Will This be the end of bricks? Let me know what you guys think about these speed changes. P.S. Someone asked if the new engine mechanic also works for legs and YES, it does work, Geriddas can go up to 75KM/h Now which seemed a bit weird and a bit too fast imo. That also means that it works for tracks which is Very Niiiiiiiice
It would not have mattered for the point of this test. The hovers would still be the limiting factor as the Jackie does not increase movement part top speed. Movement part top speed and cabin top speed are 2 different things.
@JBRider they are entirely not viable right now, because anything oneshots them and the weapons a light wheel build would use to, for example counter a mastodon, like breaker, are really bad. The patch gives all of them slightly more speed, but because the engines lose speed bonus, they'll not be much faster than they are right now.
The easy change to speed was simply change engine power or tonnage, so bricks cant put 8 wheels and still move around... As i recall every wheels spends energy from the engine... just change the energy so it isnt viable to use x amount of wheels... They're idea of "speed" change only shifts the problems from bricks to hoovers, thats all... Unfortunally its the return of the unreachable and unkillable hoovers all over again... Its even worse with the damn controller god aim assist everywhere these days. 3:30 Thats another of a big issue in Crossout... to much epic cabins, very few rare and special ones. Also to much light cabins all around, we need more heavy cabins.
A lot of bricks use titans on the front and back, and just everything in the middle is epic light wheels. pretty sure this change will be minimal for that purpose since bricks hold w anyways
True, but this new mechanic is specifically for movement parts with a speed limit. Jackie does not increase speed on movement parts only the car and the tracks/ hovers have a hard speed cap regardless of your cabin
Nope it used to be medium a medium cabin and it used to already have a top speed of 100km/h here is the article: www.reddit.com/r/Crossout/comments/13jc4fc/upcoming_torero_change/?rdt=34671
Well this is gonna be great for me, my brick build uses tracks, so it'll actually be faster after these changes. :D The acceleration nerf will affect it, but my brick's acceleration is already extremely low. In all seriousness though, I do think it's good that the devs are trying to address the "speed inflation" as they call it. I've seen similar issues ruin other games. I just hope they can fix it without resurrecting those tiny sideways hover builds that used to dominate low PS.
U know why they doin this right? The bug builds had to actually use some skill to catch up to some builds, they cant just drive straight at you atm to catch up, u actually had a chance to get away n kill them...i know this to b a fact i follow pc and console, top teams n i heard both of them talking bout it...n the devs only run bugs soooo, yea🗑️
@@ethanbradberry5224 Spider legs are ok, I meant the ones that looks like Mechwarrior's legs they are too OP they can bear high weight, are fast and are extremely versatile. There no use using normal wheels.

Probably the end of the heavy bricks. The medium ones might still work.
Return of the pancake hovers and ugly bricks might be done now
You have to have the nodes of Jackie touching engine and cab to boost hover
9:20 you have to attach the Jackie to the engine and the cab 🤣🤣 oh wait you realised 🤣🤣👍
You need to connect the Jackie to the engine
@junjiezerocool3307 also tried that, but it didn't work
The Jackie needs to be connected to BOTH the cabin and the engine for full effect
@@JBRider oh I see
lol, jb noob moment 😄

The Doom will be better then the Fortune until the devs have enough cash to go to Vegas.
Then they will nerf it to the ground again
@@ristorantanen5769 💯
yeah definitely. ill enjoy it while it lasts though.
Why are they buffing hovers and nerfing wheels. Hovers are already op.
Smells like hover meta. A little sad that light wheel builds are not getting any love
what's wrong with light wheel builds?

@@mnu_tenobaalThe new wheels are perfect for small wheeled builds but yeah as a cockpit player i agree.
The pack the Doom is from is also on test server, so you can try it out in your garage. It is waaaay better than Fortunes.
Great content, thanks for the info. Keep it up JB. 👍
how does golden eagle doesnt have a perk? i use it on meat grinders with its + maximum speed perk??
it will get a different perk but it's not ready yet

The jackie needs to mounted to the engine and cab to get the bonuses
@@dwayneendress7827 no it doesn't, for top speed its enough to connect it to the cabin...
can engines increase the speed of legs then?
I keep getting matched with a mech user that just trolls their team by ramming with boosters.
A big heavy durable brick shouldn’t have been chasing down a light nimble build in the first place anyway so good on them
I don't know why they would buff hovers like this after nerfing them a few patches ago.
The turn speed is to get rid of the bricks with the, uh omg, titan wheels, make em not able to do that hairpin turn

Time to stockpile some arguses, since they will counter new OP toy devs are going to release.
Do ml200 legs get affected with the engine change?
@@P4ybills yes, they will be able to go 55 with fin whale. I think pegasus will stay the best cabin for them tho
Jackie give speed in test and real battle but no in numbers

Yes, JB is right. the Torero cabin was introduced as a medium cab initially. It was recently changed to a light cabin.
@JBRider yeah thats two years ago, why you're wondering in this video?^^
@@RelikXO "recently" 😂😂😂😂
@knochenkotzer2461 Well, considering I've been playing for 8+ years, the changes were introduced in summer 2023, so I'm gonna say, "Recently."

Yeah this seems fine to me as well. Most players are already sick of bricks
The speed inflation that they put into the game in the first place? There’s a reason it took them *so long* to address the fast brick issue lol.
Bye bye, bricks. Time to make way for a new meta for players to sink their money into lol
Buff docker

OMG why in the world they did not nerf the fvcking mechanical legs !!!! This is CROSSOUT not a wannabe MechWarrior Online.
You mean the heli mode standing legs, or the spider legs. If it's spider legs your on drugs, they are worse than augers even after the buffs
