The idiot who DOES THINGS ~ I KNOW RIGHT?? I AGREE WITH YOU 100,000% SWEETHEART!! JEFF PILSON IS AN EXCEPTIONALLY AMAZING BASSIST **&** AN INCREDIBLY PHENOMENAL SINGER !! HE IS AN EXTREMELY TALENTED MUSICIAN!!
For all the people who wished Pilson was singer of Dokken - wish no more, it's called T&N (originally called Tooth & Nail). They have been around since 2011, unfortunately have only put out one album, but they did a few Dokken songs (with guest singers) and the new original songs are sung by Jeff. Enjoy :)
Jeff sounds better than Don for some reason 😂weirdly oh Mick singing Tooth and Nail is awesome too HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO BREAK THE SPELL STRAIGHT TO THE TOP TOOTH AND NAIL❤🤘Rock on Don George Jeff and Mick❤
This goes for all dokken/pilson fans here. I need a cd or cdr copy of all jeff pilson demos from pre-dokken through their 'back for the attack' eras. Please let me know. Thx.
Everyone who is saying "Don's was better" aren't comparing apples to apples. This was a rough demo & not polished in the studio. Yes, Pilson's vocals have more of a raw growl, but they're still very melodic in their own way.
I agree! Don has a very unique and melodic voice that can also sound tough when necessary. Jeff is a great vocalist and musician/composer, but in some spots, he almost sounds like Vince Neil. It's not Dokken without Don singing!
I think Don did this song better. He had that nigh pitched nasal thing going on, and when he had range, he'd actually end on higher notes than the music. But I do admit that Jeff did a better job than Don on that other song...Just Got Lucky...the acoustic version. Melodic wise, Jeff wins.
When you talk about this style of Metal, this band right here is hard to beat. Kinda the same way Judas Priest is in their style, either way I wouldn't wanna be in a band that goes on after either of the two.
Man both sound good but lynch made the sound. One of the greatest metal guitarist in the 80’s. In the 80’s I absolutely worn metal out. Mostly because during the grunge and rap years I continued to rock my 80’s. I just can’t get excited about it like I use too.
This is the demo that Don took to Germany to get a record deal behind, George, Jeff and micks back AFTER HE WAS TOLD NO HE COULDN'T HAVE THERE SONGS! This demo proves Don DID STEAL THERE MUSIC, called the band DOKKEN and the guys felt like they were strong armed into his idea of a band!
Are you on crack? Lmao, if you’re thinking of the story behind the “Breaking the Chains” album of 1982/1983, this song isn’t even a part of that whole mess. This song was on their Under Lock and Key album released in 1985, WELL after the band was formed.
I saw the interview where George and Mick talked about this. Yes Don did steal their music and approached them with a record deal calling the band Dokken. NMJ is right.
WOOWWW HOW DARE U DISRESPECT DON LIKE THAT, they r equal to me and don is the man. I cannot believe u would disrespect don like that, hes not the best he used to be now but he was one badass singer back then
You should try singing 40 plus years and see how your voice changes. Time takes its toll, Don was a great voice in Rock. Pilson kicks ass and high respect for him, definitely Don is Dokken like it or not. He is trying hard to entertain every one.
@@ToriS61910True! That's uncalled for. Don's Legacy speaks for itself. Imo. Jeff's vocals on this are not in the same league as Don. I'm not digging Jeff on this.
Never liked dokken because of Dons vocals, nasal and wimpy...No power at all. This is better with jeff..I listened a couple of songs back then because of George playing.
Jeff Poilson could have been a slammin heavy metal singer!

