    • @MoldyMacaroni

    • @Damotopia
      @Damotopia 9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

+James Stine Cloud based storage just isn't a viable option for a lot of places outside of north America though. I'm from New Zealand and I have prepaid phone, so no plan. I pay $30 a month and get unlimited texts and minutes, but only 750MB of data. The phone plans in so many places in the world have such fucking ridiculously high spiked prices for data that we NEED a lot of storage in the phone, and offering cloud data storage will only infuriate us more. Apple needs to ditch the 16GB model because charging that much for less storage than you get on a lot of entry level phones is disgusting. And before anyone says I'm hating, I have a 64GB iphone 6 myself

I had android devices and i had iphones. I take iphone every time. Why? Here is my conclusion. Firstly the os. I never liked android and it was too much complicated for no reason. For what they are doing phone with so many options when i never use them - i just dont need that level of complexity. IOS is stupidly simple and that makes it so good for me to everyday use. It feels like home - everything is where you would expect. Of course its not perfect but its better for me than android. The style - so the style is very personal thing. Many people have different style ideas so its very depending what do you like. I like minimalistic look of the iphone. It makes it elegant and and easy to combine with other styles. Its one of the fastests phones on the market so no complains over here. Camera is also one of the best. Screen - it is old and it could use more pixels but i dont see the big need for better resolution. its doing his job right. There are some Cons: First - battery life. Its pretty bad and i would really like to see bigger battery in the new model. And the price - its very expensive and apple should reduce it in order to increase profits. I really like android phones - they are so different and all run one os. But android with age is going slower and slower - ive never had this with the Ios. So there is why i prefer Iphones. And why im using one of them. Cheers ( I HAVE NEVER HATED ANDROID - TAKE IT EASY)

+Phill Rose And i dont know why there is so much hate between apple users and android. Why you hate somebody else just becasue he/shes is using other brand product. It is very puzzling why people act like mentally limited.

      Someone From The Internet
Yes, but it seems besides the CPU- which still isn't free from issues- Apple is sticking to the precedent of releasing a product with hardware that was being utilized 2-3 years ago. Apple will earn my business once they price their products at a realistic range and start integrating features that are objectively better for the consumer.

He likes his NVidia and I don't blame him they make quality products. Personally though it's like picking who's your favourite car company lol, they all fuck up, they all lie and they all are trying to make money so AMD/NVidia fanboying just gets stupid anyway you slice it.

Curlehh King By all means, he's entitled to his opinion on the matters, and he should bring up facts that are relevant. My issue isn't that he may or may not have brand-preference but rather that cost is never a factor for his reviews. When cost isn't a factor, he's pretty much mainstreamed, and he has been for a while. Of course, not that there's anything wrong with that.

I hate to say it Linus... but it IS rose gold? Its the name of the gold/copper alloy material and it has a specific colour. Like if you were to describe aluminium as "oh its just silver" or gold as "yellow metal" - clearly the colour is just attached to the material here.

It kinda feels like Apple is SLOOOOWLY getting back on track.
First the mac pro in 2013, which is already obsolete but at least was the first product targeted to professionals in years, OS X El Capitan that finally feels faster and has less bugs than yosemite, an iphone which finally is worth buying ecc...
The only thing they'd need to do is rewriting the macbook PRO hardware, to make it competitive and really suitable for professionals.
I only use OS X alongside windows, and don't own many apple products, but it feels apple is a 15% better than a couple of years ago.

Seized Cheese No iPhone is waterproof not even the 6s, it is for all intensive purposes water resistant and is unlikely to cause issues if submerged for a small amount of time, that in no way mean's that it's waterproof the apple warranty doesn't include any guarantee any protection if your device is water damaged.
You CAN you copytrans and such things to transfer music to Iphones, that part is correct, i didn't like using copytrans over media player or other programs i had on my pc at the time and apple say they won't be repairing any phones with software that gets corrupted by using non apple software not intended for use with apple products, but i guess we all take that risk when we buy almost any brand product anyway.

I happen to be one of the few of us who care about our privacy. iPhones use the last few percents of the battery juice (after the phones is turned off) to send precise GPS location to Apple, to monitor your movement. Google probally does that too, but god be damned that if i don't want the fucking thing to track me I'll just take the fucking battery out. I can't do that with iPhones, so it's a deal breaker.

