We love that you guys enjoyed the island so much! It is amazing here we just don’t want too many people to know 😜 Also so nice that you showed that you can still enjoy the beauty of great city like Victoria with out spending a fortune. We go to Victoria often and you gave us a new ice cream place to try can’t wait to have some parachute ice cream 🍦😋
oh, nostalgic vibes. I am heading to Vancouver Island in June. I can't wait to get up to the picturesque, Elk Falls. First of all, I am flying into Vancouver in June. I am taking the ferry across from Vancouver Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay Victoria. I'll stay with a childhood friend I have known since grade 1. I will rent a scooter and travel around Dallas Road. After a few days, I'll rent a car to go up the island to Campbell River to visit family and friends. I am definitely going up to Elk Falls. After a couple of days, I am going back to Victoria. I am super excited about the trip. Thanks for making this vlog. The internet appreciates it.

Almost All the places you visited I’ve either visited or was my usual go-tos whenever I have guests over. So glad you enjoyed your time here in this beautiful city!
This where we spent our honeymoon! It’s such a pretty place! When you visit again, you should visit Butchart Gardens. It’s a little pricey, but worth it.
Yeah, the gardens were out of the budget this time, but maybe someday! We had a fantastic time in Victoria and the Island. It's one of our favorite places ever! Thanks for watching!
So, guys, I love Canada! If I were to choose other place to live it will be Europe, but my first option outside Europe would be Canada! I'm from Vitoria, Brazil. This city is also a beautiful island. It's capital of the Espírito Santo. Take care of yourselves!
Gorgeous job guys! Our daughter goes to university there so we are over 4-5 times a year and love it. It’s a gorgeous place . The tea at Murchies is usually English afternoon tea. My fave is earl grey or London fog. We always say we will stop at red fish and now you have inspired us to do so next time! Looks delicious!
That is nice to have that excuse to visit Victoria so often! We loved Muchies! Red Fish Blue Fish is a must! Make sure to go early though. It gets busy. Thanks!
Loved your reference to Mary Berry! The video just capped off this great series you did on Vancouver Island! I loved the “yelling/speaking” peacock! You just seem to know what to include in the videos that really show off the area/town that you’re in that gives us the desire to go there! Just so informative!
Mary Berry is the best! Thank you so much! That’s one of our hopes is to truly show the beauty of the places we visit and make people want to go there! That’s awesome to hear we accomplished that!
"Quite nice. It has a really nice crumb"- My Mary Berry impression. Fortunately you can't here my terrible accent!😄 I really want to go to B.C.!!!! Kona loves the water! What did she think of that peacock? Y'all the ice cream is making my mouth water!!! I never tire of waterfalls! So exciting Alaska is getting closer!!!
Mary Berry is the best! 😂 BC and Vancouver Island is some of our favorite places ever! Kona is starting to really love the water and the peacock through her off a bit haha
TH-cam recommended this to me and I'm glad it did. I love the energy/enthusiasm you guys have while exploring 🙂 I was born and raised in Victoria and go through phases of boredom or even detest of my hometown. Seeing it from your perspective reminds me to appreciate the beauty of it, and not take it for granted 😌
Enjoying this series. Brings back memories for me. After graduation I took myself on a bus trip vacation to Western Canada. We stayed in Victoria and at that time our accommodations were places like The Empress and Lake Louise not the norm now. The views in this video takes me back. Butchart Gardens were beautiful and the views of Victoria at night so lovely. Looking forward to each stop you’re making.
Victoria is so beautiful! “I love tea the most!!” Haha. You two are so funny! That ice cream looked amazing…I want some of the lemon! I just love watching all your adventures…keep traveling safe❣️
Looks like a gorgeous city. Loved your whole series of the island and I'm excited to one day get there and use your vids as a guide. Hope your drive to Alaska is going well!
Such a wonderful video! This was our last stop on honeymoon many years ago. You captured the essence of Victoria and brought back so many memories for us. Thanks so much!!!
