Head Outside shots are still the most high % shots in BJJ, it's not a matter of difference of the rules, it's that most BJJ guys can't wrestle very well so they get choked. Kyle Snyder could easily double leg any heavyweight BJJ guy without getting guillotined.
Where do you people come from that think Wrestling is this unapproachable thing that no BJJ guy can train or has ever trained. You all have the same attitude. Nothing you said changes anything in the video.
The counter you said is the reason when i guillotine people doing the singles and doubles i use a rnc grip. That way when they jump to the other side they choke themselves out.
The most dangerous BJJ practitioner is one that’s a solid wrestler. The most dangerous fighter period is a solid wrestler. I love BJJ but wrestling > all

@@Geelee1029 im a blackbelt in bjj ive been doing bjj since 2004, muay thai, boxning and mma. If a wrestler fights a bjj fighter he will eventually get submitted. You need to know locks to to be able to fight on the ground. If you just know pins you will get swept eventually. You need good controll in top postition in bjj which basically is a bunch of wrestling (not talking sport wrestling) Pressure passing in mma from bjj is basically wrestling as well. The wrestling clip is a High Crotch shot to single leg takedown. Not a single leg setup. The difference is literally head inside vs outside. Makes a big difference here.
How is the still shot different from each other, being “inside” and “outside”. . . Both are on outside power hands under their armpit. What’s the difference incase anyone can let me know ?🤔
Wrestling does have some submissions it’s called illegal wrestling thing is it’s just we do it for fun and then when we start to learn it in Jujitsu we start doing it for real
That’s why they have different rules. Technically there different and wrestlers don’t need to worry about getting choked. You can’t compare them, that’s why they have mma. Different rules, wrestlers are not worried about getting choked. It’s a different sport.
Im trying to go from submission grappling to wrestling. And its so weird i was told "you cant do that" or "PIN" (i was pinned while going for a guillotine)so many times
Unless, it's greco. In Rome, they train an ancient form of combat greco, that is very deadly. Derived from the battle fields with more than 10 thousand people at war with one another. If you went to the ground, you died..
I always thought wrestling had submissions 😂
They dont
Yes they do!
The walls of Jericho.... Need i say more 😅😂

Catch Wrestling has submissions, but not the sport wrestling.
So like in highschool wrestling you couldn’t bust out a Kimora or an arm bar or anything?
Damn, love your vids
Excellent tip.
Throws/Slams are a huge difference too..
Holy what this was gold in a video bro thank u

Definitely not true. You need to know BJJ to be a good wrestler in MMA
Also your wrestling takedowns can be bad in BJJ and you still can be very high level in BJJ.

Very good points
Dante always got that DAWG in him.
Learned the hard
Bro felt the table behind his oppponet not the guillotine
Shooting to the out side is better a lot of them BUT ! TAking the waist to back is 2 secs later!

He grabbed a single leg = single leg takedown
You should always have your head outside if your shooting in wrestling too. The only reason your head should be inside is a single sweep
Or cut that angle and flare out the legs to side mount
double leg to high crotch 🔛🔝
I hate shooting with head inside, no gilly but hello front headlock
Technically that was a high c by the wrestler but hw finished with a single
or just keep your head up and your hips in

Another key difference is that it looks slightly less gay.

All i see is a shitty head outside versus a solid head outside shot. I do acknowledge less neck exposure with head inside
Real jujutsu has strikes.
hit on nape ends all that grabbing legs crap.
You're using the updated name bro
There's no need to use a double leg to take someone down. It's even less advisable in bjj or mma.
Blast double, or just throw their legs to the side and you're good with a double

Is called bad wrestling if you get sub while takedown.
Really should learn what the different types of shots are, your videos are not accurate. That’s a sloppy double attempt in the bjj match
Knows nothing abt wrestling lol
OP sounds unexperienced. MMA shooting is head to the outside. OP should actual go train, he'll figure out why.
