat trigger. I was adjusting the 1st adjusting the screw which is the screw on the trigger and a few days later that 1st screw fell out. Im having trouble trying to get that screw back in. It goes in the hole but its just not going into the hole that it needs to be screwed into. Is there a certain way this needs to be done?
Loved your channel. Awesome informative well made honest reviews! Much much appreciated. Keep up the great work.. Please do some outdoor or long range accuracy testing on this rifle if it isn't much trouble... I'm about to buy one and the only air rifle reviews I trust are yours. Honestly. P.s. please sir, for the love of humankind, change the horrible guitar riffing music at the intro.. Makes your awesome videos and channel look bad. Seriously, its that bad. More noticeable, because the channel and reviews in general are flawless otherwise. Regards from India Cheers!!!!
It depends on what your are looking for. If you want a magnum springer in .22 that is accurate and one of the finest springers made, then go with the 350. If you want a good .177 for small game hunting and plinking, I would go with the Fusion Pro. You cannot lose with either rifle. Cheers, AGW
hes doing much more then leading you to a website he discusses the flaws in velocity claims and accuracy he gives the most honest reviews on youtube
Thanks for the advice Rick, Gamo repaired the rifle and Sent it to me last week. You were right, it had excessive barrel droop and a bad scope. Didn't take the full 6 weeks... Only 3. I like what you have done with the presentation room. I can not say I liked the previous one much but this one is awesome.
It is a very good rifle that has a good trigger, decent velocity and it is quiet. It is accurate as well.
Cheers,
AGW
The trigger adjustment screw will adjust the stages of the trigger. It will make them either longer or shorter (the 1st and 2nd stages). You will either feel the trigger tighten or loosen.
Cheers,

I had this a couple of days ago, it's great for shooting at around 80 - 100 yards, i even hit my shot at 131 yard on a little target. Great air gun!
With the IGT you can leave it cocked longer for periods of time and not have to worry about spring fatigue. The velocities of an IGT is suppose to remain the same in cold weather as they do in warmer weather.

Safetys are normally located on the trigger are at the rear of the rifle.

This is great, I got it as a Christmas gift for ...
Very nice review. I'm going to order one tomorrow. I have a bad crow problem in my backyard and it will be good to teach my son trigger control and site picture skills.
Both are great rifles. I would base my choice on price. Both guns are great for the money. The Yukon is a great rifle for the price.
Cheers,
AGW

I would check out the Umarex Octane. I will be posting a review of it later this month. Early reports say that it is powerful and quiet.
Cheers,
AGW
We will see what we can do.
Cheers,
AGW
Thanks.

One is a Gamo Whisper and the other is a Hatsan 85 Sniper Camo.
Cheers,
AGW
The Pro has a shock absorption system which helps reduce the recoil of the rifle which makes it less than the recoil of the Whisper with regular spring. Both have recoil but the Pro does not have the recoil that alot of powerful .177's have.
Cheers,
AGW
For consistency at that range, look into a PCP gun. The Benjamin Discovery is a good starting point.
Cheers!
AGW
When we get one in for review we will post it as quick as we can.
Cheers,

The Trail NP is quiet and accurate. The better rifle overall is the Gamo Whisper Fusion Pro or Fusion IGT. They are quiet and they have real good accuracy and they also have enough power to take small game effectively.

That is dependent on the scope that you are using. What scope are you using?
Cheers,

We might test them at a later date just to see what we get.

In .177, I would have to go with the Gamo Whisper Fusion IGT.
Cheers,
AGW
I did a review on the Hunter Extreme in .177 a while back.

The new Gamos are great rifles...especially the Fusion Pro. Overall I would have to go with the RWS 350.

I think that's a very good idea. I too, miss seeing the pricing. Even the MSRP would be good.

The Whisper Fusion is more quieter and has less power. The Pro has more power but it is quiet for a .177 of its power.

We would say that the accuracy is about equal.
Cheers,

Please do a Gamo Magnum review.
Hey love the video, please can you tell me where you got that pellet holder from your wearing around your neck? I want to get one myself. Thanks
Nice review I wish they would make you a 20 yard in door shooting range
great video Rick, i think you might be able to get close to 1400fps with this gun if you use crosman lead free hollowpoints they are 4.0 grains compared to the 5.2 grain gamo pba pellets.
Yes it is by 6DB's. The Fusion is 94DB and the Pro is 100DB.

Thanks. So the Fusion IGT is the more quiet one.
Ok got it. Also i was wondering bout the Whisper Fusion, what can you tell my about that one? thanx for replies.

It only comes in a combo and it sells for 259.99.