When my son lived in Seattle we took a boat to Vancouver. It is an amazing historical city. We did visit Butchart Gardens which was spectacular, but this just gives you a reason to go back 👍🏼
Butchart Gardens are in Victoria nit Vancouver. Different cities. Victoria is on Vancouver Island. It's a little confusing but I live here so take my word for it
You do not need a Boat from Seattle to The city of Vancouver, a lot of people get the city of Vancouver confused with Vancouver island they are two different places , The city of Victoria is on Vancouver island this is where you took the boat from Seattle to Victoria more likely,
Hello Adventurers😊😊, Victoria was AWESOME! Ya know, I didn't know there was a Niagara Falls😄😄😄😄. Victoria is such a beautiful city with the English feel to it. But, what I really wanted to see is that ice cream that y'all didn't want to share. OUTSTANDING VIDEO FOLKS👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍!
I always wonder 💭 💭 💭 Why? Why everything looks so much tastier when Adam is holding it? My husband wants to eat everything Adam ordered in every episode. Then I realize how much thorough research you guys must have done, how much hard work behind your videos. Now we have to add Victoria to our must go list…… Oh, I have to request the “Adam’s pick” must eat food list😋😋😋
haha yes we do a lot of research before we make a decision on food. We want to make sure we'll love the place! Luckily this time we had been before so we knew we'd love it. At the end of the year we'll be doing a yearly recap video where we'll share our favorite meals of the year!
Wow you went for the unusual. We were there years ago and thought Vancouver island was one of the most beautiful places we had ever been. Victoria is amazing. We would want to revisit Butchart Gardens if we ever get to return. It is one of of fav places all time.
Hmmm, what do you mean by unusual? We thought we did the pretty basic tourist stuff! Butchart Gardens looks nice, we would’ve gone if it was a bit more affordable...maybe next time!
I feel like my moment has arrived to be helpful. As a Brit, I'd describe your tea experience as a 'cream tea'. This is when you have tea and it's served with a scone accompanied with jam and clotted cream. By the looks of your shots, I think you guys had just whipped cream, but clotted is amazing (albeit very calorific). There's so much more to this too - the battled between Devon and Cornwall - Cornwall insists on putting jam on first, Devon insists on the cream first. Then there's the confusion behind afternoon tea and high tea. Afternoon being the one you described, and high tea being a regular meal eaten late afternoon or evening. Northerners will still often call their evening meal 'tea' but southerners give me weird looks when I slip into old habits and use that term! I've never know anyone to cut them in half the way you both did. We always cut them through the centre so there's a top half and a bottom half! As for the pouring of the tea, it may not have helped that you had narrow mugs instead of wide tea cups. You can tell us Brits take our tea waaaay too seriously! 🤣 LOVE that you watch Bake Off. Everyone seems to love it here. It's just a really happy, feel good programme, no backstabbing or nastiness like other reality shows can have. I remember going to Beacon Hill Park, it doesn't look like it's changed much, but it was my attempt to make up for not going to Butchart Gardens as my backpackers budget could not stretch that far, but did not know about its history! I wish I'd known about the waterfall - I caught the local bus out to Thetis Lake on a really hot day - went for a dip in the lake and a wander around, but I'd have stayed on the bus had I known that waterfall was just a bit further up the road - gorgeous!
Thanks for all the info on tea! We knew we were in way over our head on British tea culture and tea in general really! We've heard a bit about the Devon/Cornwall debate and think that's very interesting! I thought about cutting the scone length wise, but it was crumbly and I didn't want to destroy it so I thought the best move was the way I did it 😂 We'd love to learn more about the tea culture and experience it more and the different versions like you mentioned! I really like Bake Off, but mainly the seasons with Mary Berry. I did read about some controversy of favoritism on the show for a few of the seasons though! 😨 But other than that I learned a lot from it and it is a fun show to watch! Ya we didn't want to spend the money on the Butchart Gardens this trip either. It does look very nice!
I want to go there SO Bad!! We used to go everytime we went to see my dad who used to live in Sequim on the peninsula. We would take the boat from Port Angeles over, spend the day and come back. Love Victoria! That park that you camped in was gorgeous! Like I said, the island is definitely on our bucket list. Thanks for the tour around the island!
