Man that first game was looking so grim but you won at the very last second. Nothing was going your way, didn't draw cards you desperately needed, didn't get cards from your PokeGear, but in the end you never gave up and won because of it.
The deck itself won in the Seniors of the EUIC used by Gabriel Fernandez. And both of the finalists tap the tables after gabe activates the awakening drum. Its was intense against zard ex
Thank you for making this video, I built Ancient Box right after I pulled the cards needed off of a Prerelease event and a booster box, but I was losing hope because of bad draws, watching you clutch that first match gave me a second hope for this deck
in game 2 vs the vulpix deck couldn't you select ultra ball on the explorer's guidance to discard the two ancient pokemon to win the game instead of grabbing the other cards?
The reason he's doing 300 damage is cause he benched Coby which makes your pokemon deal 30 extra damage to Dark types. If he had used Boss on the Pidgeot EX he would've done only 270 damage cause it's not a Dark type.
He should’ve put Koraidon in the active spot first and hit Charizard and get Koraidon knockout for one prize then the next turn put Roaring Moon in stove and Boss’s Order Pidgeot and swims for game. That’s if the opponent doesn’t have Boss’s Order or Counter Catcher Koraidon for Roaring Moon which he did. I would’ve took that chance personally.
Plan would've been to retreat hit with one koraidon and Sada the roaring. But truth to be told I think the reason stands to the zard player for holding turo for so long.
In that last game cant you wait for charizard to ko koraidon, bench moon with nest ball, sada, retreat the second koraidon, attach from hand and then counter catcher the charizard with 120 damage on it? Or was moon not doing enough to one-shot at that point? Another option was before using the explorer's instead boss the charmander, bench with nest ball so you go down to 1 card on deck, ko with koraidon and next turn draw and rod two ancient pokemon, sada, bench and counter catcher bibarel. Can't blame you for not getting it while playing tho, kinda complicated and when whatching a video this things are way easier to catch.
Trekking shoes seems like a good addition to this deck too since you can discard some useless ancient cards right out that you wouldnt use in certain matchups like flutter mane etc + its a draw card so its pretty decent.
I have a love/hate relationship with Awakening Drum. Drawing cards is amazing, but there are times where those cards are just better off in the discard pile via a Pokestop roll. I’ve enjoyed more success just using Prime Catcher as my Ace Spec.
I wonder about Cyllene for this deck. It can return Pal Pad, or the Ancient Drum, or Super Rod, or Sada directly if you haven’t found your Pal Pad yet…
@@LittleDarkFury oh my bad😅 you were right 😁 and by the way, it was you, that made me begin to play Pokemon TCG. I am in the mewtwo league now. And I’m only using your decks, because you are the goat 🐐
@jamesworld4931 Couldn't he have counter catcher the pidgeot for ko since you would have had enough ancient cards in the discard pile? Since he had explorer, roaring moon and sada?
@@jamesworld4931I think he means at the end of the game.. He had a moon and dark energy. If the next card was moon he could sada for 1 energy and the last energy would be dark retreat into the moon and counter catcher pidgeot for the win. Or just conter catch the damaged Charizard. It all depended on the last card.
Played Roaring moon ex into Temporal Forces. I hate Artazon. Pokestop is hit or miss but, it at least helps fill up your discard pile with Ancient box cards I also moved Flutter Mane to 2. Most of the time, its a dead draw and u just dump it with Earthen Vessel Greninja is definitely the mvp.
Wouldn’t you have won if you drew into the moon on that last turn? You bench it, sada a dark energy on, draw into the last dark energy, attach for turn, retreat koraidon and counter catcher the damaged Charizard?
Last game was a heart breaker so close yet so far. Even with that huge prize lead. Also turo has become a staple in most decks so i would always expect Bird zard to have it
Anyone notice how in game 3 he had the kill on pigeot with boss+roaring moon and he wiffed it? I'm so freaking confused. Like???? Hello???? This was before the turo play
I decided to combine palkia v star, radiant greninja, walking wake ex, Koraidon, and baby roaring moon together to create the perfect storm of pure ancient chaos that LDF can't look away from. This will also include Brute Bonnet for its ability.
I don't think the deck is strong. It loses to Iron hands, Cinccino and Charizard, probably 100% of the time. That is 3 decks running rampant in the meta right now. So - waste of currency.
Lmfao he was doing 300 damage, had a boss in hand and had not played a supporter and he decides to hit Charizard for 250 just so he can get healed the turn after. Wtf did I just watch
I'm looking forward to getting some new ace specs, I feel like they're powerful enough in some cases to lift archetypes into playability.
yeah were getting some in twilight masquerade soon
Yeah more crazy ones coming out next set