Out of all the air guns you review, what is the most rugged and reliable accurate, you would suggest for years of service, for the money?
I really liked it I might buy it let's see
Have you reviewed the .22 caliber? Going that route, after having owned 2 previous .177 caliber rifles. Both Gamo and very good quality for the price.
Good review, thanks!
The Hatsan 95 in .22 or .177.
Cheers,
AGW
Tank you very much
Hey rick nice video. Whats a good air rife for long rage shooting about 100 to 50 yards
Hi Rick. Please do a review on te Whisper fusion mach 1??? I'm thinking about buying it but I can't get a quality review on it anywhere
Actually they are the Gamo CSI whisper (top left) and the Gamo Rocket IGT (bottom right)
@AirGunWeb hey rick I have been considering buying the beeman rs2 dual caliber, but I am not sure if it is a great choice what gun is good around $150? Thanks
love your show keep the good work up.
What are the two camo air rifles on the wall behind you?
what pellet would you recommend for the whisper fusion pro in .22 thanks in advance
when are u going to review that gamo hunter extreme hangin on that wall back there
Looking for a good nitro piston rifle, preferably in the $200 range with an optic, .17 caliber.
It is not as loud as the 34. The 34 is over 100DB as to where the Pro is under 100DB.
Cheers,
AGW
Hey Rick, what is the best airgun under $150 for plinking and small game hunting?
I wonder do you have to put the safety on
Hatsan 95 in .22 or .177.
Cheers,
AGW
Rick, are you going to be reviewing the Mach 1 Pigman that includes all of the new GAMO technologies(RRR, CAT and Mach 1 IGT)?
+PM WH5150 - yep.. keep your eye open for Episode 6 of AirgunWebTV - www.airgunwebtv.com. We'll be covering it there.

Do a gamo magnum .177 review please!
Any idea if the gamo whisper fusion mach 1 has similar velocity with its igt gas ram?
Which is quiet and more lethal: The Gamo Silent Stalker Whisper or Gamo Whisper Fusion Pro?
I hope this sort of question isn't annoying, but I am in the market for a new air rifle. I have my eyes set on 2 in particular, both in .177: the Gamo Whisper Fusion Pro (the only con I noticed was that it is spring powered) and the Ruger Yukon. Which would you say is superior?

Is this gun more accurate at 20 yards than the igt version of this rifle?
If you want a rifle to take deer, I would consider a very powerful PCP rifle and not a springer.

AGW
Hi Rick whats the closest air rifle to the Gamo whisper csi, i like shooting iron sites, thank you.
plz bro rply fast >>
i want to buy one but now i'm waiting you to answer to my question
about wich one is better about the power and quality and accuracy
the diana 350magnum or gamo whisper 1400
some people say the gamo after 100 shots is coming bad and slow
not same power is before ..
and i want first the power then accuracy and quality
------
so plz tell me wich bun is better and more power (for hunt)
and work good for loong time not only 100 shots !!
i'm waiting your answer..

What's the difference between the Gamo Whisper Fusion and the Whisper Fusion Pro?
Have you tested the .22 caliber version of the Whisper Fusion Pro?
Not yet.. I've asked Gamo for one though.Cheers,AGW
Yes please rick. If it's good I will get it
Are these legal in Illinois??
Would this be a good air gun in .177 to hunt squirrel and rabbit?
Hi .. i'm from middle east and i want your HELP.!
i want the powerfull spring airguns in world !!
so all people say the DIANA 350 - 1250FPS is more powerfull spring airgun..
-----------
and now i see gamo make 1400FPS so its more then diana 1250fps
-----------
but some people said the gamo not good quality as diana
so You have more experience about airguns..
-----------
wich one more powerfull and best quality and best accuracy
gamo 1400 or diana 350.. or there is other guns batter?
Hi I have Gamo Quicker 10x how is it ? Can let it whisper..thanks for everything
You know whats a good cheap airgun? The Crossman pumpmaster. I just nailed a squirrel the other day..
Is the scope set when you get it right out of the box or do you have to set it yourself?
You'll have to sight it in. I did a video for gamo on how to do it: th-cam.com/video/H6FLr9QBFKc/w-d-xo.html
Cheers
AGW
which is better or deer rifle Hatsan 125
how much is the gamo whisper fusion pro w/scope or without.?
Got a question about the sat trigger. I just got a maxxim hornet .22 with the same sat trigger. I was adjusting the 1st adjusting the screw which is the screw on the trigger and a few days later that 1st screw fell out. Im having trouble trying to get that screw back in. It goes in the hole but its just not going into the hole that it needs to be screwed into. Is there a certain way this needs to be done?
I just bought a new gamo extreme hunter .25 caliber. The .22 is great. What do you think of the .25 caliber?
I have the .25 as well. It's a good shooting gun. at least mine has been.
cheers

I can see my front sight when I look threw my scope why is that? And how
Do I fix it?
Should I get this, or a Diana 350 Magnum?
It depends on what your are looking for. If you want a magnum springer in .22 that is accurate and one of the finest springers made, then go with the 350. If you want a good .177 for small game hunting and plinking, I would go with the Fusion Pro. You cannot lose with either rifle.