Looks like lots of tasty eating in this episode! Echoing others, you missed a world class botanical garden - The Butchart Gardens, which are even more amazing when you realize they are inside an abandoned limestone quarry! Travel safely and "see" you down the road! 🙂
Born here in 69. My big brother and I when we were kids (summer of grade 3 and 4) use to ride our bikes to town, lock them to the railing in front of the Douglas building, take the stairs to the Basement, then take the tunnel that led to the East side of the Parliament building first level basement. There is a tunnel that leads to the Empress. Way back in the days, the Royals when they stayed at the Empress would use the tunnel underground systems for security reasons. My brother and I spent 3 weekends/ many hours exploring the Underground network in and around the Parliament buildings in the summer of 1977. The first room we walked into had the door open, was full of all the plans of the Parliament building, surrounding building/ structures. We scanned all the planes for anything that had dashed lines and took notes. All of a sudden, we had a feeling someone was watching us. We looked at the door that we had left open a crack like we found it, to see an eyeball staring at us, the door opened to the Guard asking where our MoM was, I replied she is working in the Douglas building. The guard told us he did not have a problem with us being there, as long we put everything back, and you did not steal anything. As the guard was closing the door, he said, " You boys know there is treasure around here". My big brother and Eye looked at each other, as if to say, If there was, we will find it. Well Over the Average tourist has no idea how extensive the underground network is in this city. Take Government street for instance where that whale bush is, if you walk almost to China town, and look back towards the House of Parliament, you will see a hump in the road, that hump never use to be there/ when you walk into the stores on that hump, you are actually walking into the second floor of those stores. Where that hump is, if you walk west to the water, you will see a parking lot that has a retaining wall built from large rocks. those large stones were from the ballast of the old long-range sailing ships from South America, British Isles and Europe or so the story goes. The guy that built the Parliament, Empress and a few other buildings left too many clues about the so-called treasure that is hidden under this city. One of the best free things to do in this city is the Directed Tour of the Parliament building. As they tell you Gene wanted to fill the Decor of Parliament with so much gold trim, but it was shot down because it would have shown that house had too much of it. Gene was also rumored to have been kill in some sex scandal and died penny less as he was taken for everything he was worth as it was evident that he new something. Or so the story goes.
Thanks for the walking tour of Victoria. My wife and I are heading over there in August. I have been there a few times, but she hasn't been to Canada yet, so I shared your video with her. Best to you both.
The weather is great, the scenery is awesome, and the people are beyond odd and strange!!! I lived there for 5 years and am glad I moved away. What a strange vibe...
Wow I used to visit the murchie old ladies every week when I was a little girl and push that button. Thanks for the nostalgia. I’ll have to go and visit them in Victoria one day.
Loving Vancouver Island and even the Chinese Market you went to back on the mainland. Planning now to go to those spots and others before cruising to Alaska. Thanks for sharing the adventures and sparking desire to travel here within me!
There is so much to see and do on Vancouver Island & in Vancouver/Richmond. But the whole province is rich in history, varied geography and wonderful places to camp & sightsee - definitely well worth the time spent exploring this incredible province.
Adam your voicing the animated ladies having tea cracked us up! Love love love you showed us the city, looked like Europe! Also, enjoyed the mini-hikes (more our ability) to the falls & the beautiful park! Great video guys thank you! ~Cara
You guys please shoot some video of The Butchart Gardens! The last time I was there was 1991 while I was in the Coast Guard living in Port Angeles WA. It would bring back some serious memories
Please see our pinned comment. Not everyone can afford fancy gardens, so we like sharing budget options for people on a budget, like ourselves. There are many other great videos of the gardens if you'd like to see them again!
Great video! We are going to Vancouver and Victoria in a few weeks to check out some universities for my daughter! Will definitely hit up some of the spots in your videos!
Victoria, very beautiful it's super I was two times ,Vancouver island it's fantastic. Beautiful place to be .Thank you ,very beautiful episode. Greetings from the garden island 🏝 Kauai
We are taking our new camper van on it's first adventure to Victoria in June! We have ferry reservations and a campsite reserved for 5 nights at Goldstream CG. How did you like the campground? Do you remember which site you were in? It looks very private and quiet. We enjoyed your Alaska journey and the video of our hometown, Spokane! Cheers!
Woohoo! That's awesome! That campground is awesome. The Canadian campgrounds are always very nice and clean. I don't remember which site we were in, but we loved the campground. Thanks and thanks for watching!
