What was important to us in the making of this film is that we told their story. To tell their story without embellishing or adding elements that would’ve been disingenuous. Rules of horror - no matter how scary and evil it gets family doesn't stop sleeping in their own rooms rather than sleeping together
And no matter how scary voices coming they will never switch on the lights before looking for where the voices are coming from
They be keep searching without switchinh on the lights
Rules haved to be applied
It's especially true if you have innocent children. Make sure they sleep alone and never consider sending them to stay with relatives while you deal with the situation.
My favorite is...our house is haunted and we're in danger...I think I'll have a bath/shower.

My son added me to his TH-cam account because I was going to do it myself. It’s the greatest thing ever. No commercials ever and TH-cam continues even when you change apps. You can still hear it. I definitely recommend it.

lol someone's gullible. ironic though after my saying "oh of course it is, because nothing is scary unless it supposedly really happened" when that came on screen, but i guess it works on people like you.
sadly the irl story was more likely substance abuse problems, hence all the liquor everywhere, while people were too busy being silly about demons to get her some actual real help.
You must be pretty guliable and nieve if you think that this is a true story
As christians this movie, is really teaching us volumes. We must be very careful what we allow in our spirits because the devil is like a roaring lion seeking whom to devour . Lets be very watchful and prayerful too

Amen to that! You find voodoo stuff and/or an ouija board (etc) and don’t immediately get rid of that stuff, or actually even use it, you’re opening doors and asking for (demonic) trouble. Born again Christians can’t get possessed but we can be oppressed by evil! Ephesians 6 - “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers, and the rulers of this present darkness…”

I fell asleep while watching this. Woke up and fell asleep again. Woke up, then fell asleep again. But I've gotten too far, to not watch it to the end.

The exorcist sounded and acted authentic . It usually doesn't conclude in one session , but this originated from within the house not the person. Kudos on the exorcism scene .

I didn't think this was gonna be good, but I enjoyed it very much. It wasn't the typical possession movie and had a lot of suspense and thrills without being bloody or killling people.

I have to explain something to some who may not understand "BASED ON TRUE EVENTS", etc., what this actually means is the movie maker can pick one sentence, paragraph, or the whole story, sometimes even many stories put together by said storyteller and those involved, i.e. friends, family, that can also add to the story, to make these "BASED ON TRUE EVENTS" movies. I really enjoyed the film. The mom creeped me out. Acting was solid, the cinematography was very good, and I like Father Bob! I'm a huge fan. It is slow, but appropriately paced for the story told. I feel anything more would take it away from being a grounded and haunting tale. I highly recommend it.

My rule is the house have to have some kind of light on in the dark. People need to explore when things first start to get too creepy. If everyone goes through something strange and your neighbors even told U weird stories about the last family. Only get comfortable if U can tell everything is normal. Make sure nothing creepy is happening to anyone. When changes happen U know didn't before then it's time to get together and pay attention. Scary movies wouldn't exist though if they did everything we would do if we lived in the house. Lol Enjoy the movie Thanks for the choice U shared. 2021

The Priest and the Demon knew each other all too well for just the Priest to do that alone again. He should’ve known he needed more powerful Demonologist to do it with him. That’s y it (Demon) played him and the family at the end. I hated the fathers cluelessness and simpleminded ways 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️

This is not a joke! Evil exists, and demons do affect our lives.
It's happening somewhere..
My father would not allow a ouija board into the house when we were young and forbade us to ever play with one. When I was an adult, he would not lend me the use of his chain saw though he would lend me every other tool. He died long ago from old age. To this very day, I will not use a chain saw. Call it superstition or sentimental respect. Don't tempt fate more than necessary and certainly not for trivial entertainment.

I am not superstitious, but I do honestly beleive there is some truth about a ouiji board being evil .
