- One of the best catfish rigs for bank fishing, I use it in lakes ponds and rivers and on my kayak. My favorite!
All you need is peg floats, swivels, monofilament liter line, circle hooks, and a knot protector, disc sinkers or anti roll sinkers. You can make these in bulk at home and store them in sandwich bags for easy setups if you break off.
In this video I will show you how to tie a knotless knot and a fisherman’s knot. Also I will show you a rig for places you may get hung up towards the end.
This rig is awesome for bank fishing!

Buen vídeo compañero 👌👍
Thanks buddy
Hey thx sniffles 🤘
Yeah man👊🏻
I really like the knotless knot. started using it last year.
Me too. Easy to tie! I pre make all my rigs before I get to the lake now. Make my life so much easier
Just started using the knotless knot and love it. Good idea about prepping the tackle before fishing. Keep the tips coming man and people will be thankful.
Great and informative! Especially for a newbie like myself. 👍
I appreciate it!
Did anybody notice the car drive by sounding damn good at 5min34??? Thanks for the video. Been catfishing my hole life and am just now finding the brand whisker seeker. Been doing everything wrong but still catching them. Can’t wait to use these techniques.
🤣 I don’t live to far from a dragstrip and my neighbor always testing! Check out Trophy cat tackle also! Use code Treelimb10% for a discount also! It’s all I use anymore man! I believe in all their gear! Thanks for watching!
@@Treelimbfishing That’s good to know. Thanks for the tackle tip. We need more ppl spreading knowledge about their fishing techniques/habits/gear and all that good stuff. Looking forward to binge watching your channel as well as future videos.
@@WhatsthePOINT_EDC thanks dude! I’ve been on a break but you just motivated me to get back at it! Shoot me a message on Instagram or Facebook under Wayne Cross! I’d like to send you a few things if you don’t mine
@@Treelimbfishing yea man I’ll do that. Glad you got the motivation to do these videos. Ppl need good entertainment and information during these days. Nothing like being able to watch some good fishing content when I can’t hit the river myself. Honestly I would love to start my own channel.
@@WhatsthePOINT_EDC thanks again buddy
Great video man!
Thanks man!
Nice rigs bro
Thanks I really appreciate it 🤙🤙
You should do a video on how to mold those disc sinkers!
Ight just for you! Lol
@@Treelimbfishing 😂
Do you use this rig on rivers, from the bank (shore) or just in lakes?
I use them in the lakes and rivers
@@Treelimbfishing Doesnt it get tangled when u cast it or its about the tehnique? And....doesnt the water current on the river push donw on the peg....making it...somewhow "useluess" ? Just trying to understand the mechanics behind it, in river water, from the bank casting. Thank you for your opinion!
@@Baltacul I don’t have any issues casting it and sometimes in rivers I use a shorter leader. I try and fish in the calm spots on the river also . That’s usually where the fish are held up in my experience here in the Carolinas
@@Treelimbfishing i fish the Danube river in Romania. Its big. But i know what you mean...i cand find these kind of spots here too. Thank you for your answer. I will try the peg this season.
@@Baltacul awesome let me know how you do!
what the advantage of make ur own leaders vs. just tieing everthing to the main line?
Your main line isn’t as good for abrasion from catfishes mouth and the small teeth patches they have. It gives you the ability to run a 20-30lb main line so your able to cast farther distances also. I’d say that’s the main advantages
Do you find you catch more on the three way rig with the fixed weight or the the one with the sliding sinker? Do you think they feel the weight on the 3 way amd let go of the bait?
I definitely have a better hookup ratio this way. But sometimes they feel it and drop it also. It all depends on the time of year and how they are feeding around here in what I use
You gotta do a video of how you’re trolling catfish on the kayak. I have zero experience on that lol
I’ll make one when I get back from Santee next week