I live in central island and love your video of our Capital city. I only get to Victoria twice a year or so. You are right Butchard gardens is expensive and not a must see just because it's a cruise excursion. I've been there 3x in 30 years. Lol. Hatley castle, governors generals house both have lovely gardens you can see at no cost. And yes Beacon hill park is ocean front and amazing. You captured the city well. Well done!
My first visit to Victoria was in August of 2003, and I LOVED it. I've been back twice since then. Finally got to stay at The Empress, and we did get "fancy" and do high tea lol. Next time, we'll stick with Murchie's though, I about fell out when I got the check after tea at the Empress!! LOL. Victoria is definitely one of my favorite cities! Thanks for sharing your adventures,, gives us a heads up for when we visit the places you go!! 🙂
Awesome that you enjoyed the city I wanted to thank you for aknowledging the first nations of the island as a indigenous male it's important to maintain our culture
Thanks for saying that. We love to learn about and share the First Nations people and culture in Canada and indigenous people and culture in the US when we can. We think it’s important for people to understand that it isn’t just history. It’s not just stuff from the past, but it’s real life people living in the now
Murchies is my go-to coffee/tea place in downtown Victoria. But I’m going to be there for a couple of weeks in early July (husband’s work conference) and this time I’m absolutely 100% going to treat my 86 yr old Mom to High Tea at the Empress - neither have us have ever had that experience and I think we deserve the luxury of it! We’re also moving out of province to the other side of the country next year. My Mom absolutely deserves this treat. Thank you for visiting so many of the places I won’t have a chance to get back to for awhile. It was wonderful to see Vancouver Island in all it’s Spring lushness - so vivid and colourful. Truly one of my favourite places in the world. Safe travels on the rest of your journey. Oh, and if you have the time/inclination maybe make a bit of a detour and visit Barkerville. It’s the last stop on the Gold Rush Trail where people from all over the world descended to try to strike it rich in the gold fields. Wonderful, wonderful place and there’s 2 really nice campgrounds, much like Goldstream, for an overnight stay.
We hope you have a great time with your mom at the Empress! That’s one we really want to visit one day! We are so thankful and lucky to share our experience on Vancouver Island. It’s one of our favorite places ever as well! Barkerville was on our list to visit and we were really excited to go, but the timing didn’t work out. We drove through two days before they were opening up fully for the season. We were really bummed to miss it!
@@AdventuresofAplusK awww that’s too bad about Barkerville. Maybe another time! Thank you, I’m really looking forward to sharing the High Tea experience with my Mom - I have a sneaking suspicion that she’ll get very dressed up and will even wear one of her very fancy hats or her “fascinator” headpiece like all the Royals wear lol.
Your entire series about Vancouver Island was fantastic. I can't wait to see what you do with your time in Alaska. BTW, that Peacock was crazy cool. Was that wild?
It’s very common to come across wild peacocks, especially in Beacon Hill park where they are protected from traffic and people disturbing their nesting areas. You’ll find a lot of peacocks in Victoria, Vancouver (especially Stanley Park) and there’s an area in Surrey (which used to be a “bedroom” community of Vancouver but is now a sprawling City) called Panorama/Strawberry Hill where they are more than abundant. (Just a little tip from someone who grew up there & visits regularly)
Love your videos. Thanks for the visit to Victoria. For future plans you would also enjoy Ottawa. See the Canadian history light show projected on the parliament building.
Yeah but every government in Ottawa has never known Victoria even exists. They all know where every city is in Ontario though, and it is obvious that is where you are originally from............
You guys are so entertaining! I really enjoy your funny outtakes at the end of the videos. I am sorta following in your footsteps, as I'm also currently exploring Van Island. So, thanks for all the tips and info! Keep up the good work and give your pup a pat from me and my own adventurous pup, Jackson! 🐶
Love the beautiful photography - waterfall, peacocks, flowers etc. LOVE the food you get!! Makes me so hungry!! Bless you on your way! (watching since Pismo Beach, CA).
