I prefer the 800 over the 900. It looks more substantial and of course doesn't have the 900's TFT display which I'm not sure i could live with. Nice bike fella.
Although the 900 fixes a few things I don't like about the 800, eg air filter location, removable rear pegs, tubeless wheels, indicator location (I want to do this mode)
i have had both the 2018 Tiger 800 XCA and a 2021 Tiger 900 Rally Pro. While the Rally Pro might have been a tad better in almost every terms, except for the pronounced engine vibrations of the T-crank. This was a no go for me, now I waiting for a good opportunity to find a last gen Tiger 800 XCA again. That engine is soo buttery smooth. This satin green color looks so noble too...
Great vid bubba! I’ve had my 800xca for about a year now. It’s an absolute dream. Would love to see more Tiger centered content! Keep up the great work. Cheers from San Diego
6:40 The Triumph Tiger 1200 XCa also has the turn signals placed higher up. I was on a riding skills course with a fella who had a 2023 Tiger 1200 and he dropped it during a slow speed U-turn and busted the turn signal. So, the new position is no guarantee. Therefore, I'm not convinced relocating the turn signals to the higher position will work.
Used to own a tiger 800,went back to Yamaha and i regret it little bit... the fit and finish Triumph delivers makes you feel "special" and its worth the money 😊 I will probably start searching for a tiger again next year when the warranty on my Tracer expires 😅 love the looks of your Tiger btw!
Interesting! I quite fancy a go on the tracer 9 GT because I loved the engine in the MT-09. But agree the triumph finish is right up there with the best

Hi there. In regards to the exhaust, I have a 2018 plate of the same model as yours. Haven spoken to scorpion they said they didn’t make an exhaust to fit this age. Could you advise how you came about the can and if the older exhaust up to 2016 fits past that date?
Personally, I would have wired that heated clothing lead via a relay, switched with the rear light cable. That way it would switch off with the ignition, and it's a very simple job to do.
I am actually considering this bike over a 1250 gs. Looks good , sounds good , heated grips and seats cruise control and it is about 6-8 k cheaper than a pre owned gs. Any thoughts? Am I wrong? Should i still go for a gs
Hey MOTOBOB very cool easy explained mods from a non professional (But I Think You've Got A Bit Of Savvy ) can't wait to see more . First thing ive ordered is the indicator reloction . Can't wait fit it , hoping not to break the solder joint🤭
The Quadlock recommending a dampener for phones with optical stabilisation is a right pain as otherwise it's a great setup (I have it for my iPhone XS which has not broken... yet). Puts me off continuing to use it for my next phone as every time I ride I feel like it could be the day it breaks, but as you say the dampener is an EXTRA big chunk of plastic (I've got the wireless charger plate on there already making it bulky). I wish they'd have just built a dampening into the wireless charger.
I’m using a RAM mount and been riding with my iPhone 11 since I bought the bike (Tiger 800 xca) 2 years ago; never had a problem with the cameras of my phone. I even rode with the phone attached on my off road adventures! I guess I’ve been lucky.
Bit of advice please? Looking at getting a Tiger. Seen an XC I like. This is mainly going to be used all year around on the road. Is the XC ok? Thanks in advance
Barkbusters; crash bar sliders will give you protection for crash bars and even more clearance to the tank; front wheel sliders; first aid kit; rest stand enlarger; and that’s it. My protection it’s all paid with a stupid slow moving u turn 🤦🏻♂️
