    These are quite common in some European countries- especially Spain. Lots of this style on the Madrid and Barcelona metros - most with glass balustrades though…
    Personally I think it’s quite an ugly, bulky design and the normal Tugela / Victoria ones were far nicer to look at. But at least it’s some variety. 😅
    There are a few in England too, and a couple of travelators dotted around like it as well. Will film if I visit any places with them… 🙂

      Avante was a product of ThyssenKrupp Norte and produced in Asturias, Spain, where the TKE iWalk pitless moving walks are currently produced. Perhaps because of this, the Avante has its own unique yet weird design compared to Velino/Tugela that are produced in Germany and China (both are global products).
      According to ThyssenKrupp Norte's website on Wayback Machine, the Avante was not only sold in Europe, but also Americas and the Middle East.