We started watching your channel because we are going to Italy in September and loved your videos on Italy. They were so informative. We then got hooked on checking out a lot more of your videos. You guys do a great job of providing great video and great information. Thanks so much. We are really enjoying your trip north to Alaska. We visited there about 15 years ago when I first retired. We took a truck with a camper in the bed and spent 5 months on the road up there along the Alaskan Highway and then south again. We took a ferry from Haines Alaska to Prince Rupert BC. It was so much fun. We would highly recommend it. I wish we would have gotten off at a couple of stops along the way to explore some the cities along the inside passage. At Haines there is a forest service campground just a short ways north of town and to get there you have to drive along a river. We were there in July or August, I can't remember for sure but the salmon were running and in the evening there were a lot of grizzlies and eagles having a feast along the river. It was a great time. We highly recommend it. We were also wondering if you ever eat at a place where you really don't care for the food? Every single video we have watched you rave about the food. We do love your channel and have recommended it to others. Keep up the great work. Larry and Carol Young
Thank you so much! We're unfortunately not going to the Inside Passage this trip. We'd love to visit, but just don't have the time, it's logistically challenging with a dog, and it's expensive. It does sound amazing though! As for the food we eat on the vlog....we do a TON of research ahead of time before deciding where to eat. With a limited budget and not eating out a lot we want to make sure the place is high quality and has great reviews. We never just wander into a place and we are also pretty easy to please when it comes to food. There has been a couple times where I haven't totally enjoyed some food items on the vlog. For example, boiled peanuts in South Carolina and fried artichoke in Italy (although I would give that one another shot). Thanks again for watching and for recommending our channel!
I'm happy to see we can once again welcome our neighbors for a visit. It's been a long couple of years getting through Covid and isolating. It is nice to know Victoria can still attract visitors and has things to offer. I still have not tried Red Fish Blue Fish but only because it is so busy. In 2010 with the Vancouver olympics Angela Viola was brought to Red Fish Blue Fish for lunch by her support staff for lunch and waited in line with everyone else. Apparently they had been over for a visit the weekend before and were so pleased with lunch they had to come back with Angela. Tea at the Empress is pricey and something else as a local I have not done, but there is a connection. Both my mother and grandmother worked as waitresses in the dining room during the 50's. It was ruled by the Matron and you better be dressed properly or you will not be allowed in the dining room. Pressed White blouse and a black skirt were mandatory. There weren't a lot of jobs for women back then so you towed the line and complied or you were looking for another job. It took me a very long time to visit Buchart Gardens. At the time I wasn't too into flowers, so many other priorities to spend my money on. I grew up within walking distance. I did finally go in my late thirties. It was not what I would call cheap admission but it really was worth seeing. Absolutely gorgeous. Anytime of the year.
We are so happy we were able to go as well! We are thankful and lucky we get to experience so much and share it here on TH-cam! Thank you for all that info and for watching!
Victoria blew up as a city during the gold rush in the Klondike, Chinatown and the area around it was wild. The colourful buildings on Lower Johnson Street were "hotels" - actually brothels - and being adjacent to Chinatown, it was an area where opium and gambling dens were plentiful. There are supposed to be a number of old doors and passages (now sealed off) that allowed customers of the various illegal establishments to escape from one building why passing through others. It's said that a deal was eventually struck and police would arrive in their horse drawn wagons, but they would start ringing their bells (before the days of sirens) an agreed number of block away from the area to give people the opportunity to run. It's the nicest part of the town, as far as I'm concerned
Great video and a nice tour. Is there anything regarding the arts? And the food looks delicious. However, what makes their delicious food any different from any other place that has great food?
Hey Adam and Kathryn....another interesting video, commentary, and soundtrack....amazing food and pastries and ice cream...We always look forward to your next video, as we have never been to the Pacific Northwest, Western Canada and Alaska.....From Hank and Pam of South Texas...(little info....it is about 105 right now in Austin!!!!)
Loved this one! And the music was ON POINT. We're passing through Port Angeles this week and it's taking every ounce of our strength not to jump on a ferry to Victoria right now! 😅
My wife and I spent our honeymoon (1994) in Victoria at Abigails, about four blocks from the port. We returned on our 25th Anniversary to sign the guest book during our Anniversary Alaska / Canada your.

Love all your videos! Do you get the food for free from the restaurants and food you feature? You do an amazing job describing every detail of the meal you are enjoying! Looking forward to all the Alaska videos! Happy and safe travels🙏👩
No we don’t get the food for free. We’ve maybe gotten a few items for free here and there because they notice we have cameras. Thank you so much for that! We love trying and sharing foods on the vlog! Thanks for watching!