+ant coz cause the rest of the world(most of it) is going to use USB type C....also everyone can now carry the same cable without people asking "hey you got an apple lighting cable?"
when no other device in the entire plane but apple devices, use that cable.
That's like making people install a new wall outlet because you decide that you wanted to make your product have a plug that is a shape of a hexagon shape, when the rest of the world uses the traditional wall outlet ports.
Also lighting cables cost $20 for a replacement... when android cables(micro a-b) cost no more than $3

I find it funny that my Samsung Galaxy S2 (mentioning that one because of how old it is) lets you do a panorama up, down, left, right, diagonal, whichever way, yet the Iphone still makes you do it right only. It's also funny that you still can't throw in an SD card for extra storage, yet, even my new Windows phone can do that. I also find it funny that you can't access the SIM card as easy you should. Sometimes when someone needs your SIM card in their phone, it would be nice to make the switch. I ALSO find it funny that you can't remove the battery, you know, in case it starts dying and you need to replace it but don't want to pay an arm and a leg to have Apple do it. I ALSO FIND IT FUNNY that you can use a Samsung device (with an IR sensor on top, comes with the new ones) as a T.V remote. I will admit, it sometimes gets useless, but with an IR sensor, that means anything is possible...
But I laugh at that, I don't know what you guys laugh at.

This was my first time owning an iPhone (coming from Android) and Apple really hit the nail on the 6s/6s+. Other than the display resolution, it's pretty much flawless. Gotta give them a round of applause for stepping their game up.

ive dropped my iphone 4 in water and it did well...but imo the 3gs is the ultimate iphone. The 4 and 4s were much less durable, the 4 in particular had a ton of problems even though it did cement what we know as the modern smartphone. I would run a 3gs again honestly, if not for the fact that I want to run current apps and use modern micro cameras. I'm going for the z5 compact. 3gs for lief tho

I've always been an Android user, I've had premium flagship phones like the Note 2 and 3, never touched or even thought about an iPhone because to me the phone itself was a dissapointment versus what you could get with a flagship Android device. I ordered an iPhone 6S Plus last week (end of contract on my Note 3) because I now feel like the iPhone is powerfull enough and actually worth it for me to switch over and try iOS out. I don't have the phone yet it should come in tomorow or monday at the latest. I've seen mostly positive reviews from the 6S but this one coming from you anchors any doubts I had about if I had made the correct choice. I'm now more anxious than ever to get the phone and start my very 1st experience with iPhone and iOS. Thanks Linus for this review!

I am a thousand percent sure you know this Linus but, reduced motion mode, battery saver mode and disable background refresh make the battery of both the watch and the phone so much better. Plus I prefer reduced motion because waiting on animations is meh I prefer the most minimalist possible experience.

After using for almost 2 months now, I have to say this is the best one yet. Insanely fast, with a solid build and awesome features. Size took a few weeks to get used to after owning the 4" and 3.5" versions on past contracts. The back of the phone is ugly as sin but I always have used a case, so a non issue. I opted for the 64GB in Space Grey, and would highly recommend it. 👍🏼👍🏼

It's really been an honour and a pleasure to see linus media group excel and expand over the years, I remember when he had about 20,000 subs and it was just him. informative reviews right from the beginning and had this raw flare to them, really taught me most of what I know today. Thanks Linus for using this platform for all its worth, being consistent and continually learning. Too bad you live on the other side of Canada. I'd love to shake your hand. 👍

The thing about the 6s and majority of iPhones is that they always have great cameras and easy to learn even 2 year old can use them easily and THEY ALWAYS WORK EVERYDAY I swear I have a S6edge and a 6s and I love how fast the edge is but I swear sometimes it seems like it can't even handle its own power it kicks me out of apps all the time too frustrating my 6s is always smooth it may be limited on customization but it works efficiently 24/7

Im a huge Android person and I have convinced a lot of people to stay away from Apple products simply cus there were much better products out there.. with this year's iPhone 6S that feeling changed. This is an iPhone that I would actually buy myself to be used as a secondary device. And yeah this is the true successor to the iPhone 4.