i dont know why but i think the roaring moon dudunsparce is better than this
Why?
Ive been this box with 2 moon ex an it been working great. Best of both worlds. Just dont put the ex in play if you dont need it.
@@DoubleD04 what if you open it? lol
That’s not a single prize deck.
The deck does play a 1 of penny
really like how this deck plays out. Cool to see a deck working that does not use EX cards
At 27:00 off that guidance you had the game win ko on arceus if you took the two earthen vessels and dropped 2 pokemon from it
27:00 missed lethal if we take the Ultra Ball and discard 2x Roaring Moon. We'd hit the clean 220 for the OHKO on Arceus V.
in game 2 vs the vulpix deck couldn't you select ultra ball on the explorer's guidance to discard the two ancient pokemon to win the game instead of grabbing the other cards?
why you dont boss the pidgeot into the active position and hit him with 300 Damage with baby moon? or did i miss something

I didnt have game on pidgeot because cobalion said 300 on charizard so i was still doing 300 thats why i said i was 10 off

Updated thoughts on the deck list since Jake Ewart's 2nd place at Orlando?

Could be okay
51:40 if you top-deck the Roaring Moon, Sada gives you the energy and Counter Catcher the damaged Charizard ex?
My man has both attackers powered up and throws the kill to get a third attacker 😂 I get the logic but funny it cost the kill
Yeah playing it safe punished me
BRO 46:55 could you win the game by boss the Pidgeot from the bench😭
Nope it only said 300 because of cobalion

is it possible to see the seniors division results on limitless tcg or is only the masters results there?

I may try your list because the two that I tried, based on top Japanese list, were just rough
Could you sneak a Heavy Ball in there in case greninja is prized?
2 Pokestops should do sir I think I will try to build this deck thanks sir Little Dark Fury!!!
Why didn’t u boss the pigeot and ko it with Roaring moon instead of charizard in your last game..? 😗
All the roaring moon cards are good
Theres a lot of missed play, showed how strong this deck when you 100% in the game, love it!
this deck needs an attack like iron thorns it would go so well with the roaring moon
Last game you could have bossed the pegiot for the k.o instead of hitting the charizsrd for 300
Anyone notice how in game 3 he had the kill on pigeot with boss+roaring moon and he wiffed it? I'm so freaking confused. Like???? Hello???? This was before the turo play
Would boss attacking pideot at the end and then using countercatcher again have worked?
U actually had game because u could KO the Pidgeot with Boss at the end unless i missed u playing a supporter beforehand, u were doing 300
Cobalion made it say 300 damage on zard i didnt have game on pidgeot
I think you put (F) instead of (E) for the final 2 energy in your list.
no its fighting energy
Ancient box won EUIC in the seniors division
Is that because the deck is good, or Gabriel is just so much better than everyone else? Another one made top 8 as well I guess, for what it's worth

Man, dunno what it is with TCGlive putting all of four sada in the bottom quarter of the deck
Think your issues are connection issues. I have never had issues.
Deck is super fine. Cannot win anything, but really you need 280 damage on endgame... Really need 280 damage from most OHKO EX
