Why don't we have Thunderbolt 5 capable devices as of now?
I wanted this kind of technology
Please add Linux support
seeing more and more linux related comments brings me joy
In the early days of PC's we used a Laplink (serial) cable to connect 2 PC's to each other. Later on networks improved and this facility died out.
It sounds like sharing a GPU between a PC and a laptop is not too far away.😊
Have you heard about eGPU in lat 10 on so years? 😅
@@livemadseason but that still just a gpu not a pc
😊
🩵🤍
Everything old gets new again. Laplink and pcAnywhere special transfer cables? Nope
Didn’t think thunder bolt was still being used.
It is the standard for Mac OS computers and IPad Pro. It is the standard for Intel based laptops. The only time Thunderbolt is not the standard on PC is with AMD. Thunderbolt is also the underlying technology enabling USB4.
Intel should have release Meteor Lake/Core Ultra with native integrated support for Thunderbolt 5.
Thunderbolt 5 and Thunderbolt Share will be great for gaming handhelds and ultraportable laptops.
Why don't you guys think of this early er list of things
Imagine share monitor transfer files diagnos PC to PC
And it's not about just buildings things how to repair them
