Tekla Structures 2019i - Create 3D renders and animations

For Tekla Structures 2019 the Trimble Connect visualizer is available from the Tekla Warehouse and runs as a separate application. However, from Tekla Structures 2019i the Visualizer is available directly from within the software. You can visualize selected parts of your model or all parts of the model. This video demonstrates how to realistically render and animate the structural model. A perfect tool for creating compelling sales and project presentations.

Is there a way to include reference models in the rendering? Also a way to create a rendered model that client can view with a free viewer program would be very helpful.

You can include reference models in the rendering if you access the Visualizer from within Trimble Connect rather than from within Tekla Structures. In Trimble Connect for Windows you can install a Visualizer plug-in which will activate the Visualiser for use within Trimble Connect. So if you export your model with reference files from Tekla Structures into Trimble Connect and then access the Visualizer within Trimble Connect for Windows, the reference models are rendered as well as the Tekla Structures model.
In Trimble Connect the steps are:
- Download Trimble Connect Visualizer from the Featured Apps page : web.connect.trimble.com/#/store
- Open Trimble Connect for Windows.
- Once you have both installed on your computer, you can find a button to launch Visualizer from within the Models list.
