South Korea and Koreans remember that it was thanks to the dedication and sacrifice of Canada and the Canadian Forces that they were able to break free from Japanese colonial rule and become a developed nation after the devastation of the Korean War.
We will forever remember the dedication and sacrifice of Canada and the Canadian Armed Forces. Thank you.

I came to Canada 4 months ago, and today I just learned about the history of Remembrance Day. It was an honour for me to know what they have done for the country. They gave people freedom. Some people may forget, and some may not. Today, another year has passed, and their sacrifices will not be meaningless.

We newcomers recently moved here in Canada . That's why I had no knowledge about the Remembrance Day in Canada. before. But today is my first day, at ESL learning center, to have a lot of knowledge about it.This is crucial to remember the sacrifices of those who died in the line of duty for the protection and freedom of millions of people. I really commemorate all of them due to their meaningful sacrifices.

This day means the most to me. I had 5 family members from Canada and SA fighting in the second world war. I know people now who have fought and served to protect our freedoms, which some suffer from physical and psychological ailments. All i ask is that you take a couple minutes out of your day to remember all of those who have risked their lives for us

This video impressed me ! I knew “Memorial Day“ when I came Canada on 11th November,2019.My daughter ‘s school sent Email to tell what happened in the day !All students should keep silence to salute these soldiers who lost their lives in the line of duty.It was first time I knew this poem “In Flanders Fields”…and I understood why local people wear with the replica poppies ,it means remember with respect for veterans ,they deserve our commemoration forever!

Remembrance Day should be celebrated all over the world, not just in western countries. We all have or had that special someone who offered their lives for our freedom and we salute them.

I am very proud of Canadians for they celebrate Rememberance Day on Nov 11.On that day most of the Canadians wear replica poppies to remember soldiers who died in the line of duty and donate the money for veterans.By the time they play the poem “In Flanders Fields” by John McRae who found first poppy in dug graves. They sacrifice their lives so that we can live now free. All countries remember their veterans nowadays.

    This is an excellent piece.
For accuracy, John McCrae died in 1918 while the war was still going on, not in 1919 after the Armistice.

Every year on November 11, Canadians observe silence to commemorate and honour veterans who sacrificed their lives. I was astonished when I came to know that it sells approximately 20 million poppies yearly to raise money for veterans.

One slight inaccuracy---John Mcrae died in 1918, not 1919. Otherwise a first-class video.

Left to the Liberals and they'd ban this day from being celebrated as it should be by all Canadians. Hero's made it possible for you to have the life you have. Don't dare forget that or soil the gift they gave you by allowing their memory to fade!!

That has nothing to do with Canada and in the context of this presentation, your comment is rubbish.
The people of the Middle East on all sides cause the never ending war to ever end.
      You are all to blame.
