- Patrick and Stuart continue their countdown until Christmas with another special episode for the third Sunday of Advent in 2023. They visit a large Marché de Noël (Christmas market) in the beautiful city of Bourges, France. The also do some additional holiday decorating at the chateau with candles in the windows, and Patrick showing how he makes a holiday floral arrangement with foliage from the chateau property.

The Christmas market was adorable. I particularly loved the tiny tot roller coaster and the hanging garlands with blue balls blowing in the wind. Greenery is a lovely way to decorate. That holly is just beautiful.

The festival looked lovely. Those candles and the greenery are beautiful. I have a terrible cold. I am on antibiotics. It is not covid but could be RSV. The last thing I want is Christmas in the hospital.
My next door neighbor was found collapsed in his yard yesterday by his 16 year old daughter. She called 911 and started CPR. The paramedics came and took over, but he didn't make it. He was a small man, but that never hindered him. He was always helping out neighbors. He didn't believe in doctors. His wife is a care aide in Long-term care. The police brought her home. I feel so bad for them. Sorry for my rant. You both helped perk me up with your video. Happy 3rd Sunday of Advent. ❤
Enjoyed the marche de Noël festival and the Christmas decorations at Château de Colombe. Stuart's candles and Patrick's greenery vase add a bit of pizazz in this bleak winter.

That little gnome peeking over the clock in the hall is priceless. I didn't think I'd like the idea of the ornaments in the greeny, but I have to admit, I liked the look. Especially the way the lights are reflected in the mirror.

Your festive arrangements are glorious! I think the little lights make them a little bit more special. I love them! Do the dogs take it in turns to he a helper? Do you choose which one helps you? Or do they just pop in to see what you’re up to.? My Rocsi always likes to help me unload the tumble dryer. If a sock or something lands on her back she freezes until I take it off her. I sometimes do it deliberately because she does try to climb into the dryer, and a sock 🧦 n her back stops her from trying. She hadn’t caught on yet why I do it. Just a matter of time. 😂😂🎄❤️Merry Advent.

Good morning Patrick & Stuart, I so love the European towns/villages during the Festive Season. Their individual little huts with the most delicious and charming things available for the Christmas holidays. Not everybody has the time or maybe the talent to make their own, so there is always an alternative way and through that we can support somebody that has a financial need and this is perfect to support them. The chain car with the deer in front and the Santa figure at the back, with them flying through the air looks very real, how delightful it was to see. I just loved the greenery in the vase. Then you added the gold coloured grasses and beautiful bables, who would dare to criticize that? It would look so beautiful at night or even in the dusk light changing the ordinary to the extra-ordinary. So by the way, there is no such thing as bad taste, even what is kitch to us, is another person's delight. There is no room to criticise another person's taste!! For those people that always has negative expressions, I wish they would just be quiet or leave. I am cutting back on some vlogs as I just do not have the time to watch and read them all anymore. I find some boring, some not sufficient information, so it is in my power to decide what choice to make. Love Amber, so beautiful and love their winter coats. Not much work to be done outside, except gather a few things for ornamental use, try to watch Tom & Melissa on Come Sit at my Table, Tom just made a wonderful cider spicy drink, it looks so good, but I cannot make it as we don't have those ingredients here in S.Africa :( yet for the Northern Hemisphere you have so many choices. I am sure you will love the spicy apple cider. Happy days, all going well I will see you for the Wednesday episode. I loved the video as well as the music. I did miss the European Christmas markets in my 22 years in the USA. We had holy bushes in Illinois. The one we have here is variegated. Normally they are just green. Thank you 🎄💖🎄
The Marche de Noel looked delightful. I was in Germany last year in December, and the Christmas markets there were sooooo crowded I couldn't enjoy them. But i was told that last year was the first time the markets were opened since Covid lockdowns, so perhaps more people came out to see them. The greenery bouquet in your foyer looks wonderful!

It is wonderful to walk around and have everything for the arrangements in the back garden. Mistletoe is growing here in abundance but I have not seen it in the stores in the Midwest. 🎄👍🏻🎄

The French Christmas markets are so nice. We have nothing like them. We have the odd church sale where you can buy hand made items and maybe some baking. Natural decor is very nice for the holidays and to be able to get foliage from your own property is even better. Even the lethal branches. LOL 😅 Have a great week ahead.
