I've done the Boston to Bermuda cruise a few times. It's good because you get the same 3 days in Bermuda, but you also get an extra port as it goes up to either Portland or Bar Harbor Maine. Love doing an excursion in Bar Harbor that takes you over to Acadia National Park. It's a really unique cruise as you get Island paradise in Bermuda and then a more cooler, mountain experience in Maine.
They should include water with the drink package - that’s pretty cheap. I would take my “bottle” to the buffet and refill before paying $4 for a new one. I do love to sail to Bermuda.
Diamonds International stores are only located at cruiseports and tourist areas. They tend to sell low quality Diamonds and gemstones. A lot of people complain that soon after they buy their jewelry the gems become loose and separates from the ring or necklace. Then it's hard to return the items because they are only located at cruisports unless you cruise often.
Totally disagree, you get what you pay for. My diamond was bought there and appraised in Canada for insurance and the quality was excellent. You save on duty and taxes.
Definitely recommend Bermuda . You are right a different vibe, but I loved it. Safe , clean, and easy to get around. For a west coaster, add a few nights in NYC for a really good vacation!
Great vlog. I tried NCL for the 1st time in April on the Viva in a solo studio. Couldn't understand why water wasn't included. Had never heard of a drink package without it. Had to upgrade to FAS plus just to get water, and unlimited wifi. I may try the Joy to avoid flying to FL. Can take the Acela from DC to NYC instead. Bermuda is one port I haven't visited yet but looks like there's more to do than I thought.
You can purchase bottled water from NCL. It comes in multiples of 6 or 12. You order before your cruise and it will be in your cabin when you arrive. Very reasonable price.
Well water is included, I can get a glass of water anytime I want. You are asking for a bottle of water which I would think requires additional handling by the cruise line besides maintaining the additional inventory it would require they are then responsible for collecting the bottle, processing and paying for the waste collection once at land again. I suggest taking your favorite water bottle along and go to the fill stations at your convenience.
My one experience with Diamonds International was on a Princess cruise to the southern Caribbean. In my defense, it was a hot day and I wanted a few minutes of air conditioning. What I didn't anticipate was that my husband and I would be the only customers in the entire store, and the salesman was so excited I thought he was going to lock us in! 😳 The last time I experienced that hard of a sell was in the back room of a car dealership. 1⭐, do not recommend 😂
Free at Sea PLUS you get unlimited bottled water, cans of soda, Starbucks, unlimited Internet and additional $50 Per excursion and top shelf booze, plus 2 additional specialty dinings. All that's an additional $40/day.
Love Bermuda. Always have a wonderful time.
Nice to know there's so much to see and do right at the port. I'm moving Bermuda up the bucket list, after my ABCs cruise.
You absolutely must. I really enjoy it and think it's one of the best places you can cruise to from the East Coast.
That was wonderful. Thank you.
I have been wanting to go on a solo cabin cruise to Bermuda.
Thanks Zach! Another great video! We love Bermuda!

On Celebrity they include bottled water with the drink package.

They partner with the cruise lines, coupons etc. The free bracelet charm has been the come-on for years.

Great video! I loved the views and the info about maneuvering around the shallow waters in Bermuda. I'd love to hear more fun facts in your videos.
Be sure to visit the GOSLING Black Seal Rum outlet. FYI, the 151 proof rum isn't allowed on planes for fear of fire.
Just got off the joy today. We had fun, unfortunately the weather did not cooperate all the time.

Water is crazy expensive!! I just fill up A water bottle at the drink station.
The water deal drives me crazy. Water should be included in the drink package.

All frequent cruisers should get one of those global travel tumblers with a water filter built in. Useful on the ship, more useful in ports!

Did you happen to video your walk from the terminal back to the train station to show the route and views you encountered? Thanks.
That's my favorite cruise port in the Caribbean. I love Bone Fish Bar & Grill. Their buffalo wings are excellent!
Is the casino open at all when the ship is in port in Bermuda?
@BumHip….Good question!! I’d like to know about having drink package while at port for 3 days, if it’s still included?
With the unlimited drink package, bartenders will give you a carton of water if you sit there and buy a drink or two.

My ex husband got ripped off at Diamonds International. He spent over $10,000 on a ring that was appraised in NY for only $2,500.
Great video, but it is a ferry, not a fairy. 😂