Yay, makes me want to take a second visit. I'm surprised the falls area wasn't busy. I met a guy in gold stream Park that looked liked Robin Williams 😅 he was enthusiastic about the nature there. Anyway thanks again for sharing
Wow Nice! You guys visited where I live! I haven’t enjoyed that fish in 3 years at least, and I haven’t even been to Beacon Hill park in a year. Am going tomorrow. 😂💕😎
I've been to Victoria many times over the years, but only really explored it in full while on vacation the past two summers. I've always wondered what Red Fish Blue Fish was like (it always has a lineup), but you provided me some inspiration to try it out (I'll be there again in about 3 weeks)! Some other food spots to check out on your next visit - The Blue Fox, Floyd's Diner and the BC Legislative Dining Room (Fairmont Empress quality food at a very reasonable price).
Yes, we are very well aware we did not visit Butchart Gardens. It was not in the budget this time and Beacon Hill Park is a great FREE alternative 😉

We've had nothing but good times in Victoria and Vancouver Island! It's one of our favorite places. Thanks for watching!
Oh wow that sounds like a fun trip! We’d love to stay at the Empress sometime! Thanks for watching!
Victoria is so beautiful! “I love tea the most!!” Haha. You two are so funny! That ice cream looked amazing…I want some of the lemon! I just love watching all your adventures…keep traveling safe❣️
Victoria is mega beautiful! Those tea ladies were chatty! 😂
You would really like the lemon!
Everything is Beautiful and the food looks delicious!! Loved the scenery with the walks snd waterfall wad Beautiful.Cant wait for the next video.
Thanks, Sandra!
Thank you for showing us this beautiful island!!! (So funny the ending with the talking tea ladies!!!)
haha I had a lot of fun with those talking tea ladies! Thanks, Joyce!
Looks like a gorgeous city. Loved your whole series of the island and I'm excited to one day get there and use your vids as a guide. Hope your drive to Alaska is going well!
Everything is all good! We are loving it!
Glad you enjoyed our city and avoided the tourist traps! Excellent editing on your videos
We do a lot of research before visiting places! Thanks and thanks for watching!
That's the second video of Victoria I've come across this weekend! Thanks for sharing and I loved the shots of the peacock! Enjoy Alaska!
Thanks for watching!
Such a wonderful video! This was our last stop on honeymoon many years ago. You captured the essence of Victoria and brought back so many memories for us. Thanks so much!!!
Thanks for the kind words Chris! Glad we could bring back some memories!
When my son lived in Seattle we took a boat to Vancouver. It is an amazing historical city. We did visit Butchart Gardens which was spectacular, but this just gives you a reason to go back 👍🏼
That is a very nice trip! We need to get to those gardens. One day!
The smaller Niagara Falls was new to us too! We love that English/European feel of the city. That NZ ice cream was something else! 😋
We call it little Niagara Falls and you should see it in the rainy season. Enough water comes over it to turn that dry wash into a river.
Thanks for sharing. We have been planning a trip to Oregon/Washington and have added Vancouver Island as part of that trip.
We hope you have a great trip! Vancouver Island is a ton of fun!
I thought about cutting the scone length wise, but it was crumbly and I didn't want to destroy it so I thought the best move was the way I did it 😂
We'd love to learn more about the tea culture and experience it more and the different versions like you mentioned!
Love the tea lesson. Thanks for that...fascinating to see all the regional differences and whatnot.
We hope you get to go some time soon! You will love it!
I grew up in Victoria ! Loved all the memories you shared . There is a Fisherman’s Ward with lots of food selections . You can’t go wrong .
Yum! I could eat seafood many times a week!
Looks like lots of tasty eating in this episode! Echoing others, you missed a world class botanical garden - The Butchart Gardens, which are even more amazing when you realize they are inside an abandoned limestone quarry! Travel safely and "see" you down the road! 🙂
Yeah we are aware we missed it...it was a bit too pricey for this visit.
Amazing you captured the peacock calls along with seeing their breath in the cold!! 🦚
One of my favorite wildlife shots ever! 😍
We hope you have a great trip! Thanks for watching!