JEFF PILSON IS AN EXCEPTIONALLY AMAZING BASSIST **&**
AN INCREDIBLY PHENOMENAL SINGER !! HE IS AN EXTREMELY TALENTED
MUSICIAN!!
Jeff's vocals are wicked.. to me Don made it more melodic, but Jeff's vocals make a more menacing Dokken..
You said it perfectly, thanks!
They would sound great together
When Dokken broke up, Jeff, George and Mick should have stayed together like their original plan. They would have done very well.
@@jeffallen3382 still talking? Are you bored or is wifey still chasing Lynch?
JEFF PILSON is awesome I love his vocals I'm the only kid that likes Dokken in my school💀🍗🐟
I love Jeff and his voice. 😍 Rock on dude!
Thanks for share this
Needs more echo. ;)
ps-Jeff Pilson is a great singer.
MARSHOMEWORLD EXACTLY!!
JEFF PILSON HAS AN EXCEPTIONALLY AMAZING VOICE!!
WAR and Peace listent to this band , that Jeff was the singer he is awesome

I dont, to me don sounds better😂

Wow! I know Don's voice was great but really makes me realize how big a part Jeff really played here on vocals.
Bro Jeffs singing is fire I love it it's unique ❤
Wow! Anymore of these?
This goes for all dokken/pilson fans here. I need a cd or cdr copy of all jeff pilson demos from pre-dokken through their 'back for the attack' eras. Please let me know. Thx.
Nothing personal but jeff makes the band sound way!!!!!!!!! Better!
DAMN!!! You got that right!
Everyone who is saying "Don's was better" aren't comparing apples to apples. This was a rough demo & not polished in the studio. Yes, Pilson's vocals have more of a raw growl, but they're still very melodic in their own way.
That's how I used to dress
Yeah Don's is better, Still love Jeff and loved hearing his version.
I agree! Don has a very unique and melodic voice that can also sound tough when necessary. Jeff is a great vocalist and musician/composer, but in some spots, he almost sounds like Vince Neil. It's not Dokken without Don singing!
Maybe it's because I'm so used to Don singing it, but I like the album version better. Nothing against Jeff though, he's a killer singer
Fr
Way cooler than Don
Same type of vocal like Don but Don make it better more singularity in it. But as a chorus guy he is great! (Jeff)
I think Don did this song better. He had that nigh pitched nasal thing going on, and when he had range, he'd actually end on higher notes than the music. But I do admit that Jeff did a better job than Don on that other song...Just Got Lucky...the acoustic version. Melodic wise, Jeff wins.
I think the best part is the spoken section!
Love me some Pilson Vox on Dokken tunes. Let’s face it. It was Pilsons band.
When you talk about this style of Metal, this band right here is hard to beat. Kinda the same way Judas Priest is in their style, either way I wouldn't wanna be in a band that goes on after either of the two.
Funny how Don says he wrote all the songs but seems to be missing from many demos.
Why are there so many Pillson demos? What was Don doing?
Don has been using the "I've been sick" line at concerts for 20+ years... he just can't hit it anymore
He had cancer man.
For every show for the past 25 years?
@@b.scottfarthingsworth No but its no secret Dons had tons of health problems. Give the guy a fucking break. You'd be bitching if he had give up.
@@TheTacticalRedneckHD not really. Dokken is irrelevant without Lynch
@@daveg4236 irrelevant my ass. He proved that he doesn't need George to make great albums *coughs Up from the Ashes coughs*
This is meaner and man is this good!! I've always found don's voice is a bit too high or wimpy
Aaalrght yeah,,ahh bass player n lead singer should switch position n call the band ROKKEN,,l knew the quite bass player had some rage to offer
Reminds me of WASP or something not that that is a bad thing !

Don claims he did all the writing.. so why is Jeff singing on all of the Demos? ... lol
Thank God for Don Dokken. Don’s voice really sells this song. I love Jeff, but his voice sounds annoying after listening how cool Don sounded.
Docking? The boat?
This is the demo that Don took to Germany to get a record deal behind, George, Jeff and micks back AFTER HE WAS TOLD NO HE COULDN'T HAVE THERE SONGS! This demo proves Don DID STEAL THERE MUSIC, called the band DOKKEN and the guys felt like they were strong armed into his idea of a band!
monicajean37 You're drunken, crazy or high... These are dirty lies from a psycho bitch
Jeff was not in the band when they got a record deal. There is a difference between 1985 1981.

Jeff was rad. Some songs better than Don, but he's not taking this song home
Jeff Pilson is 200% Better than Don Dokken anytime. When Don sings he sounds like he is singing in a toilet
JallthewayR Brownwell He used to sound better

Would have been a bigger band with Jeff on vocals. Knock on Dokken was cheesy vocals

Don is much better
