G'day, My father worked on various construction projects in that area. As a result we only went to the snow a few times as kids. It would be when we had visiters from Melbourne come for a weekend visit. The high country does look amazing with fresh snow everywhere. During summer you could try camping at the base of Mt Bogong and there is a trek to the summit that can be done as a day trip.
Yes it is very pretty, winter 2022 was a great snow year, particularly pretty. I'd like to get to mount Bogong some time but wont get there this year nuw I don't think. I've one free Saturday and that's it😖
@NoSecondSeason Hi there. I guess you're talking about the Eastern States of Australia as we only get snow ❄️ when it gets into the -centigrade temperatures & that's only in the very southern part of my state. Lol at the thought of that. ❤️❤️❤️😁🇦🇺
Thankyou for this I need to find a better heater, then my large gas bottle heater, as we cook on those square butane cookers in summer we always have at least 3 boxes of cannisters, and as you seem to like the heater, I am going to get one for us, plus a quality co monitor. Have subbed, not because I don't know what to do in the bush, I have been camping for 50 years, I just like to see what other people do when camping, and you are doing it okay.
Thanks for subbing🙌. I hope you like the heater, it's very small but seems to put out a good amount of heat. I did the same, saw another TH-camr using one!
A very interesting and amusing video! By the way I would believe that you forgot to bring your sponge pants whatever they are. I assume they are for soaking up the wee that you are too cold to dispose of in the normal way. I was thinking that you would have been a great Olympian in something or other but after watching this, I'm not too sure !
You had your skis on the wrong feet. If you look closely at the bindings, you'll see there is a left foot one and a right foot one. You had your skis on the wrong way round. As a result of this, your skis did not track properly.
Can you even navigate away from a highway. Mt Hotham is not in NSW, it’s in Victoria. If you live in NSW then OK and just say you traveled to Mt Hotham in Victoria. Please do not venture more 7:36 than a few meters away from a major road. Amateurs are a danger to everyone in these conditions.
Yes I realised my mistake and put text on screen stating it was Victoria, if you care to watch. I agree, I am not good at navigating, but the internet and information offices are full of recommended family activities, alas they do not backup these innocuous short hikes they are recommending with adequate signposting for people like me.

Wow cool video, looks very cozy!
Hi there. I'm originally from the UK & now reside in WA. I loved your video & found it relaxing. Thank you. ❤❤❤😁🇦🇺
Thanks Lucy🙌. I guess you don't get much snow over West. I don't know about you, I didn't know it snowed in Australia until I visited Falls Creek!

I was getting worried, I couldn't hear you breathing. It's good to hear you found my very serious documentary amusing🤷🤪
Love the video looks like fun.

No idea what that means🤣

Amazing, I thought everything that was even remotely dangerous was banned in Australia.
🤣 what's dangerous?