Love from Ontario, Canada! Paysage naturel magnifique et belle ville!
nous aimons le canada! Merci d'avoir regardé!
The weather is great, the scenery is awesome, and the people are beyond odd and strange!!! I lived there for 5 years and am glad I moved away. What a strange vibe...
Weird and odd in what way if you don't mind?
Great city. Such beautiful scenery. And I loved the totem pole. It just kept going and going. What an awesome trip y’all are on! 🇨🇦
Filming that totem pole hurt my neck lol, it was SO tall!
I want to visit Victoria so much! That taco was such a fusion of so many cultures lol
Yes it was! So tasty!
Awesome pictures. I heard it was a beautiful city. 😍
❤️❤️
Wow I used to visit the murchie old ladies every week when I was a little girl and push that button. Thanks for the nostalgia. I’ll have to go and visit them in Victoria one day.
We're so happy we could share and bring back those memories for you!
Loving Vancouver Island and even the Chinese Market you went to back on the mainland. Planning now to go to those spots and others before cruising to Alaska. Thanks for sharing the adventures and sparking desire to travel here within me!
We can't wait to come back to Vancouver Island one day! It's one of our favorite places! Thanks and thanks for watching!
There is so much to see and do on Vancouver Island & in Vancouver/Richmond. But the whole province is rich in history, varied geography and wonderful places to camp & sightsee - definitely well worth the time spent exploring this incredible province.
What a beautiful city. I would love to visit one day. Thanks for sharing!
It’s a bucket list city and island!
Great area, the ice cream and bakery looked fabulous and tasty; can’t wait for the next installment 😎😎😎😎👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌
👍👍 thanks! See ya then!
It has been over 20 years since I have been there! It was beautiful!
Adam your voicing the animated ladies having tea cracked us up! Love love love you showed us the city, looked like Europe! Also, enjoyed the mini-hikes (more our ability) to the falls & the beautiful park! Great video guys thank you! ~Cara
Those ladies were chatty 😂
Victoria reminded us of Europe also! Thanks!
What an interestingplace to visit. Thanks for the glimpse of things. Until next time... Travel safe.
💙💙
Adam’s old British lady voice is the best! You crack me up.
😂😂
Stopped into town once through a cruise, but didn't get to see much. Thanks for sharing your adventures!! And wow - what a sound from that peacock!!!!
We're happy to share! Thanks and thanks for watching!
Great video! We are going to Vancouver and Victoria in a few weeks to check out some universities for my daughter! Will definitely hit up some of the spots in your videos!
We hope you have a great trip!
Happy and safe travels happy couple🙏 thank you for taking us along to wonderful victoria! You as always do great👍
Thanks for being here and watching!
Victoria, very beautiful it's super I was two times ,Vancouver island it's fantastic. Beautiful place to be .Thank you ,very beautiful episode.
Greetings from the garden island 🏝 Kauai
We had a great time on the island and Victoria!
Thank you and thanks for watching! We miss Kauai!
Hehehe my city ! I'm so glad you got to see some of the gems of the island 🏝 🙌 😎
We had a fantastic time! One of our favorite places ever!
Well done!
Yeah it doesn't interest us too much because we aren't the biggest garden fans so we're happy with the free ones! Thanks and thanks for watching!
Followed your recs and tried red fish blue fish. Chowder was so good!
We're so glad you liked it!
We’ve heard it’s pricey! It looks nice, but as you mention Muchie’s is the way to go! Thank you so much for watching! ❤️❤️
Super cool video! Thank you for sharing! 🙂
Love going along on your journey to Alaska! Your videos are such fun entertainment!! Thanks for sharing
Thank you and thanks for following along!
It’s not just stuff from the past, but it’s real life people living in the now
My Home Town ! Im glad you enjoyed your time here !
It’s amazing! Thanks for watching!
Did you even go to high tea if you don't wear a fancy hat?! 😜
love this !!! what an amazing place
💓💓
Your entire series about Vancouver Island was fantastic. I can't wait to see what you do with your time in Alaska. BTW, that Peacock was crazy cool. Was that wild?
They were! Tons of them just walking all over the park...super cool!
@@juliepi-k1114 Wow, how lucky are the People of Victoria. Those are such beautiful birds.
