Grubby seems super surprised he's ahead when he only lost probably like 3 rifles total over the course of the entire game. Paladin/Bloodmage was a more effective sustain hero composition than Archmage/Alchemist with paladin as the third hero. I think his opponent assumed it would be a archmage first build. But Alchemist second hero and usage seemed like the incorrect response which lost him the game. In the melee vs ranged matchup, if you allow rifles to keep kiting you will always lose that fight which is why alchemist's heal spray seemed like the worst ability at that moment. Yes it keeps your footmen alive, but the rifles get too much room and time to reposition in the mean time. Acid bomb, or say a MK with thunderclap/stormbolt allows the melee army to close the distance with the rifles or outright kill individual units. Without the secured kills, you see Grubby's army composition completely out value his opponent. His tech usage of sorceress's to slow and make Grubbys army less mobile came at the cost of overall damage output by his army, which meant that even if now he could catch the rifles, there was no kill potential due to how many footmen he had lost, and how low dps his army consisted of.
i thought it was funny that the opponent reskilled into blizzard immediately after the fight he got decimated by it. water elemental wasn't contributing anyways, but still gave me a giggle.
When I saw a rifle die a little after 14 mins I almost thought it was the only one he lost. His micro was just too on point. Holding holy light until the red hp rifle is _also_ getting caught at the back of his retreat and moving forward to scare away heroes/mages.
Hey. Just here to mention that Holy Light and Death Coil do damage to both Undead and living units. That being said if you Banish your heal and then use Holy Light the healing will be increased by Banish ;)
Ernest Hemingway? I always thought that he was professional margarita drinker on Cuba, while also writing 'Old man and the sea' that would eventually get him Nobel Prize. Man knew something about stylishly spending his time... Also, latest thumbnails are nice)

I would take naga instead of alch. Archmage + Naga + foots could easily take 2-3 rifles and stop the snowball

I used exactly this strat but with AM for the second hero + Priest (Dispel for UD). It's very hard for someone to try to harm your unit
Would this strat work against Orc: Tauren/Wyverns/Blademaster/ShadowHunter/Tinker?
Plus they could get bats instantly
