He broke a piston is what happened. Ring end gaps weren't set lose enough for the boost he was running and the ring butted together and broke a ring land... It happens all the time when your pushing big boost. You need to build it with such large piston ring end gaps to make hp like that on an engine that size, it becomes a blow by machine at low load/RPM
Damn, what pads is the Scooby running on the front brakes? That thing spits more Sparks than a firecracker fuse. Maybe I don't pay attention, maybe I've just never seen such aggressive pads on the street? I dunno... But I can't recall seeing that outside of a track day. .

I still miss my sti however I don't miss the constant problems when building high horse power one's. I wish I kept mine around the 400whp mark she probably would still be with me and still running. My gt is a lot of fun but I miss the awd so much, year round toy. fun in the summer even more so in the winter 😉