There’s one that lives at the university too. His name is George!
Love your videos. Thanks for the visit to Victoria. For future plans you would also enjoy Ottawa. See the Canadian history light show projected on the parliament building.
Yes there is so much we want to see in Canada and Ottawa is high on the list!
Thank you so much! We hope you’re having a great time on Vancouver Island!
Thanks for watching! Hi, Jackson!
Love the beautiful photography - waterfall, peacocks, flowers etc. LOVE the food you get!! Makes me so hungry!! Bless you on your way! (watching since Pismo Beach, CA).
Thank you so much!
Good- looking couple ! Well -spoken and the guy has a very sharp haircut ! Way to go !
Thanks so much, Alex!
@@AdventuresofAplusK where do you guys live now? in BC?
Missed you guys! Hope your journey north is going well and safe! 🤍
All is well! It's been tough finding high speed internet to upload videos and been doing lots of adventuring! Thank you!
I love your videos you two are so awesome! 😁
Thank you! 💙😊
I don't just get excited watching your video I also get hungry too .stay safe and see you on the next one ✌
Make sure to bring a snack with ya! 😂
Yes I read about some of that. Very interesting!
That’s a crazy tidbit of history you shared! Thanks and thanks for watching!
Ya cant go wrong with Murchies👍👍
It was quite nice!
We are going there in May and your video was so helpful!
I'm late but great video! I live in Victoria and I have loved it thus far.
🤣I Love tea more! Seriously those ladies were funny and creepy at the same time. You guys have THE best vlog. Keep up the great work!
They were very funny and very creepy! Haha thank you so much!
Great History all around, That is awesome
Lots of history on the island!
The great thing about Victoria, Vancouver island there is no Coyotes, so lots of Rabbits , Deer , and peacocks around ,
We love all the wildlife!
Awesome video! Keep up the great work, you got yourself a new subscriber 😁
Wahoo! Thank you and thanks for watching!
Great video and a nice tour. Is there anything regarding the arts? And the food looks delicious. However, what makes their delicious food any different from any other place that has great food?
Those tacones..wow...I'm drooling.
They were so dang good!
Thank you so much to you both! We’re happy and thankful to share our travels through TH-cam!
Stay safe and try to stay cool!
Loved this one! And the music was ON POINT. We're passing through Port Angeles this week and it's taking every ounce of our strength not to jump on a ferry to Victoria right now! 😅
Ooooo you should go! It'll be worth it! Thank you!
My wife and I spent our honeymoon (1994) in Victoria at Abigails, about four blocks from the port. We returned on our 25th Anniversary to sign the guest book during our Anniversary Alaska / Canada your.
Wow that’s amazing! That’s a great memory to have
hi friends i am joko from indonesia.
waauw vuctoria is stunning and awesome
this place is highly recomended to visit.

Hi, Joko! Victoria is an amazing city! Great scenery, food, and things to do!
Thanks for watching!
Gold Stream Park was beautiful! Victoria is worth many many visits!
Pretty cool! Looks like a beautiful area. North to Alaska!!!!🙂
Onward!
Did you folks get to try a Beavertail? Those things are awesome!!!
No we didn't. Next time!
Great video with awesome photography. The ice cream looked amazing. Sociology was a little weak at times. What mic are you using?😀👍
This blog post outlines what gear we use: adventuresofaplusk.com/our-camera-gear-for-photography-vlogging/
Thanks for watching.
I live here and never really see the beauty… you guys made me see that 😀
Great video!!
That’s awesome to hear! You live in an amazingly beautiful playground!
@@AdventuresofAplusK Yes thank you! Hard to notice it when you have lived their your whole life! Great vid guys :) will be subbing for sure!
Wow Nice! You guys visited where I live! I haven’t enjoyed that fish in 3 years at least, and I haven’t even been to Beacon Hill park in a year. Am going tomorrow. 😂💕😎
We hope you have a fun time!
Thanks for watching, Dave!
I liked seeing all the English style buildings
Us too! Made us feel a little European!
Lol...those puppets at the end are creepy. 😜
Ya they kinda were!
If you like seafood Red Fish Blue Fish is a must visit. Thanks for those recommendations and for watching!
