Ridiculously great player. Love RT
Guitar playing is impeccable
We want more!
We’ve got some more for you... stay tuned!
I’ll be waiting patiently.
Thank you mr Thompson, many years ago you put my attention to the guitars of George Lowden and since then I enjoy mine every day... can't wish for any better!
Love the magic combo of voice timbre and guitar tone. Great flatpicking too in a style I don't see much of. Thanks for this. Great music.
It's not flat picking - it's hybrid playing using plectrum and fingers.
Wonderful. A nice pick-me-up during the lockdown.
Yes.
One of my most favorite Richard Thompson songs. Great performance and good for us guitar players. Anyone know the tuning?

This is great. I’d love him to go back to a separately mic’d true acoustic guitar sound. His is reminiscent of some of the old solo Folk City stuff. Outstanding.
Seeing Richard play at a theatre last year, and again this year several times, livestreaming from his living room, I noticed his guitar had a significant crack in the top. I don't see it on this guitar here.
That would be his personal guitar, like a comfy old pair of slippers. This is showcasing his signature model.
@@wungabunga , he's mostly been gigging with the same guitar, a Lowden if I remember correctly, for years. I saw him play dozens of times in the 80's and 90's.
I wish Lowden Guitars were more affordable for the average joe like me
