Agree with nearly everything you said ,the one thing that raised my eyebrows was when you said people don't use real world testing to judge Jimbos they just throw a heap of chemicals at a panel they have stuck in their garage and say it fails, but isn't that the very same thing Jimbo does to every sealant, detail spray and coating he tests then says they are rubbish if they fail?
I can't speak for others and the testing they do, but none of that is similar to what an actual car endures on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. It always baffled me when they do this , i guess it gives an idea of chemical resistance.
I live in Florida and I have applied it to at least 7 vehicles that sit out in the heat rain etc. most vehicles I have seen every 2 weeks and other once a month. I haven’t had this stuff last past a month and half, before it breaks down. I agree 100% real world testing is key. I won’t buy it again and all his tests are torture test he rarely if ever does real world testing. Heat plus rain I believe kills this product IMO. It has already reach 90 here. I had hard water spots etch in after two weeks too.
Its probably just fine. Its all a matter of perspective I believe. For example, I swear by TW Ceramic Spray because of what ots done to my own car. Im about to do a video on my car 1 year later. Only Rinseless and Malco Ceramic Spray. It still looks fabulous. So I believe everyone has a preference and thats where people get crazy with their "testimonials" of it.
I’ve had good results. Super easy to apply and waiting on a one month review myself. But honestly , even if it’s slightly off. Just apply another coat. That’s it.
@@DETAILSofficial the public is misinformed and need to just simply enjoy the detail. Remember the days of carnuba waxing. Damn. And that lasted weeks. At best. Lmao
Most of the Sio2 sprays are the same, that's why we are highlighting this one, it actually works, Most are nothing more than a spray wax that gives maybe 2 weeks of protection
so far it has passed my weekend warrior test, one wash last week from sitting in an airport parking lot for a week. Gloss is still there. BTW I am in Florida
I’ve been using jimbo product on all my clients cars, literally the easiest spray protectant I’ve ever used l, no streaks even on dull piano black pillars, no issues whatsoever. Price point isn’t even a factor. If you can’t afford his gallon doing professional detailing… something’s wrong with your finances.
Jimbo's was a fail on my 2 cars. Couldn't make it through driving in the rain and 1 wash with foam canon and then contact wash. Ethos Resist is way more durable. I'm done with the Jimbo's brand. And yes, I paid full price for my bottle and it's heading for the trash!
@@DETAILSofficial Yep. I even brought this to Jimbo's attention. Could be why there's a new formula? Doesn't really matter to me....I don't care enough. This pushed me to try Ethos Resist which I'm very happy with....it's my new "go to" ceramic/graphene spray.
I'm average normal guy. I get paid to detail cars. I bought into the hype. I have my Cherokee ceramic with DIY coating. Put on in November. Failing. Then. Clay toweled and used decon to prep to see if revive. Nothing. Then used Jimbos. After one wash. The hood had no lubricity one door panel had some. But it's garbage to me. I live in the south and wash my jeeps and patrol car at least weekly if not bi weekly. I stopped watching his videos. He's too much hype. Mine did the same as IMJOSH did in his video basically
Invisible glass is awesome no matter how old the bug smear. If it's thick just spray on abd a little scratch with your nails d falls right off. No streaks at all.
Product is too expensive for what it is. Plus this video proves nothing. We are expected to believe that’s Jimbos on the cars? Plus if I ceramic coated a car then they’ll do what you’re showing without Jimbos😂
@@SalfromeDETAILS brother I can name 3 products far better and cheaper than Jimbos….Ethos Resist, DIY Ceramic Gloss, Apex BC3….plus a ceramic coated car doesn’t need topping every month. That sorta defeats the purpose of a coating.
@@SalfromeDETAILS😂😂I bet you would, I’m sure Jimbo sent his to you free to try. No need though I’ve already tried them all…except Jimbos because $35 is highway robbery and he should be ashamed of himself. To each his own though, you want to pay more for a product that is showing it’s not as good so be it. The detail public will be the final judge regardless what we biased detailers say and so far Jimbos has too many complaints.
That's exactly what we did, we used something other than jimbos, took time to record multiple vehicles to trick you into buying it. Because we just like doing shady stuff. Come on now, you should know us better than that. And if you don't watch more of our videos and you'll see.
I’ve had good results on mine and my wife’s vehicle but they are ceramic coated so that might play into. Jimbo is a good dude and I bought it to support his launch. I will test it further on non coated cars to see how it holds up.

I agree 💯, he does the same thing to every chemical he gets. If it doesn't work it doesn't work simple

@@DETAILSofficialmy experience is the polar opposite of yours. I’ll have a video up with a one month update tonight.

It's starting to warm up in Cali, interested in seeing how/if it holds up. Thank you for sharing Barry
As a detailer, this is now on my cars. Because it is so easy to apply and provides phenomenal shine, gloss and smooth. It is #1
It's good stuff
Thanks for the video and honesty. It’s refreshing for sure!
Thank you for the support, we just want people to see how it actually works

ive used this 5 or 6 times now... i like the product...
We are digging the protection so far also, thanks for sharing Barry
11:54 NOPE! Don't get it twisted - Jimbo was doing the panel torture tests & not the real-world tests!
Ok
I am going to try out P&S Defender this weekend. It will be my first time using it. I haven't tried any Jimbos product before.

So you switching off of Defender bro? Cmon man!! Keep it 💯
Still testing and we have to calculate the long-term cost/benefit analysis since the price is higher
@detailsauto Love it. Spoken like a true business man. The math is easy on this one. Awesome job on the video.
Looks like it did its job I'm testing now to homie. Another one 💥💥🙏🏽💪🏾

lots of mixed reviews with this stuff, thank you for sharing. we will be updating again soon in another month or so
Did you use a water spot remover also?
After the winter your coating is probably clogged. Use a Waterspot remover to release the minerals from the surface, exposing the coating again.
Don't have water spots but worth a try
Its a big scam
But is it?
What do you guys use to get the bugs off?
Pre treatment with heavy cleaner
Invisible glass is awesome no matter how old the bug smear.
If it's thick just spray on abd a little scratch with your nails d falls right off.
No streaks at all.
Dryer sheet dipped in wash suds and lightly move away the bugs and bug guts with ease.
I like the stuff so far.
We are really liking it.
Regardless of whether the product is amazing or horrible Jimbo has become completely insufferable during his videos lately
😆

They just don't really care
Nothing stand up against collinite imo
If it works
