It just shows how amazing of an actress Alicia Agneson is that she played two characters (Freydis and Katia) who look exactly alike yet I don't mix the two of them up like Ivar does simply because of how the two move different, act different, say their lines differently, again, talented!
a very talented actress, who played 2 very different characters, quiteoutstanding ; ... however, these first scenes were a bit confusing ! ----- A feeling of ''déjà vu '' !
both Katja and Freidis have literally same bitchy character,while they are 2 different women,living in two totally different cultures,but it's not suprising considering what these poor writersgave us in season 5 and 6

Same … l really think it was a figment of his imagination, l think he was still in love with Freydis despite what happened..
It was. That's why his brother didn't recognise her even though he'd seen Freydis in life. Freydis was his first love, often that can be so profound even without death that you meet someone and are reminded so much of them if they are similar in mannerisms or whatever and think you see something that likens them even if it's just..similar jawlines similar eyes or something like that
But to me I think it was a God probably Freya. Gods often take mortal forms to bless or trick humans in this universe and Ivar found true love and a child which made him softer and a better person. He called Freydis Freya and she's the goddess of fertility so to me it's that and that's why Ivar sees her as identical to Freydis even if it's only him. She is Freya in human form

i loved the story arc with ivar in kievan rus!...it really showed his growth and maturity as a character. his love story with katia was beautiful and touching, and i was so glad when she revealed she was carrying his child. 🥲👍

These two actors are excellent together, so much sexual chemistry, it is so real and beautifully filmed. Absolutely loved them together amid all the horror, they brought some form of beauty, loved the mash up of all the scenes. 😘😘

I think the producers mentioned that Katia doesn’t actually look like Freydis and it’s just in his head (hence why Hvitserk doesn’t see the resemblance) but I wish they had shown us what she actually looked like. I also don’t see how he couldn’t impregnated her or had sex with her given what we know about him. I love the actress and I loved Freydis but the Katia story arc was strange.

@@mayaserenaher5336 Simple. Ivar can get a boner, he just needed the right circumstances and stimulation. Katya provided them, and he got her pregnant. With Margrethe, it was his first time so he was extremelly nervous, especially considering his own insecurity about his body (legs). It didn't help that Margrethe was there unwilling, and exteriorized her disgust a bit. This experience hurt him and scarred him, so he felt incapable of trying with other women, even with Freydis. Freydis didn't bother to wait for him and actually took other measures to get pregnant. Of all the women, Katya was actually the one who was sincere to him, and as such, she was able to make him surpass that fear. So yeah, Ivar is having his own kid with her.
i just noticed, ivar wears two arm rings. His own arm ring and the one of his father, Ragnar.

Alex is such a good actor. You know someone is an amazing actor when you absolutely despise their character.
I really wish we could've seen her as how everyone else seen her at least once at the end, I want to know what she really looked like.
Like as he left, it could've shown her as we've seen her, and then the camera could move blocking her with a person or pillar and then show her again as she truly looked, or even when the camera looked behind her as she watched him walk away, when it showed her again seeing him leave it could've been a different actress. I really wish we could've seen her just once how she looked to everyone else.

@@rediettadesse2828 see I originally thought that, but his brother (unless screwing with him, which is possible) said she looked nothing like his late wife. She claims the same and that if the day ever came that he truly saw her he would be disappointed. So I really wish they would've let us see her how she truly was for a small moment when he left.

Hvitserk said he did not see any resemblance between Fredyis and Katia and went ahead to tell Ivar that he was still crazy. I want to think that Fredyis and Katia look alike because we are shown their image how Ivar sees them rather than how they really are physically. Ivar was obsessed with his wife and felt so guilty for killing her so it would make sense that if anyone reminds him of her he might confuse them for her.

The most harmfull thing was Hirst's daughter , Georgia who is awfull actress . If you thinking a bit after the laster episode , Torvi was a support character . From the second season she was constantly victim, victim , victim ...easy to recognise , she asked more and more scene from her father and he did it . Torvi very boring and in the storyline she stayed young and sexier 🤨 bec Georgia egoist . Torvi in the B more than the 55 years old while Ubbe 28 . What every other women didn't see,he is a highly emotional man,a man like that you must connect deeply with him. He was the only one who could think,the real war Lord like his father. His plot skim strategy was extra ordinary, even iron side couldn't defeat him. But he slayed his wife child, and Vikings love revenge she gave him up. But I was happy,that a true woman could reach the dept of him that's katia and conceive his true child, not that of his wife made from adultery. But women love men like iron side and ubbe that can make them beg and cry on bed.

Per ivar avrei voluto donne diverse e che fossero capace di amare e sostenere Ivar davvero, forse Katia ci è riuscita di più e quando ha iniziato a piacermi non ha avuto più scene con Ivar.
