Its safe in the city but im not sure about small towns. It does look beautiful and very reasonably price. How about living and owning a property I wonder how reasonable the real cost...

That bed cinema was nice. My long term plans are to retire in Bangkok or Pattya. My husband and I could retire comfortably in respect to funds. USA is becoming too expensive. Especially living in the DC area. To live in a nice place, without having to deal with BoKeisha and JuJu, you will be paying $1900-$2600 minimum. Ridiculous!! People making $75k-$100k most of my friends. Is not the same $75k-$100k from the late 1990's or early 2000's. Times have changed in the USA. There are beach destinations in Thailand, well worth visiting, when you get too hot. Also, Bali is just four or five hours by plane. That’s what I did! Also, Bangkok is notorious for people who prey on tourists by not taking them to the destination they ask to go to, for example. Instead they’ll tell you it’s closed and try to take you elsewhere. Don’t believe them. It’s a ploy to take you to their cousin’s souvenir shop. Other than that, it’s perfectly safe.
