Great review. The only criticism I would give is that neither have a carbon fiber plate. They each have a plate, but they are not carbon fiber. The high end racing shoes have actual carbon fiber to give you maximum energy return, unlike these super trainers which have a type of plastic for their plates. The plastic plates help by giving some energy return and they serve to stabilize the Peba or Pebax foams in the shoes. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for the comment, I really appreciate it. You have been super helpful. I went back and looked and you are correct regarding the Hoka Mach X. It has a Pebax plate, not a carbon fiber… However on the other hand, the Kinvara Pro does indeed have a Carbon Fiber plate…atleast that’s what is advertised on Saucony, “3/4-length carbon plate” Nevertheless..I completely understand your points and value your input. Thank you.
You are correct about the Kinvara pro. I thought it had a pebax plate or a nylon plate like the Speed 3. Nevertheless. Great review! I cant wait to get the Mach X. I'll probably have to wait until my Mach 5s wear out though or my wife will disown me. @@JoelLong
